The Tax Office we normally go to wasn't available, (Closed due to 2020/2021 - COVID/Pandemic), so thought this would be a decent place to get Taxes done on a weekend. I was served by Ms. Kristie (Dung) guessing her name is "Kristie Uyen Le" based on the business card she handed me. She took a look at my paperwork and said "Ok, this is easy, Two W-2's and a few other things, we can do this.." I said "Well, great. How much?.." She said "We charge $70" um..thinking to myself..."Ok, for a first time Customer I guess...it would be nice if she could have trimmed a bit off the price tag, but what ever. * shrug * Ms. Kristie was professional and courteous. The whole process took about 20 min from start to finish..with E-File. EDIT - 5/19/2021 - Tax Returns arrived..as expected! Very happy...looking forward to returning again next year. :) Thank You!

Uyen is confrontation and has taken a great family business and turned it into a mess. Her assistant is equally unprofessional and an embarrassment to tax professionals everywhere. Many loyal customers over the years are leaving due to her poor service and ineptitude. Uyen needs to be reminded that her customers are everything. On 2.19.12 I called to receive an update/status on my taxes (this is 3 weeks from my file drop off date mind you) and I was told they hadn't even started on my Loss/Profit portion of my taxes. Another email was supposedly sent to me again on 2.19.12...which I also did not receive. So I gave them a call today, 2.28.12 and received an update via email a few hours later and was asked to confirm the receipt of the email. So....I did: I'll be in tomorrow to pick them up. First I want to say thank you and I appreciate your firm handling my taxes as well as the profit and loss report. I do want to say, however, that the level of customer service I received I thought was extremely poor. Not only did I not receive an update on an eta that I had requested, but not one person from your firm even attempted to follow up with me when there was no return of information. Since my communications with Laura have all had quick turnarounds, I would have thought that my non-response would have been an indicator that I didn't receive the request for info. If I hadn't once again called to get a status report, I don't believe there would have been resolve anytime soon. Taxes are an already stressful situation, but this experience really did make it worse. My apologies for the scathing email and I don't usually write them, but I feel I have to be honest about this situation. It is only today that I learned that those emails did not reach you. Today I determined the email addresses came from the questionnaire you completed. The new client questionnaire was the source and admittedly was a bit difficult to ready. I will shoot you a copy. On my end I think that we need to do a better job of reading email addresses. George doesn't have time to do my taxes. I have my son or daughter drop off the paperwork for me since I don't drive and they don't have time to fit me in to their schedule. This year the receptionist was especially rude when my daughter dropped off my envelope. They told her they couldn't get my taxes done in time for the 15th and she said that's fine and to call her husband when it's ready to pick up. My daughter sent in the extension form to the IRS on the 15th for me. I can't hear- so back in 2020 I had them change my contact phone number to my son-in-law to make things easier for them to communicate with me. On the 17th, I received a voicemail on my old landline that my taxes were ready and I owed money. My daughter called first thing in the morning to arrange picking up the forms and was yelled at by the receptionist. I had her ask if they calculated the late fees for the IRS since my taxes were late and she said we don't do that here. They liked doing business with my husband and I when we had a business and they made a lot of money from us. But now we are yesterday's trash to them. Thanks for nothing.
