My husband and I would like to just say THANK YOU AARON for being an awesome photographer and for capturing wonderful moments at our wedding .we were researching an all in one photographer and videographer in the OC area but it was tough finding one that suited our budget and picture style. I asked a friend and she referred me to Aaron Alvarez who had previously worked with her for her wedding. I researched his work and decided to book an appointment to see more of his work and how he goes about preparing his photography. I chose him because of the style of his photography, his professionalism, and how he is truly a master at his craft. He took beautiful engagement pictures at a location of our choosing and above all, he captured the most awesome and beautiful pictures of our wedding. Once it was close to the wedding date, Aaron was able to work with our wedding day-of timeline and incorporated his day-of timeline with ours. If I had any questions he was able to immediately answer the phone and provide me with answers. He truly does have great experience and I am so glad that we chose him for our photography/videography. I can't wait to see our video

Aaron and his team were incredible! We had hired them to take photos and video for our wedding on short notice. We absolutely loved the photos from our wedding. Since we had a Star Wars themed wedding, we had used lightsabers in our photos. Aaron took the time to edit the photos in our wedding album so that the lightsabers had that special glow. We also really loved our wedding videos of the ceremony and reception. It was beautifully captured and we will be able to cherish our special day for years to come. Aside from the great work Aaron does, he is also easy to work with, friendly, and fun. If ever we need a photographer again, we will go definitely go to Aaron.

Not only is the pricing super fair, but the picture quality and customer service are amazing. Paying for and booking my appointment was super quick and simple. I even booked less than 48 hours in advance. Once I got to my appointment, Aaron immediately made me super comfortable and was very easy to talk to. He is a very kind and professional photographer who evidently knows what he is doing, and caters to your wants and needs. I sometimes struggle to smile/pose naturally for pictures, and he very comfortably and easily corrected me and helped me get AMAZING headshots. I had such a great experience with Aaron. I was doing my very first photoshoot for a pageant so I was nervous but Aaron put me at ease. He was patient with me and also told me about anything that needed to be adjusted or fixed so that I could take a great photo. The session was really affordable and you get a lot out of it for the value. He is also very fast with editing and retouching so I didn't have to worry about waiting for weeks or months to get the photos back! When the photos came back and there were some things I wanted to be fixed and he absolutely delivered. I highly recommend !!

Aaron Alvarez is an excellent photographer and I highly recommend him. From setting up an appointment to the delivery of the photos, everything was fluid and outstanding. Setting up an appointment was simple. I chose the photo package, date and time, and received a confirmation with all the details. I also received reminders as well as details on where the studio was, and where to park. Aaron's studio is in a historic building among other artists. It is open and well-lit, and is tastefully furnished. Aaron was very welcoming and he showed me the ordering process. Everything was straight to the point, with no hidden fees. In the studio, Aaron explained the process and showed me the various backdrops and lights. I noticed that he uses new and high-tech equipment which simplifies the process, while still maintaining good outcome. Aaron would stop to show me the shots and already I could tell they were going to be good. He's very accommodating and allowed me to change my outfits a couple of times. He also suggested a few poses that elongated my neck and hid some unwanted features -- which I was grateful for. The online gallery was ready within a day and I was very impressed with the photos. There were almost 80 photos, which I could download without watermark for social media. I also chose 3 to retouch (comes with the photo package that I selected) and I ordered a couple other extra photos. They were ready within a couple days. All downloaded with ease online. Overall I'm very satisfied with Aaron and I don't hesitate to recommend him to all my friends. I'm looking forward to my next photoshoot!

