Abayance Bay used to be a secretly PERFECT venue for music. But since bringing in the out of state "Outriders" group for booking the experience at Abayance (as well as most venues where the Outriders work) have DRASTICALLY gone down hill. The final straw is a new parking system that requires ticket holders to dish out another $30 on top of the ticket for parking. Ontop of that, the new lot is located a half mile from the venue and requires a shuttle. In years past, a huge lot out front provided a perfect place for close access for kids & pets, but now is reduced to a for-profit scheme forcing patrons to pay extra for PARKING. This could be a great venue but the concert was WAY OVER SOLD!!!! Instead of enjoying the Red Clay Strays I had to walk over 2 miles in dust that covered my feet because there wasn't adequate parking. I stood in line for the few Porta potties, drink line and food lines. I got about 15 minutes to actually enjoy the main event. Getting to you car after the event was dangerous there was NO traffic safety - I witnessed a man getting run over by a trailer at the top of the hill. If you're thinking of doing Albayance Bay DON'T!!!! This was the worst time I have ever had. read more

Great marina run by great people! The Bowl restaurant and bar has wings, pizza, flatbread, burgers, etc. and beer and wine and fun atmosphere right on Lake Koocanusa. Concerts on some weekends - Jewel concert August 24, 2018 is excellent and tons of fun! read more

Ambiance of "The Bowl" restaurant is upscale; very unlike the western & rustic Montana vibe that everyone has come to expect of the area (like that of the Frontier or Trapper's). I felt like I was underdressed coming off the lake after a day of boating. The menu has a lot of variety and in our group the vegetarian ravioli, beef dip, burgers & prime rib were enjoyed but the pizza was unfortunately quite tasteless. The only other thing to note is that it's very busy and everyone lines up inside so if you get a table adjacent to the main entry like we did, expect to have a line of people leaning over your shoulder as you eat. read more

Had a delightfully delicious dinner ... who knew you could find something besides burgers and pizza. They do serve those; however, they also do a great job with a lovely dinner of roasted chicken, blackened salmon, steaks, and pasta. I made a reservation last Saturday for 10 people and it turned out to be too much for the staff apparently. not only did we not receive some of our appetizers until the dinner showed up, but a couple of the folks didn't even get their main course at all. the view was wonderful and the place very kept up but I would have rather went to a McDonalds and known what to expect as this was my wife's Birthday and some of the folks traveled over 200 miles to get there. in short, it stunk as a food establishment read more

I went Abayance Bay Marina for dinner on 2-13-2020, the restaurant was very clean and presentable, the first thing I noticed was the musician area was obstructing a fire exit which is a violation of the life safety code. The servers were very presentable. The servers appeared to be untrained, did not pay attention to details, delivered soup and meal at the same time, main dish (tuna) was half raw, the soup was not warm enough, when the meal was finished there was no recognition that very little of the meal was consumed. The bowl of soup I had, had to be re-heated and the server stated that "it was in the crockpot". Very poor performance and doubt I would ever go here agai. read more
