The place/office is inside of The Westin Hotel in Lake Mary so pretty hidden/hence you don't see it from outside. We had a hiccup on our traveling schedule and ended up having to extend our reservation. One of the down falls that we encountered with this rental was that they did not allow us to extend it over the phone, they stated only in person. When we drove to the closest location where we were my hubby had some card issues so he told the clerk at the counter he would be back so he could be able to quickly empty out the vehicle to return it since they couldn't process his card. Unbeknownst to us, the gentleman then replied if you turn it in 30 mins after the time we charge a daily $10 fee. Kind of a hack we wish we would of known. I say kind of though because it really wasn't the full case either they changed a $40 charge for the 2 days late on top of a $17 overcharge fee called "7% confession fee". My hubby noticed the extra charges once he got home, go figure. So silly pro tip look at your receipts lol and also real tip make sure your daily quotes match up with the quoted travel agency price. Il update this if/once he calls tomorrow to try to get some of these fees waived since he was told it would be less for the late fees. Other than that comparing to other rentals this place isn't so bad and our situation is a bit unique. If he had spoken up about the fees when checking out too maybe they could of accommodated us better. I'd just like to update my review. My husband called back and budget kindly waived most of the late fees and returned him $45 since he had come in the the office on time to extend the rental. We appreciate that and will be doing business with them in the future.

We have always used Enterprise for our car rental needs (for 20+ years) and have never been…read moredisappointed. Our most recent rental was in May 2026 at their location in Sanford, Florida. The rental rate was reasonable as always however, this trip ended with us leaving some prescription polarized sunglasses in the car by mistake. We didn't realize it until we were on the plane flying home. We contacted the Enterprise office in Sanford and they were incredible to work with. They located our sunglasses and shipped them back to us right away. This just reinforced our trust in this great company. Enterprise Rent-A-Car -- Sanford, FL (SR-46) Absolute Failure…read moreI am posting this so others do not experience what my family and I went through. On October 24, 2025, I made a reservation with Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 4316 FL-46, Sanford, FL 32771 for an extended luxury SUV, scheduled for pickup on December 27, 2025 and return on December 30, 2025. This rental was critical because I was traveling out of town with my family, including relatives who flew in all the way from the Philippines, and we needed adequate seating and cargo space for both guests and luggage. To avoid any issues, I called the branch on December 22, 2025 to confirm my reservation. I was explicitly assured that the vehicle would be available and ready for pickup on the 27th. That assurance meant absolutely nothing. When I arrived on December 27, provided my ID, and the employee entered my information into the system, I was immediately told: "Sorry, we do not have a vehicle for you." At that point, I did not observe any attempt to search for a suitable replacement vehicle or to contact another Enterprise location to see if there was any way to accommodate our reservation. I spoke directly with the manager, Alex, and explained that I had called days earlier and was promised the vehicle. His response was that they had been having this issue "for a week now." If that was the case, why was I never notified? A simple call would have allowed me to make alternate arrangements. Instead, I was left stranded on the day my family was supposed to leave town. I was offered another vehicle, but it did not make sense and did not meet the needs of our reservation, as we still would not be able to fit everyone or the luggage. The entire reason for reserving an extended luxury SUV was space and comfort for a large group traveling together. The only "solution" that was seriously pushed was: "Take this 15-passenger high-top Sprinter or get out of my store." That vehicle was completely impractical due to parking limitations at our destination. When I declined and asked if anything else could be done, I was told repeatedly: "There is nothing I can do." No effort. No viable alternatives. No professionalism. It got worse. When I asked if they could at least give me a ride home (less than 5 miles away), the answer was a flat NO. I was then threatened with the police and told to leave the store. I asked to wait inside briefly because it was hot outside while arranging a ride. I was told yes -- and two minutes later, I was again told to leave or the police would be called. This was done in front of my family and visiting guests. I have been an Enterprise customer for over 10 years, renting in multiple states. I have never experienced anything even remotely like this. I contacted Enterprise Customer Service, filed a formal complaint, and was told an escalation/incident report was created and that someone would follow up to help secure a vehicle or address the situation. That never happened. As of January 5, I have not received a single call, email, or follow-up from Enterprise. This experience reflects: Failure to honor a confirmed reservation Offering unsuitable replacement vehicles that did not meet the reservation requirements Hostile and unprofessional behavior by management Zero accountability or follow-up from corporate customer service Enterprise -- this is how you treat loyal, long-time customers? I will never rent from Enterprise again, and I strongly advise others to avoid the Sanford SR-46 location. The lack of professionalism and disregard for customers is unacceptable. This review is being posted publicly so others are aware before trusting this location with important travel plans.
