The team that has been working on my front and back yard were incredible. The work done was professional and looks better than I imagined. We found this company on yelp. Initially the owner came out and was very professional getting the project started. Once the project started he was never to be seen or heard of. We had pavers and artificial grass placed in our backyard. A couple of months later the pavers and sealers cracked significantly. We attempted many times to reach out to him. He was very difficult to contact. He finally contacted us and said he was out on vacation. He came out and fixed the problem. The same thing happened again but even worse. We still haven't heard back from him. It unfortunate situation, we spent thousands of dollars on this project to get this end result. read more

May 2013 we contacted Shawn at AAA landscaping to work on our backyard. I don't think they expected everything that ended up needing to be done. It was quite the undertaking and they never ONCE backed away from it and tackled it like the professionals they are. We had roots that our roots didn't even know we had, damn sucker trees LOL! We have a beautiful backyard that has DG, bricks around our fire pit, synthetic turf that is incredibly pet friendly and so easy to care for, a new fence and just a relaxing calm place to enjoy chilling with family and friends for bbq'ing.. Shawn was very honest, reasonably priced, his head man Jesus and crew are extremely professional, and very accommodating with any minor changes we made along the way. We love him and his crew so much that we asked him to come back out and put some of the same turf down in another spot. Shawn came over to look at the job, which we told him would go to bid. He suggested that we needed plans so that the bids were "apples to apples", which made sense. We asked him to do those plans. We got the job bid and decided to go with AAA. When Shawn said they were done, we were surprised that a major feature wasn't installed. Shawn said that even though pavers were clearly shown on the design, he hadn't included them in his bid. Others looking at the design did, of course. Shawn was right, I didn't notice that he didn't include them in his scope of work (a document with many, many items on it that he sent me in a weird format that was difficult to read). Even though his contract stated that the plans were to inform the job, as well as the scope of work, he told me he never intended to do pavers. We went to small claims and the judge agreed that I should have caught the omission on the scope of work. If you do business with AAA, you'd better be good at reading contracts and legal documents, because what is said will be done, and shown will be done doesn't matter. Watch out!!! read more

We live in a gated community and our hedges need to be a certain height. Although maintaining the hedges was part of our bi-monthly service, the hedges were rarely maintained. The regulation is 6 feet on the sides and the hedges were reaching 10 feet in some areas. After several emails and calls, the owner promised the hedges would be trimmed at our next service. My wife was home and walked around, showing the workers exactly when needed to be cut. They worked for a short period of time then left without finishing the job. The office lady said it would be an extra charge to send them back out. Fired. read more

Awful. We went through 3 different contacts at aaa (in 4 months) for our front and back landscaping. Apparently, employee turnover is frequent and I can see why. Shawn, the owner, was at our place only 3 times in a matter of about a month of work. First day they showed up (unexpectedly) and they tore up half of my front lawn because they were using old drawings. They performed work without our approval and charged us to the tune of $3000 more than the original estimate...and they didn't even do the work for which they charged!!! We called him out to address the issues and Shawn actually verbalized his anger IN FRONT OF MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. Ended up going to court over the issues and got some of our money back, but still working to get the rest. We paid top dollar for what was supposed to be the best, and they severely underdelivered. I am certain that he will post some sort of flowery response as he did with Nicole below, but do not be deceived. It is not who he truly is. Unprofessional, unorganized, unworthy of your business.