If your a looking for an excellent photographer, Aaron is your guy! He captured amazing pictures for my daughter's quinceañera and the turn around time for editing the pictures was quick for us to pick and make an album. We loved the work he did and hired him again for a maternity shoot and again within a couple days he completed editing the pictures for us to select and create another album. Aaron & his team were super professional from the start. He is very organized with setting up meetings, payments, contracts, being responsive, etc. This is so helpful as a client! We hired Aaron for videography & a photo booth for our wedding. Aaron and his team captured all of the important moments and details for our wedding. The biggest reason we chose Aaron was due to the length of his wedding videos. While a 10 min highlights video is fine, this wasn't really something we wanted to pay tons of money for. Our wedding video was over an 1 hr long which may be long to some but perfect for us. The Photobooth was also a big hit with our guests and a reasonable price compared to most places. Overall, I definitely recommend going with Aaron for any services. His professionalism and organization speaks for itself! read more

My first experience with Aaron was a studio photo shoot i purchased for my friend as a pregnancy photo shoot approximately 2 years ago. Loved how the photos came out. I got my engagement photos taken by Aaron about a year and a half ago. It was so easy to work with Aaron. He was quick to respond and open to my ideas about location of the photo shoot. The photos came out so beautiful. His prices were reasonable as well. I went back to take my pregnancy photo shoot with Aaron approximately 1 year ago. Totally loved the photos as well. Found this place through groupon and I'm so glad I tried this place out! Aaron was friendly and didn't mind all the questions I had asked either. I also took photos with my grandma and didn't feel rushed at all. He was patient with her, was willing to try different colored backgrounds, and was more than happy to take the pictures of all the poses I wanted specifically as well! I had my headshots taken with Aaron in July and in a few days he had the photos ready for my selection. During the shooting session he was so professional and friendly. I tried his service with a groupon package but that did not compromise on his level of service, speed of photo delivery as well as photo quality. The final digital retouched headshots were ready in a week which was very quick! I am very impressed with the photos and I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends! I found a post on Facebook for senior pictures for my son we called Aaron Alvarez Photography and he was such a sweetheart very professional answered our questions and scheduled our appointment. The day of the photo shoot Aaron was on time, professional and the photo shoot was amazing my son loved it. Aaron was extremely easy to work with. I wanted headshots taken, and I was able to book my session easily online on his website. His studio is located in a cool old building in downtown Santa Ana. We specialize in luxury wedding photography, quinceañera coverage, and premium professional headshots for clients in Orange County and greater Southern California. Our studio is located in the Historic Santora Building in Downtown Santa Ana's Artist Village, and we serve bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) clients throughout the region. What sets us apart is the experience around the images, not just the images themselves. Headshot clients receive same-day delivery. Wedding and event galleries are delivered within two weeks. Every booking goes through a structured client process that keeps communication clear and expectations aligned from first inquiry to final gallery. History

Established in 2015.

My story with photography started in the 1980s, in a high school darkroom where I fell in love with black-and-white film. What began as a passion became a craft, and the craft became a career. After decades of refining my technique and client process, I opened a dedicated studio in 2015 inside the Historic Santora Building in Downtown Santa Ana, a space that reflects the creative environment I have always wanted to work in. Today, alongside my studio partners Jorge and Steve, we serve couples, families, and professionals who want imagery that holds up long after the moment has passed.

Meet the Business Owner: Aaron A.

I am Aaron Alvarez, a photographer, technologist, and business builder. Photography pulled me in during a high school film workshop in the 80s and never let go. I bring a degree in Photography and a degree in Computer Science to every client engagement; two disciplines that rarely exist in the same person, and that combination shapes how I run my business. Every workflow is designed to be efficient, clear, and worth your time. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish, which matters deeply when working with families for whom these events carry real cultural weight. If you care about details and expect professionalism at every step, we will work well together.

It's very simple to book on their site, they touch base with you before hand, are very helpful during the session and are very quick with the turnaround of edited photos. My daughter and her fiancé decided to elope while in Santa Ana. Since they requested no family be present I hired Aaron to capture their ceremony and do fun pictures afterwards. We have used Aaron twice now for family pics and both times we have been so happy with the results! I'm not very comfortable in front of the camera but he's great at giving direction. We get so many compliments on our photos! read more
