Aligned on a quote for a complete removal, reframing, and refinishing of patio stairs in May and insisted on 50% down at that time to secure a timeslot on their schedule. After repeated delays, the owner John finally showed up to start the project in August. He proceeded to demo the stairs (as well as damage exterior siding in the process) and then stated that there was water damage that he was not comfortable dealing with and that he would finish the work after a restoration service repaired the OSB. We had a restoration expert replace the boards and when we called John to finish the stairs he committed to a date. The day before he was supposed to show up, he emailed to say that he was no longer available to finish the project. When we asked about a refund for the down payment, he insisted that the time spent demo'ing the stairs consumed the 50% down. The quote was for 12 hours of labor and all he did was remove 3 stairs that were already falling apart. I've heard from another client who said I got off lucky because the work he actually did at their house was shoddy and required repair shortly after. Buyer beware!

I hired this company to uninstall and install 3 tv's during our recent move. The job took way too…read morelong. It was obvious to me that the two guys they sent were not anywhere near expert on installing tv's. All 3 tv's are crooked on the wall but we were told they are level. The sound bars are also crooked. Also I had request they bring several closet shelves 14"x36". The ones they brought were the wrong size and on top of that they were cut on my patio and the garbage was just left there. The next day the owner left "new corrected" shelves in my lobby. Ha, wrong again they were 14 1/2"x 36". This company was So sloppy. I expected better because the woman who sets everything up is incredibly professional and seemed so capable. Really disappointed.

Complete Handyman didn't follow up until after the appointment time had come and gone, and then...only when I emailed to ask if it was possible to reschedule. The excuse given was that Square didn't save my email or phone. So it wasn't possible to contact me to reschedule. (This seems unlikely since the initial contact for the appt. was by email.) I offered alternate dates and times...but heard nothing more from Complete Handyman.
