He installed a new garage door opener, did all our exterior lights (beautiful), installed our overhead garage storage racks, replaced deck planks, painted a wall, rewired in wall speakers, replaced bad LED can lights, fixed wall imperfections due to bad drywall, and fixed our seal on our front door. Doug at HHS is professional, very price competitive when he doesn't have to be because he's awesome, and knows just about everything about anything. When we were given the quote it was for $145 an hour with no mention of any "additional fees". When the gentleman came to do the job he was a pleasure to work with and did a great job!! We have no complaints on that part. The problem came when the bill was received and it was hundreds more than what we had anticipated. When discussing with the owner this is what we were told. Plumber is $150 an hour not $145. There was an additional $45 and hour for a young man to pick up concrete and collect tools. We had to pay for drive time to and from the house. There was a jackhammer fee. And we had to pay for them to clean out the truck . Which consisted of half a barrel of concrete and about 10 feet of pipe. We feel that should have been shared when given the quote, not after the fact. I suggest you ask about these fees before confirming an appointment.
