Ex-Tree came and took it all out in a few hours and also removed other yard waste we had from our DYI plant removals. The crew quick and careful, cleaned up well and not even a single flower in my yard was bent. I've been worried about that pear tree breaking and with the yews, depleting the soil around it. Now we're ready to rehabilitate the backyard and make it safe and functional. Ex-Tree competitively prices services and offers solutions, not just ala carte services. I have already recommended them to friends, and now that I can see into my neighbor's yards and see their trees, will be recommending them to my neighbors.

He quoted a price and never came to do the job. Many months went by after numerous calls to have Ellis come out to service and he never came. We eventually went with another service who came 2 days later and did a great job. This unreliable business is not to be recommended or used. Don't use.

The service they gave was fine. The cost was ridiculous. I had bought a tree from Plantscape…read more Plantscape outside sources the planting of the tree to Schroeder Landscape. The tree cost $197. Schroeder charged $147.75 delivery fee for the 5 minutes I am from Plantscape. Then charged another $135 labor for 30 minutes. I spent more on the planting of the tree than I did for the actual tree. Plantscape told us he would let us know the charges prior to coming out. He did not. When he called, he said he had to plant the next day or it would have to wait until fall. It was our fault for not getting more information but felt like he could have explained his cost prior to us getting the bill and really felt like we were put on the spot to get it planted immediately.

We walked around to check out the damage--I had a very large sweet gum tree branch break off. On its way down, it knocked off a bunch of other large branches, ending up hanging in the notch of the main trunk. Will walked around, pointed out what they would do, step by step, wrote me a detailed estimate, shook my hand again and told me when they would be back. The crew came back late Sunday afternoon (on Father's Day!) to take down the big branch hanging from the main trunk so that it wouldn't fall. They came back on Tuesday afternoon and finished the job. Now, comes the best part! I came home on Tuesday expecting to see a big mess of broken branches, twigs and leaves all over my patio. Instead, I found that the backyard had been cleared of all branches and leaves; they even cleaned off the walkway around the side of the house. It looked better than before!
