My husband went into this location in person (April 19th). He had a pleasant conversation with Mateen & emailed him our info . I called about 30 minutes later to ask for clarification, left a voicemail. Two days later, no return phone call. I called again. So, I told my husband, I am still waiting for a response. Next, he calls. Mateen tells him, your has an appointment and is coming in. Excuse me ,Sir no one from your business have yet to return my 1st phone call, and certainly has NOT made an appointment with me. My husband takes time from his work, to call , he says Mateen answered and quickly asked if he could call him? My husband says yes. We are both still waiting for a phone call back so far, over 2 weeks, now. Was looking for a tax guy closer to home. My previous tax guy is in Torrance, and I no longer wanted to make it an all day affair just to file my taxes. Found AAA taxes, and after calling them I decided to come here. They are located less then a mile away from me. On foothill blvd in a tiny strip mall. They've evidently been in business for more than 20 years and in this particular location for the pass 10 years. It is a small family owned business. My tax preparer's name was Sepon. A quieter young fellow. Very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of taxes. Educated me in regards to the difference between IRAS and roth IRAS, which was appreciated. Get into the subject of cars and luxury performance and he really opens up!!! From start to finish it took about 30 min, which I didn't mind at all. By the time I was finishing up there was a long line of people, about 5 or 6 groups waiting to do their taxes, so I suggest you either make an appointment or call before heading over to see if they are busy. The man on the phone quoted me for $75 and even after doing my taxes (itemized) they honored that proce, and charged me $75, which wasen't bad considering how much other places are charging for this service. Overall I am satisfied with this place. Very professional. Fast, easy, and efficient. And it doesnt hurt that I'm getting money back either!! (*Take that uncle Sam!!) I will definitely recommend this place to get your tax needs taken care of, and will be back again next year!! Thanks!! read more
