I was torn between a four and a five star rating. I'm fairly new to Michigan so I second guess…read moremyself when it comes to the actions of contractors, thinking things might be different here than the state I came from. That being said. Nice guys. Owner and a helper. We wanted a custom fence with cattle paneling framed in wood so it didn't block out the view but not tacky like chainlink. We did hire them late in the season so it was a month and a half before they could get to work and that was pushing it with winter coming. They did come and do a short privacy fence for us on another part of the yard that was traditional lumber. Then they came back later to do the large project. With freezing weather coming they came one day and did the posts with concrete, went to do another job, and then built the fencing at their business the week after, installing after that. It looks nice. Not the best pic but what I have at this time. It was expensive to do, I really can't say if it was overly expensive or not. We are in a small area and I couldn't find someone to do this type of fence so we paid what we needed to pay to get it done. The things I would say someone else should be prepared for are: Timing is quite subjective to this company. They might show up at 9, they might show up at 11. They might come on Monday or they might not. You will do some contacting them to verify things, it is not necessarily on the forefront of their minds. Not saying this is bad, just something I was not used to. If you want them to clean up the clay/dirt that gets dug up, the leftover after they fill back in around the posts, you need to tell them. No idea if this is extra. I didn't bring it up and so I am doing it myself. Not a biggie, just one more thing to do and of course with the weather it is not easy. They are quite busy, if you are flexible that is fine, if you still work maybe not. Before I retired this would have driven me nuts. Being retired it is thought provoking but not awful. Lastly, we did spend a lot of time picking up "clay patties" out of the grass and still getting plenty on our shoes and that stuff doesn't come off easy. If this bugs you then you might ask they stay on a pathway when going to their truck back and forth. Their boots are just caked in clay. I will say that they noticed they forgot to put on a piece after looking at the pictures they took at the end and so they came back the next day to fix that. Not something I would have noticed likely. They also brought some scraps we could close up the gaps in places the ground was sloping so our dogs don't get out. They didn't have to do that. Overall I would not mind using them again.

I got estimates from four fencing companies…read more Final Touch Fencing had the best price. Robert and Marisa were very helpful throughout the entire process. They answered all my questions and offering options and insights that I had not considered. I share a fence line with three neighbors. FTF gave me a detailed breakdown of what each neighbor's share would be. This made approaching my neighbors so much easier. They handled all permits and were great about keeping me updated. FTF threw out my old fence. They carefully cleared bushes and landscaping, preserving several that otherwise may have been removed. I removed four mulberry trees from the property and FTF coordinated and worked around the tree company with no issues. I especially appreciated how flexible Final Touch was--just prior to the start date I decided to add a small separate fence around my side door and an eight foot gate to allow for improved access to my backyard. These changes did not delay the project and the additional cost of these changes was very reasonable. Overall, my new fence exceeds my expectations and I am very happy. My three neighbors are happy and I have been getting compliments from passersby. I will be following up with final touch in three months to seal the wood when it is ready. My only regret is I did not do this sooner. I highly recommend Final Touch Fencing

My family and I hired Alpha based on the owners statements of being licensed amd fully insured…read more After using scare tactics regarding the "rating" of our siding and the "warped boards above your girls rooms" we paid him a totalbof $25,250. Over the course of three days, Riggs and his crew tore off our roof. Every night they left it completely exposed and open, never once tarping or applying any form of a waterproof covering. On the third day, Riggs crew laid ice/water and underlayment, then again left without any protection on an open roof. Riggs was aware of an oncoming 48hr rain storm, in which we received over 8" of rain. His plan was to also remove all of the siding prior to the storm as well. And THANK GOD he did not. When informed of the water damage throughout the entirety of our first floor ceilings, Riggs arrived with Mercedes and Chris. When told that the police were enroute (I was in fear of what I was going to do to him and wanted police there for his protection) and that dispatch directed him to stay at his vehicle, Riggs and his two enployees started to gather their equipment in the back of an empty truck. They STILL did not bring a single tarp. During this time, Mercedes is caught on our CCTV saying "prove we were here" as they are gathering their equipment. They were reminded that they needed to stay at their vehicle per centeal dispatch. After being at our home for EXACTLY 12bminutes, Riggs left and blocked us from all forms of communication, going as far as to changing his cell phone number. CCTV also captured Riggs bragging to Mercedes and Chris about selling us on needing a new roof and new siding. Riggs and Mercedes have resorted to going om social media and defaming my family stating we "committed insurance fraud" and that we set him up. They have made several false defamatory statements. During our civil lawsuit, he is now planning on filing bankruptcy to coward his way out of paying a civil judgement. My family was displaced for 3 months and forced into a camper while our home was repaired. Total in damages covered by our insurance was $40k. Damages and losses not covered are at $60k+/- and increasing due to legal costs. We beg of anyone to completely stay away from this company and this "husband and wife" as much as possible.
