Good morning to whom it may concern,…read more I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the service I received at your location at 1103 N Highway 67, Florissant, MO, during my most recent visit on 05/28/25, at approximately 5:30 PM. This is not my first interaction at this location, and unfortunately, it continues a pattern of troubling service and poor communication at this store -- particularly involving Chris Reed, the Assistant Store Manager. I had a confirmed reservation for a vehicle rental, yet upon arrival, I was unexpectedly told I needed to provide a utility bill -- a requirement that has never been communicated to me in previous rentals with either National or Enterprise. Despite expressing my confusion and disappointment respectfully, Chris Reed responded in a tone that was condescending, dismissive, and completely devoid of empathy. Instead of trying to fix the problem he was more concerned with going back and forth with me about how he was right and I was wrong. Let me be very clear: I remained calm, respectful, and never raised my voice throughout the entire interaction. Security footage will confirm this. Despite my composed demeanor, Chris made the shocking decision to deny me service, citing that he did not feel "comfortable" renting to me because I questioned the fairness of the treatment I received. This decision was not only humiliating and unprofessional, but it also raised serious concerns of discriminatory behavior. As a long-time customer and resident of the community, I am appalled by how I was treated -- particularly by someone in a managerial position who should be setting the standard for customer service, not tarnishing it. In over 20 plus years of working in customer service myself, I have never encountered such poor handling of a customer concern. At no point did Chris Reed offer an apology, acknowledge the possibility of a miscommunication, or attempt to resolve the issue. His demeanor suggested a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and basic professionalism. Now I understand it was not his store that made the reservation personally, however as an employee of the company you do share some responsibility with the information provided. My issue would have been a great training opportunity for the call center. This situation requires immediate attention and action. I am requesting a formal investigation into this incident, including a review of the surveillance footage and a direct response from corporate leadership. Furthermore, I strongly urge that Chris Reed be evaluated for retraining, particularly in customer relations and sensitivity awareness. I got my license, no problem. They also gave (not sold) me maps and a book on where I was going. I also saw they have other travel deals to different places. Locally, you can get discounts on movie tickets and things like that. AAA is more than just auto service - it's also a travel agency. A week ago I got some stuff in the mail from them on tours they offer and they looked pretty good. They also offer travel insurance and stuff. Overall, they are good and they can help you plan a trip, no matter what you plan on doing or where you plan on going.

Extremely Disappointing Service Department!…read more We brought our Holiday Rambler to Byerly in June for several repairs, including a significant water leak near the door. After more than two months, nearly $4,000 in charges, multiple trips, and two assurances that the leak had been fixed, the RV continued to leak when it rained. What was especially frustrating was learning that one repair was supposedly tested by spraying water on the RV while supervising staff stood outside rather than inside checking for leaks. Eventually, we were told the problem was the awning over the door, the same area they claimed to have repaired during our original visit. We had recently purchased a separate and expensive RV from Byerly, so we expected a much better level of service and workmanship. Unfortunately, this experience has eliminated our confidence in their Service Department. Our Holiday Rambler is finally back, although we still don't know whether the leak is actually fixed. One thing is certain: we will not voluntarily bring our RV back to Byerly for service. Having an extended warranty that may require us to deal with this department in the future makes the experience even more disappointing. A message was left for the Service Department Manager, Steve, asking him to call me back in reference to a complaint about the service we received. As of this writing, he has not called me back. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
