I would give this place 15 stars if I could. My absolute piece of shi* box AMG G63 sadly blew a piston, the transmission went bad, and it overheated melting basically the entire engine block, only 20k miles :(. I towed it in with a Range Rover and gave it to a very nice and professional man by the name of Aaron and his crew. They got it all fixed and running with a new engine and transmission in less than a month. 15/10 rating. read more

I was referred to Aaron's Auto Group by a friend at least two years ago. I couldn't be happier. First, let me say that I am a female. When he wasn't working outside of home my dad was a jack-of-all-trades at home and I learned a lot from him as I was growing up; including basic car mechanics. What I still reflect on is how he commanded respect when he took his car in for servicing. He didn't have to say a word. He just watched, waited and only commented if necessary. What was obvious to me is, they took him seriously and expected to be accountable to him. That lesson has always stayed with me. Now, we all know that most modern-day servicing at dealerships and many private auto repair companies don't allow you to "hang out" and watch what they're doing, (they have service advisors who are buffers between you and the mechnics) perhaps, because the mechanics couldn't get their work done otherwise (understandable) but, getting a straight answer or being treated like you have a reasonable thought in your brain, especially a woman, isn't their forte'. Going to Aaron's Auto Group is comfort. They look you in the eyes, they speak to you as if your problem matters to them, they consult with you, they are respectful, they keep you informed, their prices are reasonable, they are actually happy when they see your satisfaction. How much better can it get than that? In addition, you can talk to the boss, he's almost always present. Mike, the owner, authentically believes that you reap what you sow and that drives his business ethic. Art and the rest of the crew are super people. I have no doubt they value all their customers but I want to emphasize to women who have had negative experiences at other mechanic shops that you can bring your cars to Aaron's in Sun Valley and get great service. I dropped my car off here to get fixed after someone hit both left doors. While my car was there, they put 2000 miles on my car. I guess because I'm a girl they didn't expect that I'd notice. The minute I brought my car home pieces of the door started to fall off. Then the door swung open when I was merging on the freeway, fucking terrifying. Also, now my physical key can't manually open the door. So my kid locked himself in the car and I had to call the police and AAA. It was the scariest thing... basically they destroyed by brand new car. My car barely has 50000 miles on it. :( also, single mom of two... this place is disgusting. Please learn from my mistake and go to a more honorable shop. One that's accountable for the work they do and tries their best to do their best work. This place is not that. They micky mouse fix your car to get your money and the work is disgraceful. read more

