Update: Later discovered when scar biopsy was sent to lab Dr Glick also sent for "expert" opinion from someone higher up in the food chain, costing me an additional $400. In the 3 years since my original post I still have not found a healthcare provider willing to help with the pain, disfiguring scarring and systekm the ongoing sydtrmic to lessen my pain all my retirement savings and sold everything of any value. Have found this is nothing rare or difficult to understand. It's just that AZ docs follow a united code of silence and will not diagnose, document or treat had some luck with my own research - (including handheld microscope) and suggested treatments found on websites of others suffering galvanic corrosion of orthopedic plants. read more

Dr Glick was recommended by my primary physician for a sore on my shoulder. A biopsy was taken where a Basil Cell cancer was discovered. Dr Glick performed the surgery. The cancer is gone and completely removed. I found the office, PA's, and Dr Glick very professional and friendly. I give this dermatologist a 2-star review because I never felt like I got adequate advice from their doctors, and the last time I went in I was not allowed in the office because their thermometer was not working and kept reading 100 degrees F. However, it was hot outside because it is the dead middle of summer in Arizona. So, I am really displeased with their refusal of service when I took the time out of my work-day. I only went to get my prescription refilled... -This place relies heavily on their patient population which is retried individuals who may have developed skin cancer based on my observations of the waiting room every time I have been here. read more

First of all I must mention that I am a retired Physician Assistant. I have been a patient of Dr. Glicks for over 20 years. He is one of the most knowledgable and caring Physician I have ever encountered. He and his excellent staff have been taking care of my Psoriasis since forever. Being a Physician Assistant about 2-2/12 I started seeing Erin Semour PA-C. She has been excellent. If she has a question she consults with Dr. Glick. Dr. Seymour is great, professional and detailed on the way she explains everything. She is very compassionate and really takes the time to listen to your concerns and questions. My psoriasis was covering 20 percent of body And now is almost completely gone for the first time in 10 years!! My wife and I always have annual dermatology scans, but have not gone to the same provider two years in a row, until now. This was our first time at AAP and we will be back next year. I waited 2 months to see the dermatologist. The day before my appointment I got a call to confirm. A few his later they called to cancel as the Dr. Was not going to be in. They wanted me to see the P.A. I said I waited 2 months for him so I wanted him. They said I would have to wait another 1 1/2 months. I used to work for a doctors office and when this happened we would have dr create a spot for them. I asked to team to the office manager. She was not a bit nice and no help. The scheduler was rude and in a sassy way said "lady do you want an appointment or not"? So there is nothing you can do and nobody to talk to. No thanks read more

My doctor recommended Dr Glichs office to have a spot checked out on my collarbone. I started out with the physicians assistant and he was great. Calmed me down and assured me that they would take care of me as best they can. I did have to have a small outpatient surgery which went very well. They were professional but funny to keep my nerves down during my time there. I did end up having to go back a week later to get more removed and saw Dr Glich this time. He was great at answering all my questions and my husbands as well. Ensured me that we were going to take care of this together and I left feeling like I am in great hands. Will recommend them to anyone in the east valley who needs a dermatologist. read more

As a courtesy to the practice, I wanted to follow up on my one star review. Although the office was unable to service my primary concerns regarding the acne scars on my face, they did prescribe me cream for small circular rashes I developed on my legs and thighs. Several months after having used the cream for a few weeks, I realized I had zero rashes on my legs. They have all disappeared with no scarring, and I have not had to use the cream since. I raise them two stars because the product they prescribed was cheap, safe and effective. I can't raise them past three stars because what I had not discussed in my initial review was that the front office messed up. They called me and without verifying my identity told me that the biopsy was noncancerous. Needless to say, that call was not meant for me. I then received a bill for the biopsy that they did not perform on me because they failed to communicate with their lab that they had attached the wrong facesheet to another patient's file. It's possible that the office was just having a bad day. I get it. We all have bad days. read more

We scheduled an new patient appointment, completed the paperwork online, arrived early and waited. We were roomed 15 min after our appointment was scheduled then waited and waited. 50 min after our appointment was scheduled we asked if we should reschedule. We were told that there had been an emergency and there were still 2 other patients ahead of us. I understand emergencies, they happen and are not avoidable. I don't understand not communicating with us about the delay once the emergency was addressed. read more

I am so disappointed to be leaving a review with such few stars. Nurse Practitioner Erin Seymour is absolutely amazing, and personally deserves five stars. My family has been at this practice for a couple years now.Erin is kind and takes her time to explain things to your full understanding. She loves her job and creates this wonderful atmosphere because of it. Unfortunately, I have made the decision to leave the practice today because of the incompetent staff AAP employs. On numerous occasions, they confused myself with my family members which prevented me from accessing my prescriptions. These mistakes could have been avoided with simple reading and verification. When addressed with their mistakes, the staff was rude and dismissive. The front office staff does not do the medical staff justice. They are the reason I've decided to leave. read more

I had a most unpleasant one time visit at AAP Derm. The person who made the appointment was rude and after arriving on time for my appointment I was forced to wait two hours to even see Mr Glick. I was made so embarrassed by Mr Glick when I asked what the cost would be for the procedures he was going to do. It took three times for the medical assistant to get an answer from the office mgr to my simple request. Then Mr Glick proceeded to start removing the blemish WITHOUT any pain medication. I said I need something to help deal with the pain. This was the most unpleasant experience at any doctors office I have ever had. I would NEVER go to this office ever again. read more

My hubby was referred to Dr. Glick for eval for melanoma. He had his initial appointment with Dr. Glick and was very pleased with him. He was thorough, explained what was going to happen moving forward and scheduled his appt. for excisional biopsy. The results came back faster than expected and the day before his stitches were due to come out, he found out it was melanoma stage 0. Dr. Glick had him come in to get the sutures removed and immediately scheduled him to come back to get clear margins. I have to say that Glick is smart, personable, kind, compassionate and darned funny. He personally called my husband with his biopsy results. He had me laughing all throughout the procedures and didn't skip a beat. His sutures were clean straight. He was focused and fast. His office staff is pleasant and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone, because folks... this is as good as it gets! Top notch health care with comic relief. read more

I am so upset with Dr Glick! I went to him the past year for a rare form of psoriasis that I have been fighting for over 38years. I was happy I was off of my medicine but without crème my skin breaks out rapidly. I ask him several times in person and then called the office two times telling them my skin DOES NOT tolerate ointment for some odd reason but does well with cremes. Dr Glick insisted on ointment and now I am 3 times worse,swollen,sore & bleeding. I would no longer recommend him as a dermatologist and looking for a new one. read more
