Miss Raasu is a natural with children. She is a very genuine caregiver who runs this business more out of passion than profession. What will stand out about her is that she never gives up on any child whom she accepts even if the child takes longer to adjust or is more demanding than usual. She is the epitome of patience and children mill around her like little moths, attracted to her composed and loving demeanor. In our case she accommodated our request of sibling admission even though my younger one was 6 months smaller than the age she admits children at. It was a huge relief for us, and we can never thank her enough for all the help she has extended and the safe and loving environment she has given both my kids. She also has a contemporary learning schedule which mixes free play and learning so seamlessly that kids strengthen their fundamentals while having fun at it. We started when my son was 16 months and he's now 5 and ready to graduate for kindergarten life. He learned so much during his stay, including writing his name, closing mouth when eating, hands are for caring, etc. Ms Rasu hosts once a year party, and it's such a hit for both kids and adults. We get to know the other parents and kids during the party and of course kids don't eat as they're having so much fun. We get updates on food, poop, sleep and behavior (food and bad) for the day. My son loves the treasure chest and sticker reward system. The last few years, I was happy we had a consistent group of kids that we saw from little one to walking / talking kids. Aama daycare has been a godsend for my family!!! My son started going there since he was 1.5 years old until recently. We have been attending Aama Day Care almost 2 years when my son had 1 year old. No complains or concerns Before the daycare, we had a problem with a nap routine. Hovewer, my son learned there to sleep in a crib during his nap time. On weekends, for instance, we puts his books and his favorite toys in a bed and in 10 min he is sleeping. No tantrum in this regards Besides that, Aama Day Care promotes language development. He is communicates in English despite the fact that we don't speak with him in this language at home. The most important thing is that our relationship with Rasu is based on trust. I noticed that she is professional, loves her job, and very calm person. I don't ask her to report to me with the picture about activities they do during a day. When we were unable to get into our child's after school program, Aama's Family Daycare was the best decision we ever made! My son loved going to see Ms. Rasu each day after school. She made sure that the kids had a nutritious snack (more like a healthy home cooked meal)! She also made sure that my son always did his homework before going off to play. Aama Daycare is literally is a Mother's daycare. The word "Aama" means "Mother" in Nepali language and we found out Rashu literally is Aama for our 2.5 yr old son. We are very happy that we chose this daycare. She have been taking good care of our son since 9 months, and he grew up learning lots of amazing skills like artworks, sharing, shapes, colors, alphabets, numbers, games, kids yoga etc.. Aama Day Care is an ideal place for any children. All the basics are met.....they are safe, well fed, and loved. Then there are all the extras that Miss Rasu provides, like leading yoga sessions, which was a big selling point for our family. I was in a bind and needed to find daycare for my son ASAP and I was so stressed and worried about leaving him with someone who wasn't family. I was lucky to have found Aama daycare with Rasu. She was not the first person who I visited but I knew once we had an interview that she was the caretaker for my son. Upon first meeting I loved her peaceful energy and the way she engaged the children in her care. My son didn't want to leave when the initial interview was over and felt comfortable in her home and that helped with my decision to choose Aama daycare. He has been going there for about 3 months now and he has learned so much. He is 22 months old and now knows all his colors, numbers up to 10 and beginning his ABC's. He also was taught how to interact with others in a friendly and respectful way. Every day he is excited to go back and says each child's name on the way to the daycare because they are his friends. My son was also born preemie and has special dietary needs that Rasu has no problem accommodating. I would pay whatever I had to for this level of care and the environment Aama daycare provides for my son but the rates are very reasonable and we have been blessed to find Rasu and her business. read more

Literally nothing wrong to say about Aama daycare. My 3-year-old daughter has been going full-time for over 2 months now and she absolutely loves it. She comes home with songs in her head and she impresses me every day with her drawings and her letters. She cant wait to go back the next day and she often asks for Rasu and Suzie. Rasu and her team are doing an amazing job with the children. They are very patient and caring. I also love the fact they take time to write updates of what children eat over the day. We are so happy that we found Rasu of AAMA daycare; she cared for our son on a regular basis starting when he was 8 months old until now (he's almost 2 years old). We've only recently stopped using AAMA daycare on a regular basis because my husband and I decided it made more sense for me to try being a full time mom rather than having our son in daycare full time. We still plan to use AAMA daycare on a drop in basis going forward. We appreciate all the advise she has given us as we are first time parents and we've loved how supportive she has been with the decisions we've made on raising our son.
