I've been coming here for 7 years and usually have a great experience except for today. I've tried most of the ladies but I normally stick to Nitu and Tupi. Today I tried a new girl which was at binas chair but wasn't Bina, it was a big mistake. My eyebrows are thick and I like to keep them that way so after I told her just a clean up and not thin, she continues to thin them out. There's also a patch of hair missing in the inner corner of my eyebrow as if she didn't thin them out enough. She didn't even get the correct shape of my eyebrows. If you want a guaranteed good job done stick to nitu or Tupi. I'm very upset with the way my eyebrows came out today and if you normally get your eyebrows done you know how long they take to grow back from super thin. Not only are they thin I felt like she was going to cut me with how much pressure she used. read more

I stopped by because of how close it was to me and because of the great reviews they had. Worst mistake I could've ever made. I'm not one to leave reviews but after my visit I had to. The lady in the last chair completely messed up my eyebrows. Not only did I thoroughly explain what I wanted and how I did not want them too thin and she tried to blame me and make it seem like I requested the shape she gave me. She does not know what she's doing. If you love your eyebrows as much as I did DONT come here. I now have to wait months to grow my eyebrows back and it's not fun. I unfortunately had to pay for my eyebrows to get messed up and she still had the audacity to ask if I liked them when she knew exactly how I felt. This place has really changed for the worst about 2 years ago when they first opened the service was great, I would go with Jessica who's no longer their or I would go with kamal and I was always happy with the service they left my brows plump and defined, I would get so many complements but recently, with in the last 2 months of going their with kamal she totally messed up my brows her and the other two Indian women that work their, are so rude they make dirty faces at me and that's not the worst part, your rude okay whatever, but they ruined my eyebrows! Kamal took soo much hair off the bottom of my eye brows they made my eyes look huge and my eyebrows are now supper high and thin, I would never go back their again.!!! I visited this location for the first time last Saturday. I was greeted promtly and put into Geet's chair immediately. I explained to Geet that I had bad experiences at other threading places. She listened with concern and care. I told her what I wanted and she delivered beautifully on the very first visit! She was quick and gentle. I was slightly red, not bad at all. She asked me if it was ok to put certain lotions and toners on me! I was impressed because most people just put it on without asking! I didn't break out after my visit and the redness went away quickly. She also took time to explain what I should do in case I was red or inflamed for an extended period of time. I am very impressed with Geet. I will only go to her from now on and I will recommend her to everyone! I am not easily pleased when it comes to my brows so I am one happy customer! First off let me start by saying Tupi is amazing. She has the eye for eyebrows! I came in with a few concerns about my brows. A few months ago, someone had thinned and messed them up. I like the full natural look. I tried going to a few other places, but I was left unsatisfied every time. I'm so glad I met Tapi. She was able to make my brows look full and arched, even though I struggle with growing back my patches. She's also kind, concerned, knows what she's doing, offers quality service, and getting my brows done with her was painless. I definitely recommend going to her. read more

I have been coming to Aayna Threading since 2010. My co worker told me to try threading because it hurts less than waxing, which is true. I have not gone anywhere else since then and only get my eyebrows done there. I have either Jess, or Tupi do them. To be honest I don't mind if any of the ladies there do my eyebrows but over the years I have built a friendship with Jess and Tupi. Last year I went up North for 6 weeks and didn't get my eyebrows done until I got back, because that's how much I trust and love the way they do my eyebrows. Honestly not only are they the best at what they do, but they have the best customer service. Idk how this place has good reviews, my experience here sucked. I did come here a while ago, but decided to write a review since I just made a Yelp account. So hopefully "Aanya Threading" changed their management and staff... Anyways when I used to go, one of the Indian ladies who worked there was really nice and pretty, the other one who was the manager's daughter was a complete bitch. She told me she was going to run the shop one day. She made comments about how while she was threading one of eyebrows my pimple popped, and made comments about my acne... I was still in high school at the time mind you, and I just had one or two pimples on my face. Her forehead and nose had legit acne so I have no idea why she felt that was okay to say to me. Had she not looked in a mirror? Also when is that EVER okay to say to a customer? When it has literally nothing to do with the service you're providing them? Still I was new to threading and I didn't know of anywhere else to go, so I continued going. The manager's daughter was always the one working, very rarely was it the sweet one who did a great job at brows, I never had a problem with her. I finally lost my shit when the manager's daughter messed up my eyebrows THE NIGHT BEFORE PROM! I had waited 2 months to get them nice and full so I could have them shaped for my special night, I was only going to prom once. And to my displeasure, the daughter was working that night. AND SHE TRIMMED OFF HALF MY BROW! Literally. They were so uneven. I told her, and later I called the manager and complained I was so furious. That was the first and only time someone has ever done that to me! "Glory Threading" which is also located in Azusa is cheaper and the staff is so sweet and they listen to exactly what you want. I highly recommend them. If you go to "Aanya Threading" DO NOT have the bratty daughter do your eyebrows. She can barely shape them, along with having absolutely zero social skills. I was shocked when I started going to "Glory Threading". I just figured all the staff at any eyebrow place I went to would be as rude as the chick at "Aanya Threading", but any other eyebrow threading establishment I've been to, their attitudes have been top notch! To the owner's response: So let me get this straight, since I wrote a review that doesn't promote your business, you automatically deem it as fake? Give me a break. If it was fake it wouldn't have been so detailed and specific. It's good to know that's how you respond to your old customers though. Very "professional". I have been coming here for years now. There is not other place like this. If you need your eyebrows to be shaped go to TUPI! She is hands down the BEST at this place. I have tried other places around the area and nothing compares. Shes quick and shapes them really nice. My mother in law who has almost no eyebrow hairs, loves TUPI. I would of gave this salon 5 stars until Sunday. After I walked out I sat in my car with tears. There is a new employee & I think I was the first person she ever threaded. She should practice working on her friends & family before working with clients. And to top it off she smelt with very bad BO (not saying that because I'm upset but it was true). Oh course they ask if you like them but I was too upset & they were already messed up. I've been working on my shape for a while. Almost had it down as the last person did amazing the time before. I wanted to try a new place because I was going to Ziba but felt like it was getting way to expensive and they would leave my eyebrows almost untouched every time forcing me to come back way sooner than usual. So I came to Aayna's and I am very pleased. My eyebrows are naturally thick so when I said not too thin, they completely understood what I meant. They threaded according to my natural shape and then gave me a little mini massage which is a cool bonus, ziba does not do, and I was in and out under 15min. Eyebrow threading cost $7 cash and $7.50 w/atm card. Unfortunately I do not remember who did my eyebrows but I will be coming back as I am pleased with my service. read more