I have a 2003 Ford Expedition with 300,000 miles on it. Within the last year I have had the Engine, transmission, catalytic convertor and computer replaced on this car. Mike has been great, working with me to resolve my car's issues. He has saved me thousands of dollars, every time I get the bill it's a fraction of what other shops have quoted me. It's a junk yard, don't expect dealership service, it may take longer and your car won't be shiny when you pick it. I was referred to this shop from a colleague at work who's always had his cars repaired here throughout the years. I am leery & distrustful of auto repair shops and mechanics in general, given the nature of their business..and as a female, I am even more at a disadvantage. After 2 repair shops failed to fix my Benz' engine, I decided to take my co-worker's advice and brought my car in to Aaron's. BEST DECISION EVER! ! Mike was very professional, helpful, and most importantly, industriously Efficient. I explained to him what the other two previous repair shops failed to do and expressed my aggravations at having lost an exorbitant amount of time AND money through this distressful car repair process. Mike was very understanding and gave me an incredibly reasonable quote, which I appreciated greatly! Roughly 2.5 weeks later, I picked up my Benz and it was running fabulously again! ! It's now been 4 months since Mike repaired my car and I couldn't be happier with the results! Thank God for Aaron's Auto Group! We were promised the following in Sept 2015, for a 450SL, that needed restoration 1. A new engine. 2. A rebuilt transmission 3. A brand new interior 4. It painted to our color specifications. First, a new engine? Nope. Same engine, they did zero work on it, and only steam cleaned it. Then lied and said it was a new engine. Fortunately, we wrote all the serial numbers down. They never touched the transmission and lied about it being perfect. It's still the same slip monster as when we delivered the car. They had the car 3 months before they even lifted a finger to do any work, and only after receiving 12000 dollars from us. All we got was a paint job. We had to buy the parts! we spent 8000 dollars to buy parts they WOULDN'T INSTALL. Beware of Mike the owner. He is a pathological liar. He lies, then contradicts his own lies, then lies to cover his lies. When last week, when we finally couldn't take it anymore, we caught him trying to take parts OFF THE CAR AND TRYING TO SABOTAGE THE ENGINE. We had to twice stop him. We post this as a warning to others. You will pay for work he does not do. During this same period, I brought my Toyota truck in for an engine rebuild that cost me $2200 in cash. I was told it would be a complete rebuild. All I got was the head gaskets replaced and a steam cleaning. I had to take the car to another shop, to get the actual work done. In addition to that, and as I always write the mileage down before delivering any car for repair, they apparently used my truck for TWO WEEKS as his own run around truck. putting 80 miles a week on it. This company "Aaron Auto Group" has been business for close to 40 years !!!!. It can't get much better. It is "Family owned''. It doesn't get any better. Take a look at the other reviews, I am not alone. "MIKE" runs everything". Albert is the other brother who is very sweet. "Dad" started the Company in 1976. "Art"is like a brother who makes sure your car is picked up in a timely matter so they can start the work along with other very important responsibilities ASAP!. But "MIKE" is the "MAN". I call Mike my Silver FOX!. He is beautiful inside and out!, always professional and kind and very well know in Los Angeles County. PS: A Race Car Driver, so he know car's. I can go on and on but I will stop. He worked with my insurance company and made sure i got the best deal. He took the time!. This is "OLD SCHOOL CUSTOMER SERVICE". These guys were a total RIP OFF! I paid them $1,700 to buy a replacement motor for my Ford Escape Hybrid. First they tried to put a regular motor in, not one from a hybrid. I explained to them that it would not work and indeed it did not. They played with the car for 2 months, telling me they were losing money on the job because it was not working. Then they put another motor and it was a clacking mess and they kept telling me it was a fine motor and it was my car's fault it did not work right. After I gave up on them I looked at the car and noticed that they had put only water in both coolant systems and forgot to attach the electric coolant pump power plug, used and old nasty dirty air cleaner. Three months later I have a barely running car with a bad oil leak that will no doubt fail soon and I will have to junk it or put a third motor in. Their mechanics are a joke and a always fouling up and everyone there blames everyone else. Mike (the owner) and his sidekick Art will tell you what ever they think will make you happy and get your money. Stay away from them they are BAD NEWS! i had my transmission replaced by these guys, they did a great job and the charges was very reasonable. if you think your car is hopeless, give these guys a try. they'll find you the part that you need and they will install them. they'll do it to any type or brand of car. i saw a jaguar and a range rover being repaired there! just look for mike. read more

Purchased a engine from them with specific miles, VIN, etc. This is not what they sent. What they sent was not only a blown engine it did not match what was purchased. They also tried to sell the same engine with matching VIN, miles, etc to someone else later. After searching the VIN they claimed to sell me it was discovered this engine was not only still in service it had more miles than what they were marketing. So they are marketing/selling an engine they dont even own and substituting it for blown engines, with different VINS to multiple people. This is criminal FRAD. They also promised to honor the warranty and took the engine back but did not return my money. In fact they kept my credit card and later charged more money without my consent or knowledge. read more

I ended up selling my wrecked car to these guys for salvage. They paid me $800 more than any other salvage yard would. They also quoted me $3,800 to FIX the car, as opposed to the auto body shop that quoted us $10-15K...in short, the prices were the best. I called around.
