The only person at the accident who was conscious or capable of answering questions was the Uber driver and as a result the police report reflected ONLY the statement of the Uber driver who lied about the crash he caused. I had no intention of securing an attorney, knowing my sister was not at fault. However, once I saw the police report, I realized I would need to get an attorney, fast. I needed to return home to Connecticut but needed to find an attorney from Florida before leaving.. Unfortunately, I selected William Chanfrau, Jr.; a rude, arrogant, dishonest, and unprofessional lawyer. He made promises he did not keep, refused to accept my recollection of the accident, and treated me with little to no respect. I could not work with this man! Eventually I went to another attorney with whom I was able to establish a respectful rapport. I was grateful to be listened to, trusted, and cared for. He was with a large, well know legal firm, but he took such good care of me for which I am so grateful. " did you ever once try cleaning your shower?" , my attorney asked. "Nah" , said the pimp. After his shakedown fell apart, Rotstein begged me for just $5000 to avoid court. I told him I would go to his parking lot and light $10,000 on fire in front of his shop before I gave him a penny. They dropped the case right before our first appearance in front of a judge. Recently I reached out to a staffing company for placement in a employment opportunity. I've had…read moresome problems hindering my chances in employment choices, so I decided to create an account at Express Staffing in Daytona Beach. I filled out an application submitted my employment history, resume, and submitted it all to the agency in hopes of being placed at a temporary employment opportunity with the hopeful opportunity to transition into a permanent and possible full time employee after a 90 day probationary period. It turns out though that at Express Staffing the individuals that submit and apply for possible staffing chances are highly profiled and judged before the individual even submits interest in working with the agency. I do not recommend any individual with a background, gaps in employment history, or anyone job seeking for a second chance opportunity to work hard and prove themselves worthy and an asset use Express Staffing. Although I am highly capable and qualified for most of the job listings on their open opportunities job search board, I was not even given the chance to speak, interview, or anything because I was told that because of gaps in my employment history the agency chose to not move forward with my application! I've never been denied opportunity for such an odd lame excuse and biasedly cast aside. In my opinion it was very unprofessional and cowardly and I suggest anyone seriously searching for opportunities to work in a job placement staffing agency atmosphere for a warehouse, housekeeping, or labor situation, not waste your time with this very fake and judgemental joke of an agency. It makes me wonder how a place like this has its business doors open and how they even have an office with staff, because in all honesty they're picking, choosing, and judging before you even complete they're process of application and interviewing an individual. I don't want to see fellow job seeking citizens in our community go to this place thinking something positive is going to come out of the encounter they have with this agency! Instead you leave upset, broken down, defeated, and unemployed after wasting time with their protocols while they judge and excuse you from opportunity.

As an out of town family member, I needed someone to take care of my elderly mother who was…read moredischarged from the ER after a fall and was returning home to live alone. Prior to her fall she was completely independent. I needed to find someone that could assist her in her home with everyday activities as she was unable to do very much for herself while recovering from the fall. In Home Health Care was ordered by the physician but did not cover the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) which are routine activities people do every day without assistance. There are six basic ADLs: eating, bathing, getting dressed, toileting, transferring, and continence. I was referred to BrightStar Care by a Social Services Case worker in the hospital. I reached out to BrightStar Care (Greater Volusia County Area of FL) to speak to someone and the Director of Operations, Masha, answered the phone and answered ALL of my questions, which were comprehensive, as I had need and experience in the past for other loved ones with these types of services. Masha arranged for her Director of Nursing, Noah, and Scheduler, Terah, to come to my mother's home and the four of us sat down together and discussed specifically what BrightStar Care could do for my mother and what our expectations of BrightStar Care were. My main concern was that I wanted to be sure that any caregivers assigned to assist my mother were not only competent but trustworthy! Masha does this type of in- home interview with her team members to determine the needs of the client as well as assess the client's physical and cognitive needs in order for Masha to best assist her, with feedback from Noah and Terah, to pair up what BrightStar Care hopes to be a good match up for both caregiver and client! Noah even went to the trouble to purchase, hand deliver and install on his own time, a hand-held shower attachment which he assured me would greatly benefit not only the assigned caregiver but my mother as well when she returned to independence! The next day, my mother was first introduced to Wendy and thoroughly enjoyed her! Because Wendy had a prior vacation planned that was to take place during the period of time my mother needed assistance, Masha assigned Katie to cover for Wendy while she was away. Katie came out on day two to assist my mom. Fortunately, I was present when Katie came to meet my mother and assist her with the plan of care that was implemented and reviewed by my mother, myself and Noah. Katie immediately began to take care of my mom like she was her own mother! What a lovely, caring spirit she displayed. I familiarized Katie with what needed to be done while my mother went to bed as she had been to her PCP that morning and was still in considerable pain. My mother's PCP ordered some x-rays for my mother and while I was with Katie and my mom, the PCP office called me later that morning and informed me that my mother needed to be taken directly to the ER again as the x-ray had revealed a life-threatening condition that required immediate intervention. I informed Katie that I was sorry and that I had to take my mom immediately to the ER. Katie, without hesitation, began to help me get my mother out of bed and into a wheelchair for transport. Katie continued to reassure my mother that everything was going to be okay! Katie ensured that should it become necessary, we collected adequate items for a possible overnight stay, for my mom. I felt so comfortable having just met Katie and seeing her caring nature and straight forward and considerate spirit, I asked Katie to remain in my mother's home and continue to do the cleaning, laundry and grocery storage we had previously discussed that needed to be done. Katie had already begun preparing a meal for my mother and stopped and cleaned up and bagged up in the freezer the remainder of the food products that needed storage. I told Katie to lock the door on her way out. Katie gave me her cell phone and asked me to keep her updated as to my mother's outcome. She was genuinely concerned for my mom. What a wonderful care giving spirit! My mother was admitted to the hospital and I no longer required the services of BrightStar Care as my mother was scheduled to discharge to a skilled nursing facility upon discharge for rehabilitation. I returned home to a cleaned up home! Even payment of the bill was simple. My mother had authorized any charges be applied to her credit card so even payment for services was effortless! I would HIGHLY recommend this company for care for a loved one should they need ADL assistance on an hourly, daily, weekly basis or even 24/7 care. They are very reasonably priced and provided superior care and services in the short time I interacted with both the team leaders and their caregivers! Thank you BrightStar Care!
