The day after inspecting the yard Scott sent us a beautiful quote describing in detail every thing he was going to do and even included pictures of the areas of concern. The next day Scott and his crew (who were very professional and courteous ) came and took out two pine trees, treated 6 trees, trimmed a huge oak and fertilized some bushes, all in one day in extreme heat. My yard was over-landscaped by the previous owners and the driveway has a carport so it's not the most accessible space. Ex-Tree came and took it all out in a few hours and also removed other yard waste we had from our DYI plant removals. The crew quick and careful, cleaned up well and not even a single flower in my yard was bent. I've been worried about that pear tree breaking and with the yews, depleting the soil around it. Schroeder charged $147.75 delivery fee for the 5 minutes I am from Plantscape. Then charged another $135 labor for 30 minutes. I spent more on the planting of the tree than I did for the actual tree. Plantscape told us he would let us know the charges prior to coming out. He did not. When he called, he said he had to plant the next day or it would have to wait until fall. It was our fault for not getting more information but felt like he could have explained his cost prior to us getting the bill and really felt like we were put on the spot to get it planted immediately.
