Signed up to transfer AAA car battery warranty as stated on AAA's website. 3/5 people I spoke to today told me I was a liar and that battery warranties do not transfer despite it being in writing on AAA's website. When I tried to set up a service call after signing up for service explicitly for the battery warranty transfer (and confirmed with the agent signing me up that it would be transferred) I was told by the dispatch agent that it would not transfer and I would be charged for the battery and charged $65 for using the service I judt signed up for and paid $75 for. They claimed the $65 fee was disclosed in the email they sent me, but it was not and I was called a liar when I read the email verbatim. I will never use AAA even if it were offered for free. read more

First I want to state as far as I know I haven not had personal business with this specific branch, I have used the AAA auto app, and my complaint is not even with the entire company, only the membership division. Let's talk about the AAA memberships road side service, and just how fantastically laughablely horrible they prove to be time after time. I would rather jam toothpicks under every one of my finger and toe nails that accept a free membership from AAA or any person in the world. I would rather jump rope, nude, in the middle of rec. for death row inmates with zero officers on the grounds, than be gifted an AAA membership. I would rather eat dog crap covered in live slugs that's been marinated in dumpster juice than have my name on a AAA membership. So I give them negative 26 stars, and I'm being very generous in doing so. I have had a AAA membership purchased by my dad, for 15 years..... maybe 20. Over the last 4 years it doesn't matter where you are it doesn't matter what time of the day it doesn't matter if there's three people that live in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere and all of the stores are not stores.... But they are tow/wrecker businesses who are 3rd party drivers for AAA, and there is only 2 vehicles in said town. One being mine which is needing a tow. ... I have not seen a tow truck or roadside assistant person and anything less than eight hours from the time I call and make my request for service.. do you know what can happen to a small female broke down on the side of the road after eight hours? Probably some pretty awful things... The last times that I have tried to get a tow truck for a couple of older vehicles that I own that breakdown occasionally, I waited 14 hours 32 hours and one time one of my vehicles just never showed up. The app said it was at my house, but it was nowhere to be found. AAA could not locate it nor could the tow company at that point another time. Someone said that they had canceled my request after waiting for 10 hours.. and at this very moment, I am still waiting on a vehicle to be delivered from about 30 minutes away from my home and I called that requesting it 130 yesterday it is now 8:30 AM the next day. DONT FALL FOR IT. THEY ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST. Oh, not to mention that they send you automated calls every couple of hours telling you that "due to high volume of calls in my area", I can pretty much go eff myself. This huge corporation has to hire third-party tow truck drivers instead of just buying their own and doing their job in a timely manor.... Y'all, sell that stock, down with AAA read more

I made reservations for an AMA cruise, originally on 2020. We then pushed through to a May,2023 cruise. However, since early December, 2022, I have attempted to contact Rebecca Kinne to cancel this cruise. I was able to reach someone from another branch, but all she could do was send a message to Rebecca. Although our AAA provides great discounts for self-service reservations, something drastic must have happened in the local AAA office that has rendered them unable to provide customer service. This has already cost several thousand dollars in carrying forward the existing cruise reservations. read more

We have been stranded on John Bragg Highway and waited (and still waiting) 4 1/2 hours later. There were no follow up calls--just one after placing the request stating they would be here in 39 minutes. that way at 1:39 pm. I called back twice, 30 minutes ago and was told to wait 15 minutes and call them back. We waited 21 minutes and called back and that lady said, I'm sorry for your wait but I'll escalate your request and just as I was about to say something, she hung up on me. My grandmother bought me a membership when I started driving, and I can't thank her enough! With the pandemic all travel plans have been interrupted. I had made plans prior to covid and had to change a couple of times. This has been the absolute worst experience ever!! In order to get a response I had to physically go into the office for updates or to change dates. Emails or phone messages go in answered. I had asked on one occasion if my trip was canceled due to the area recently been deemed a state of emergency due to severe flooding. Kinne gave one sentence reply "don't think it affected tourists area". Via email - I asked if she could handles flights since hotel was not refundable. It's been over a week and a half - and I have not received an answer. Such a lack of concern or regard for customers. Kinne makes a special effort to let you know you are an inconvenience but flat expression, lack of greetings, & very minimal use of words. I am a 15 year member of AAA Auto Club South.....this will be my last year! Absolutely horrible customer service and once they get your dues, you cannot be reimbursed if you cancel.
