One of the managers, I believe his name was Gabriel was extremely helpful when I came to have my transmission fluid exchanged on a car that has a closed transmission system (requires a special tool, can't be don't at auto zone). I had some concerns that my recently done 60k service done at the dealership should have included more then was done. He offered me to email him a copy of my work receipt from the dealership so he could look through it and tell me exactly what was done and what wasn't that should have been done. Gabriel and his team are AMAZING!!! I have had the worst luck with mechanics in Ventura County and so glad that I don't have to deal with that anymore. I stumbled across the shop when I was having trouble with my Hummers transmission and none of the GMC/Chevy dealerships could figure out what was wrong. Gabe and his team found the issue right away and even helped me deal with the dealership since my transmission was still under warranty. The service at this AAMCO is excellent! Had problems with my car and Chrys and his staff delivered more than expected. This may sound corny but I feel they are honest and fair guys to deal with. They walked me through the entire process, with updates along the way. I needed a stage two clutch installed into my Eclipse because I killed the stock one with too much boost.... hehe.. But Gabe was able to find me an awesome stage two clutch for a really good price and the car is my daily so I needed it quick and he got it done within a few days I couldn't believe how fast and convenient the service was. This is very good car repair shop. I walked inside and was able to speak with two employees within a couple of minutes. My concern turned out to not be a major problem. I think the sign of a reputable company is when a customer leaves feeling positive about the experience and you got something of value. AAMCO provided my vehicle with a transmission replacement. My car started acting funny when I was coming home from work today. I was able to get my vehicle to this AAMCO before anything detrimental happened. These guys are top notch!! They did a great job replacing the transmission on my sprinter van along with the struts and brakes.
