He diagnosed my endometriosis even though it was microscopic, and he used excellent excision skills to take it out. During my case review he demonstrated that he has very deep knowledge and understanding of my disease, provided me with his realistic predictions of how he could help me, and explained in depth the various outcomes of my upcoming surgery. In my preoperative appointment he was compassionate, careful and clear, taking all the time I needed to review my case notes and help me understand my disease and the treatment that he had planned. Through his explanations, he spoke to me respectfully and was never condescending. He even took time out of his busy day to provide sight-seeing suggestions to my family so that they wouldn't sit restlessly in the waiting room during my long surgery. Before the surgery he was calm and reassuring to both me and my worried family members. Afterward, he clearly explained everything he had done during the surgery and what he expected my outcome to be. He provided me with his direct cell number and email address so that I could contact him quickly and directly if I had any concerns during my recovery. Once I was out of the hospital and recovering at my hotel, he visited me at my hotel room and painstakingly reviewed my operative reports and photographs, explaining clearly and in detail each task that he had performed during my surgery. I was a mess inside, but he managed to save one of my damaged ovaries and repair damage to my bladder caused by another doctor. I felt relief of my symptoms within days of surgery, and now 5 months post op I am a different, much healthier person. Many surgeons would have moved on at this point, but Dr. Robbins continues to be available whenever I have any questions or concerns regarding my health. She had been going here for years and swore by them. So, I made an appointment and kept it! And, you know - here it is about 5 months later and I'm really glad I did. I met with Dr. Cayer for an initial assessment which included x-rays and thermo scans. From here, he sat down and showed my where my "problem" areas were and shared with me a treatment plan. It seemed like an aggressive plan - 4 weeks with 3 visits per week, 4 weeks at 2 per week, and then onto a maintenance plan of once a week Now, I must admit a couple things. One - getting "cracked" scared the crap out of me. And, two - I wasn't really sure I believe it would help. Well - the getting "cracked" part is still very weird to me, but I definitely believe it works. My back is SO MUCH better. I have bad days here and there, but they are few and far between. And, the pain doesn't stop me from doing anything anymore. I look forward to my weekly visit - and it only takes 5 minutes. In and out! I've also used their massage therapy services and Mindy has given me the best massages I've had - at a much lower price point than any of the fancy spas I've visited in the past. I've been with them for 4 years, since I moved to Maine, and I have always been amazed at their professionalism, kindness, and sensitivity to my needs. The office is physically welcoming and calming, and all the staff work so well together. Scheduling is well-communicated, and I have always been seen in a timely manner, even in several more urgent situations. I don't know how Dr. Goding does it!.....he moves seamlessly amongst several patients at once, yet he always arrives chair side with cheerfulness and friendly talk before he begins. Gentle touch, never hurried, with very current, up-to-date equipment. From cleanings to root canal to extraction, my experiences here have always had good outcomes, with my comfort definitely a high priority with these folks. Due to the way their infrastructure was set up to accommodate the blue collar citizen that works full-time. At co-recover Dr. Edward Bilotti has done everything within his power to help me with my sobriety and maintaining my sobriety. I recommend anyone fighting addiction to co-recovery.
