I shared with his assistant and she removed the sutures and said that's all. Dr D.H. never came into see how everything was going with the rest of my body. In all my visits I never had a body check other than asked if I had any thing of interest to be looked at. Those spots were sprayed and no follow up to check at another appointment to see how they did. I went to Dr.D.H. to see a Doctor in Dermatology leaving my Dermatologist of thirty years thinking I wanted a doctor to check me out. Unfortunately he wasn't as thorough as she was with inspecting my body for everything. It's sad to say a friend of mine told me "all Saguaro Dermatology wants to do is cut." Kinda makes sense now.

Dr. Thosani is not only beautiful on the outside, but even more so on the inside. She has an incredible bedside manner, takes her time to thoroughly explain everything, and makes sure you understand the "why" behind the treatment plan. I was especially impressed when I needed staples in my head. I was hesitant at first, but she carefully explained why staples would be better than stitches in my case. She even drew out a diagram to show how staples would allow for better healing and hair growth compared to sutures. That level of care and attention truly went above and beyond. Everyone in the office was so kind and welcoming. The entire staff made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Her medical assistant, Gio, was absolutely fabulous as well. Dr. Thosani is knowledgeable, skilled, serious when she needs to be, yet warm and even funny -- she made the entire experience much easier than I expected. As someone who works in the medical field, I know how rare it is to find a provider who combines exceptional skill, genuine compassion, and true passion for what they do. They billed my insurance, and insurance paid. I verified with my insurance company that the money paid was indeed for a procedure. Sure enough, they billed my insurance for a procedure that I did not have. Once I contacted the office about the mistake in the charge, they questioned that I was telling the truth and said they would have to verify with the provider. I asked how she would remember since it had been over a month since she had seen me and had seen many patients since then. No response. I messaged with them multiple times. They kept telling me that they would need to check with the provider. I gave them over a week before I contacted them again, and now, they are no longer responding to my messages. They owe me $130.00. If you choose to use them, be cautious of their billing and make sure you get paperwork BEFORE leaving the office to make sure you're not being charged for treatment you did not receive.

Whether you are trying to schedule, reschedule, or ask a question, you are either left on hold indefinitely or forced to leave voicemails that go unanswered. When you finally do interact with the front desk staff, they are incredibly rude and dismissive. To make matters worse, Dr. DeLuca's bedside manner is terrible. She is incredibly condescending, rude, and dismissive. A visit to the dermatologist shouldn't feel this stressful or unwelcoming. The only positive experience I had at this office was with Dr. Slobodny. If I could only see her, and not deal with the rest of the office staff, I would remain a patient at this practice. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a practice that respects its patients and maintains basic professional standards.
