History

Established in 1995.

The owner Jon Rashid dates back to 1969 when first hired as a technician to repair and set up copiers. Moved into sales after two years with the company and opened his own business in 1976. Operated a company called Americopy for 14 years in Detroit until 1988. Continued selling copiers while opening a Dino's Pizzaria for three years then opened Aamtech in 1995.

The one was doing something on a computer while the other just watched. That's bad service. Prices are pretty high there. I'm an in store kind of person, but know I can get a lot of items cheaper online. I have used their print service and it's good.

There's good selection and prices but there's never enough staff and everyone seems miserable.read more

DIGITAL DOCUMENT STORE…read moreI came in more than a month ago to have your company quote me for a Play Mat that I wanted to have duplicated and I have to say that I am sorely disappointed with the level of service and professionalism that I have experienced at your store. I have been working with Cherie who at first was answering emails and working with me on a regular basis but then the communication just stopped. I sent 2 emails asking for proofs on December 2nd and got no response until I took the time to pick up the phone and call 10 days later ( December 12th at ) and she wouldn't even take my call. I left a message asking her to call me back and she did not. Instead she sent me an email telling me that she would be returning my mat to me (at my request last Friday) and that she sent me email the previous week and has no idea what could have happened - to email - she sent - ....... I run a small business and do not have time to babysit people I am hiring to do a job for me. I used to be a graphic designer specializing in Print Layout and if I treated a client like this I would have been fired. I understand that the job is small because I am duplicating this to test my market and see if it will fly. I also have other playsets that I would like to do that for, would like to make lithographs, and I do some direct marketing myself so I could have been a repeat customer. May I remind you of the mission statement on your brand?: We want to help build a strong local business community. Have you noticed that customer service isn't what it used to be? At the Digital Document Store every single customer is important to us. Here, you're not a number; you're a real person with a name. In fact, we love it when you call us or stop in to visit. Alexander Farm Market and Greenhouses

This will be the second year I started coming here. I was told about Alexander's from several…read morepeople so they must be doing something right. They have a nice selection of plants, herbs and vegetables. One big thing I did notice this year was that they dropped the cell size of the vegetable saplings from 4 to 3 but the price stayed the same $1.99. A lot of places are still charging the same price for a 4 cell so keep that in mind. The plants looked really healthy this year so far. I love their Salad Bowls. I always pick up 2 or 3. It's great having access to fresh lettuce everyday. I also came looking for a couple Lemon Cypress trees. Sadly they don't carry them so that was a bit of a disappointment. We did leave with some herbs and vegetable plants though. TIP: Get here early in the season... The plants that they have in the first week or two of opening are a great deal for their size, a large 4" tomato plant will cost you less than $3.

Somewhere mid-summer, they move more into their indoor farm market, where they offer fresh seasonal produce, bakery and some dairy goods. It's fun to stop in and see what's offered!
