This firm took $10,000 from my family during the most critical time of my life, and failed me when it mattered most. The attorney handling my criminal case was unprofessional and disengaged, forcing me to hire better representation at additional cost. Because of that issue, I was told I'd have to replace my family law attorney as well (despite having no problem with them) and would get no refund, even though the firm refused to continue representing me. I never signed a retainer agreement for the criminal matter, and when I requested a refund, they stopped responding. In my opinion, they lack professionalism, ethics, and basic respect for clients. This firm will take your money at first meeting and never communicate with you again one on one. I thought the purpose of a criminal defense attorney was to defend however no defense was ever put forward. In fact many times I was only allowed to speak to the receptionist, 6 months I never talked to Delgado who I hired the first day at our meeting. I had to practically beg for a phone call back. After many attempts of leaving messages speaking with the receptionist being threatened by the receptionist I finally called off hours figuring at least my message will get through to somebody and if ignored at least there will be a record of it. The only reason I received a phone call back was because I called purposely off hours and left a message with the answering service so at least it was recorded. Unfortunately before I realized what was actually happening I was forced to hire another lawyer to put up a proper defense. The more power an attorney has, the deeper their foot in city, county, politics should make a person leery. Things could go either way for you. I can't say either way about Aaron Delgado except I had potential critical evidence to help him in a case and he didn't ever follow up. Evidence which may have exonerated his client. Sadly, after 18 months his client passed away. I did call Mr. Delgado today and he didn't like my question why did t you look further into what I had to protect your client. He called me belligerent and stated he didn't like my tone. I was neither aggressive or angry or threatening. What he didn't like was inquiry. I would never trust this lawyer. Hi client died. Before.. Couldn't stand him at first because he was on the other team LOL!!! Now... He has earned my respect because he is just hands down just VERY good at his job! He also has a very supportive team that "gets it done" to boot so there's no rest for the wicked even on his day off! I used to dislike this man a great deal because well... the other party I was in a case with hired him, and he was the most persistent hard nosed lawyer I had ever had to deal with personally in 40 years and I hope that never happens again. He had me questioning my own recollection of events, my name, if the earth was round or flat, and just had my head spinning when I walked out of that deposition. He was that good and I'm pretty sure now that he went easy on me that day. Take it from someone who's speaking from experience... you do not want this guy on the other side. You want him on yours! Terrible experience. This firm took $5k and then withdrew from my case after my last payment. I was devastated. They refused to refund my money and I had to sell items to fund another attorney. I do not recommend this firm to anyone. David Damore made fun and jokes about my illness and I have a hard copy of him referring to me as a paranoid schizophrenic. I am sick.
