Lets set the scene ... being from the UK i grew up watching neighbours every weekday. I was a huge scott and charlene fan and an even bigger kylie fan. This was one attraction i was not going to miss then when i was in melbourne. It was even better when i found the booking office and bus pick up was right next door to my hostel! Our tour guide was hilarious and gave us loads of facts about the programme and how its filmed. They also played the 1st ever episode of neighbours which i had never seen! We werent allowed access to the interior sets but we were shown around the outside sets and given plenty time to wander around and take photos. Then it was back on the bus to see the real ramsay street where the houses are. Obviously its not called ramsay street and i was amused to see the ramsay street sign on the bus with us so we can pose with it. I was quite shocked at how small the street it - it looks huge on tv. We spent time taking pictures and posinh with the sign. Then it was back on the bus and taken back to the bookinbg office where we met kim valentine who plays libby kennedy. It was a brilliant day out and i totally reccomend it! read more

Awesome for the neighbours fan. Our bus driver was very entertaining and full of knowledge. We got to meet stingray at the end of the tour. Would recommend this tour if you are a Neighbours fan. We did they day time tour. The kids also enjoyed this tour and getting to go to Neighbour as see it all. read more

This bus tour is brilliant for anyone who loves the Aussie soap 'Neighbours'. It's such a fun trip because you get loads of 'inside info' and gossip about cast members. The bus takes you to the studios (unforunately you can't go in but sometimes you see the cast members arriving!) and to Ramsay Street which is much smaller then it looks on the TV! Posing with the neighbours street sign was also great fun! I think the tour is probably suitable for all ages but when i went on it, it was full off enthusiastic students lol Great fun and a good few hours well spent! read more

If you visit melbourne you must go to Ramsay street! I went on the official tour, but if you have a car and local knowledge you could do it yourself. (The street they use as ramsay st is called Pin oak court.) On the tour you firstly drive past the studios to see if you can see any of the cast - ( felt a bit like a stalker). Your guide will then give you info on Neighbours and play CDs of scenes and songs from the show. You then go to Ramsey Street , its not very big. (they must shoot the programme through a wide angel lens) You then can get photos took with a ramsay st sign outside the houses. People do live in them but apparantly they get paid for the inconvenience of fans turning up. If your lucky enough you might even get to catch some outdoor street scenes! read more

The Neighbours tour is great fun fans. You get to visit the street and converse stories with other fans on the trip. I get to have pictures taken by your favourite characters house. Unfortunately you don't get to meet the stars on the trip but there is a neighbours night you can go to and meet 3 of the neighbours crew at :-). read more

Only worth it if you dont have a car to get to the street yourself - it has free public access during the day. Getting photos outside the houses was fun but the vast majority of the trip was spent driving back and forth across Melbourne is a minibus - 3 hours at least. At one point stopped in a random St Kilda carpark (really) to meet some former 'star' of the show - it was excruciatingly embarrassing and we excused ourselves to find a loo and some water. (No facilities or drinks available on the tour - it's just a bus driving about public places). read more
