We were picked up on time from our hotel - or you can meet at the Flinders location which some people did. We had Kurt as our driver and he was super nice. He gave us some good tips on the various places were were visiting and we felt safe with him as a driver. Some tips overall - make sure you print your voucher for faster processing and bring warmer clothes for night - even on a hot summer day in Melbourne, we froze our booties at the Philip Island Penguin Viewing. Reason for a 4 star rating is the coach itself - it was a bit small and at one point, you drive for almost 2 hours on your way back from Philip Island to Melbourne. Try to sit in the very back or very front for a little extra leg room!

My ticket price included return journey and a meal and drink whilst at the penguin parade. I went on a night in october and did not appreciate how cold it would get so i would advise wrapping up warm and taking some blankets whilst outside on the viewing platform. It was amazing to see the little penguins come onto the beach at night and really was an unforgettable experience. My only downpoint was the guides were constantly telling to not take pictures as this can stun the penguins but i saw loads of toursists do it. I dont understand why they would do this. Really disrepectful! The journey is long but our bus driver was fab in pointing out local landmarks on the way out and letting us sleep on the way back.

I was the only Asian in the tourist group, so before I boarded the coach, she confirmed with me that I'm from Singapore and could understand English well. Throughout the journey, she introduced various landmarks and history behind them to us. She also took the initiative to take photos for us. Enough time was given for us to explore various scenic spots. Before arriving at the next destination, she also explained in detail the kind of terrain and environment to expect, so that we could self-assess, based on our individual physical fitness level, if it's suitable to participate in a certain activity. On the way, she played a wide selection of music to make the lengthy ride more enjoyable. It must be physically demanding to take care of so many tourists and driving at the same time. Our plane landed at Tullamarine a touch late at 7:20am and we joined the 10am tour from Fed Square. Our excellent guide, Geoff, was waiting for us clearly marked in the designated meeting place right on time (probably early as we'd just barely made it on time). We were delighted to learn that it was just us, but requested no customization as the overview was for what we were looking. We thought it was a great way to see the city and to learn a bit about the history of area in which we're staying. Geoff did a great job explaining to us the plan so we knew what to expect each time we got going again and keeping us safe (he kept saying that Melbourne not quite there yet in bike friendliness, but we found none of it as terrifying as riding in Los Angeles!). We thought it was well-planned and just enough information to be informative but not overwhelming. He sent us on our way with a Melbourne map with all of our stops marked on it for reference to make it easier to return to points of interest. The weather cooperated (didn't rain on us as was forecasted), and it was a lovely start to our honeymoon. I'd highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Geoff, for sharing your beautiful city with us :)

Our wonderful experience began even before the tour when we called to ask for help with directions. Michelle gladly took down the address of where we were staying and then send us personalized directions so we wouldn't get lost on the way. She even explain how to use the public transit system. Once on the tour, our guide Trine did an amazing job of showing us the city and personalizing the experience for our interests. Beyond biking, we had a delicious lunch and walked on foot through a few places we wanted to see. Trine even took pictures of us along the way and emailed them to us that evening along with a list of restaurant and bar recommendations from the tour. I did see some of the other bike tours in the city while we were going along, and I can honestly say they didn't look like they were having as much fun as we were. While this company is slightly more expensive than others, it's totally worth it. Do yourself a favor and book here.

We were a little late getting downstairs to meet him and caused the whole day to run a bit behind but he made sure we didn't miss anything. He took us to see koalas and kangaroos out in the open. He also took us somewhere we could hold and pet and feed birds. We stopped for tea and a snack at a lighthouse and it was such a beautiful day, it really turned out to be the best part of our entire Australian trip. The tour that we booked was the Great Ocean Road Drive and Fly tour. The flying part was phenomenal. I have never been in a plane that small, but we were clearly in good hands. The only thing I could possibly even think of complaining about would be that we ended up doing the aerial portion of the tour with another couple. It wasn't a big deal, but in the states, private has a very specific meaning, so we were a little surprised. All in all, I would totally recommend this group and if we ever return, I'm sure we would give them a call and see if we could book something again.

The special and cool aspect about this train is that you can choose to sit along the side with your legs dangling out. This way, you have an even better view of the stunning Dandenong mountain Ranges, full of ash trees and lush green foliage. We went from Belgrave to Emerald Lake Park, where there was a charming lake, little museum, cafe, and gift shop. I'm glad I had a chance to experience this!

Our tour guide was hilarious and gave us loads of facts about the programme and how its filmed. They also played the 1st ever episode of neighbours which i had never seen! We werent allowed access to the interior sets but we were shown around the outside sets and given plenty time to wander around and take photos. Then it was back on the bus to see the real ramsay street where the houses are. Obviously its not called ramsay street and i was amused to see the ramsay street sign on the bus with us so we can pose with it. I was quite shocked at how small the street it - it looks huge on tv. We spent time taking pictures and posinh with the sign. Then it was back on the bus and taken back to the bookinbg office where we met kim valentine who plays libby kennedy. It was a brilliant day out and i totally reccomend it!

Led by the wildly enthusiastic (and only slightly cross-eyed) Ben, this Melbourne-based adventure tour will take you to the "far reaches of the territory"--which, as he cheerfully clarified, means "as far as my van can legally go before I need to fill out paperwork." You'll find yourself bush-bashing through landscapes that look like a travel brochure and a survival manual had a baby. We saw a snake. Ben sprinted away and it took us an hour to track him down. But he told a whimsical story about a platypus with an identity crisis that really distracted us from the mild panic. At one point, we may or may not have been lost. Ben pulled out a map, turned it upside down, squinted at the horizon, and declared, "Yep, we're exactly somewhere!" Then he handed out biscuits. Solid leadership. Benventure isn't for the faint of heart--or people who need things like "schedules" or "certainty"--but if you want a laugh, a yarn, and a trip you'll definitely remember (and maybe dream about during future therapy), this is it.
