I worked with two technicians today. Phil diagnosed the problem, and Danny helped tow the vehicle to the auto shop. Not only were both of these guys very kind and enjoyable to chat with, but they each taught me something that I didn't know about my vehicle. They took the time to explain things showed genuine interest in what they were sharing. Had a very disrespectful tow truck driver come out to replace a flat on my friends car, came in very hostile and disrespectful as to why any one of us couldn't replace it, immediately my friends were uncomfortable because this old man who is CLOCKED in came to ask WHY HE HAS TO DO HIS JOB he's being paid for... I went to AAA auto club in winter park! There was 3 employees in the office working in the afternoon!! First of all, nobody wanted to help me! I saw one older person working at the counter and two people sitting at a desk doing nothing that I could see and the woman at the counter asked if they could help me and they said no they were doing something else!! Then I asked"do you make airlines reservations, no we don't handle that airlines." "If you want hotel or motel reservations " she gave me a piece of paper with a phone number on it to call" I made a rental car reservation and the other older was watching me like I was a former prisoner or something and trying to intimidate me !!! Then asked the other more questions and it's company policy that we don't give out that information!!" I have been a AAA auto club member for many years and never been treated like that!! I called AAA for a tow at 6pm night, the current wait time (after almost 12 hours of waiting) is another 16 hours. I've called AAA four times since then. Telling them I think the system made a mistake, please look into it. I keep getting told that's the real wait time. Don't buy AAA If you want to be towed in under 24 hours. read more

Came through when I needed it most! Huge hats off to Chris Stua with the AAA Winter Park team. I called him at about 9am on a morning when I simply had to have an insurance binder that day for a condo I was going to close on in less than 4 business days. I had been working with another Insurance company to get this done and the agency in Winter Park was simply awful, leaving me hanging in the 11th hour after a nearly 4 week odyssey. Despite the challenges of writing insurance following two major hurricanes in Florida, Chris dove in and got my application started and moving forward. He kept in touch on needed documents, and went to bat for me in pitching my risk worthiness. Good news is that HE DID IT! Got me my insurance binder in one day, and we will be closing on time! So I needed my car towed from my house to my auto shop. I called AAA as I am a member for many years. Well I called them at around 1:30PM. Got a message my car would be picked up by 2:40pm. Nothing. After about 4PM I called and they said they will look into it and get back to me. Nothing. At 5PM I called again and said they will look into it and get back to me. I said I want to speak to a supervisor. Then I got a call from a supervisor that there will definately be a pickup at 8:01PM. Really could just say 8PM. Well its now 8:40pm and pouring down rain and no show. What a shock. I called to reschedule my tow for first thing in the morning. Worst service I ever had and been a "loyal" member for god knows how long. They suck plain and simple gotta find a better service for towing. May just cancel my membership over this not worth paying. read more

I have had to call AAA a handful of times in a few years, but this specific store has always delivered the absolute best service possible. A little over two years ago my battery went completely dead. I called AAA and they were out to my location in just a short half hour on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Andrew was kind and worked quickly to resolve the problem and place a new battery with a 6 year warranty. Flash forward two years and some change and my battery goes out on me again (no fault of their own, I am notoriously unlucky with car batteries) and Dwayne showed up today in record time in 103 degree weather and was equally as kind and quick with this battery replacement. I appreciate that they always offer me water in this heat and that they are never anything short of a pleasure to work with. I consider myself grateful to live in an area where this store is my closest location to call. Thank you guys so much for all that you do! read more

I called AAA Emergency Roadside Assistance after my car wouldn't start at 5:15 PM today and despite speaking with two meek managers and 3 moronic customer "service" reps , 4 hours have passed, and they haven't called me or arrived to help me. I have to call Uber to pick me up now (9:45 PM), leave my car behind and return to tow it home tommorrow. Opt for Verizon Roadside Assistance or call a tow service because AAA will leave you stranded. read more

Winter Park AAA - Robert Omelia - Be careful before you sign up with AAA I called the AAA Winter Park office to get a quote for my auto insurance and was given a new policy with all of the details on the coverage. I accepted their auto insurance offer and changed my previous State Farm insurance to AAA. Unfortunately, less than 1 month after I had signed up with AAA auto insurance, they sent me a statement on the mail with a $400 increase on my coverage (30% increase). I called them back to no avail. Robert Omelia was very quick to make sure I get the insurance but was completely unable to sustain the coverage that i was offered. This was the worst insurance experience ever. They just want you to sign up with them any possible way and then tell you later that they can't really maintain their original coverage and quote. read more
