After last week's storm that wasn't a hurricane, I needed someone to get a fallen pine tree out of the backyard. My first choice made an appointment to come by in about a week and a half. Brief online review showed me that AAA Tree Service was highly rated. Called on day and had a callback next day. Very professional response and following day a crew arrived and removed that. AAA Tree Experts took down two tall palm trees from my very tight space cul-de-sac home. I still don't know how they managed to get them out safely, but they did! It is so wonderful not having palm fronds dropping on my roof and yard every few days, especially with storm season in place again. Aside from a few minor divots in the yard, which resulted from some safety measures they had in place, the whole experience was top notch!!! Pleasant and knowledgable owner came out and gave the quote. BEST price in town! I checked with quite a few places & was thankful to find AAA. Multiple guys came out to remove the tree & did a great job, it was cool to watch how they make sure it all falls int he right place. Then came back the next day to haul off & grind the stump. Can't recommend highly enough! AAA was scheduled to come and remove 3 trees and cut limbs back or August 29 - with Hurricane Idalia approaching. They were there all day. Got everything cut back and removed the debris. Unbelievable. I was very impressed and will certainly call them again. read more

We bought our home just over a year ago, and the former owner had let the yard really go...we basically couldn't use the backyard due to erosion, cast iron plants, unkempt azalea bushes, ground ivy, etc... Our two year old hated going outside - we all did. AAA took down two big trees, ripped out all of the ivy, bushes, unwanted plants, re-sodded everything, put in an 80 foot berm to help with erosion, as well as a drain basin with underground tube to redirect water, and a new fence. Cory, who we worked with, is outstanding. We had a few follow up items, and Cory came out, listened to the issues and came up with a plan to fix what we needed. I'm sure we will need additional tree services in the future (we have a lot of trees!), and AAA will always be our first go to. read more

Look, we live in Tallahassee, we have more tree services available than trees it seems. We recently bought a new house and had a significant number of trees that needed to be removed, so other projects could begin. Because we were doing so many giant pine trees close to the house, I did the standard three estimates one better and actually got four, as well as researched insurance and available equipment. I did not go with the lowest estimate and I'm glad I didn't. These guys really were amazing, from the estimator, to the cutting crew, to the hauler, to the stump grinder. Considering the size of the equipment required, I called the free 811 pre dig service to mark up our lawn and from that point, my only other job was to pay The bill. Excellent teamwork and an overall Great Job completed for me, at a reasonable price. Good folks. read more

This is the third time we have called on them In each case they were very professional and protected our yard from ruts, etc. thanks to Hurricane Michael we called them this third time. Since ours was not an emergency we did have a bit of a wait but they did not forget us. Their prices are very reasonable. The first time they cut trees the price was lower than other quotes. The trees were dangerous and in close proximity to buildings, power lines and our house. If you need help with your trees give them a call. read more

I called to request a quote for a huge oak tree that fell in my yard. I called on Tuesday. They said they would be out at the end of the week. i called Friday afternoon they said they have given it to an arborist and someone would be out early the following week. It's Tuesday and still they haven't come out and no one has called me. At this point they won't get my business even if they offered to do it for 1/3 of what everyone else quoted me. read more

After my original review, AAA started harassing me about payment. They had NEVER sent me a bill, which, based upon the damage they had caused, I believed was the very LEAST they could do. After all, I had to pay someone else to come and grind the stumps which they left and I had damaged azaleas, ruts in my yard, and a 35-year-old living dogwood REMOVED. I could not even replace the dogwood - there weren't any that size available - and the value of that tree was over $1800, well in excess of what AAA had quoted for their services. Ben called and THREATENED me, he would take "other measures" if I refused to pay. Finally, after repeated phone calls, I sent them a check for about half of what they wanted. I haven't heard back. Don't do business with this company whatever you do!!! read more

I'm very happy with the service and the price. AAA took down 4 pines and several smaller trees. This was preventative work, so I was not in a big hurry. Arborist came out to give me an estimate about a week after I called. Then work was done about 2 weeks after the estimate. They took great care during the work to not make a mess of things. Massive amounts of branches, logs etc, were cleanly hauled away the day after they were cut. Stump grinder came in another 2 days. I would use them again and recommend to others. Also happy with good communication by e-mail and phone. Payment on line is easy, and can be made by credit card, which is a plus for me. read more
