    Bison burger, no bun needed.
    Cecilia T.

I love this place. The food is a solid 8/10 most of the time and the vibe is very chill. The build your own burger menu has a dizzying amount of options, and they give you a little paper menu and a tiny pencil to choose your own options - it's the same experience as keeping score at mini golf, only with burgers. There are a few downsides - service is very inconsistent and the chances your burger will be overcooked are about 50/50 - but the good outweighs the bad and I keep coming back here for the juiciest bison burger and the spiciest pickles in the city.

It's been a while since I came down but sheesh was this food and service amazing! The area was well ventilated and superbly clean. I ordered the sliders from the hh menu and also the trio of sliders from the regular menu. My sliders were cooked to perfection. The trio of sliders were wagu beef, duck, and angus beef sliders. Also ordered fries and fried pickles. The fried pickles were a 10/10 the fries were ok. I could have done without the old bay seasoning on my fries. Overall the meal was 8/10 service was fast and polite. Scott was an excellent waiter.

The ambiance, the food, and the bartender/waiter/ manager was as friendly as they come. I had the wedge salad, which was very tasty. It was a normal wedge salad bumped up ten levels! My co-conspirators had burgers, which they devoured! Their homemade chips were phenomenal! I would definitely do this again!

Whoa, ordered the Baltimore burger and it was one of the biggest burgers I've ever eaten. The flavor was great with crab dip. The meat felt a little bland but still enjoyable. The onion rings were generous and arguably something I ended up enjoying more than the burger which is crazy. My orange crush was all right, needed more oomph with carbonation or something, idk. Service was super good, extremely friendly. It did take some time to come out but they were full the night I visited. Ambiance is that of a solid sports bar, with good food and people watching games. Glad I checked em out.

It's been a couple years since I've been to Abbey's but came here recently again with a friend. I'm not big into burgers but they have other options to choose from. I got Ceces Crab Roll which came with chips. The chips were quite good - crispy and crunchy. The roll itself wasn't too toasted from what I could tell but there were plenty of crab meat. Not a ton of flavor even with some old bay but still pretty good. It was good to come back again to this casual bistro. The food is decent and the staff are fine. Will prob be back again to try some of their other non burger items.

We are from Winchester and came to town to drop family off to BWI and decided to grab lunch. We were greeted by David, very friendly and fun guy. Craig took care of us and was a lot of help, friendly and attentive. All four of us loved our meals. Highly recommend!!

Simply AJ10 burger w tots and nacho cheese (closer), cherrywood smoked angus burger w Caesar salad (back)
    Alice L.

Food: both burgers were awesome, with simple AJ10 outshining the cherrywood smoked angus slightly. Side Caesar was not my fav and don't think it's worth the +$4 upgrade. Mac & cheese app was good, though surprising that added jalapeños were fresh and not baked with the Mac & cheese. Fried green tomato caprese is skippable - unfortunately tasted more fried batter than green tomato. Service: fast, friendly, attentive. Ambiance: cute place for a quick bite. Bathrooms leave something to be desired in terms of cleanliness.

Cravings French fries my husband suggested we drive into Baltimore for burgers. Arriving at Abbeys the area seemed casually busy with people walking around to different stores and restaurants. There is a comedy club a few doors down that we even considered checking out. With the weather being nice we opted to sit outside on the wooden picnic tables. Inside there is bar seating and a few tables. All servers/workers greeted us and made sure that we were tended to sometimes rotating as they checked on other patrons. My husband built his own burger by checking off items on a sheet. I opted to try the Simply AJ 10 with a few modifications. We were both satisfied with our burgers and completely full. I even had to pack up some tater tots to go to finish up when I had a little space later in the day. If you are craving a burger that goes a bit further than fast food and your typical chain definitely check out Abbey's!

I've been here twice and I like to do the custom burger. It's cooked well and they have so many options. The service could be improved but I will come back and keep trying the burgers.

The delivery and food were excellent! I've had their burgers before and knew they were good. This time I decided to try the peanut butter burger. I figured this was just a gimmick burger used for promotional purposes. Let me say, it was love at first bite! I always put ketchup and mustard on my burgers, but this burger didn't need them. I cannot believe how good this burger tasted blended with the peanut butter. My wife took a bite and tried to take the burger from me. It won't be long before I'll be ordering another amazing peanut butter burger!

Wow this place is awesome! The burger was huge and very good! I love the combos of burgers including the peanut butter one. Great atmosphere and the wood bar top is gorgeous. This place has a great local vibe and you have to try it when you're in town.

Cute place! I'm not into burgers but they had a decent menu of other selections. I went here for a birthday party and everyone enjoyed their dishes. The service was great too. The location is great being in Fells Point. Highly recommend!!

A few of us came early and got drinks at the speakeasy upstairs which I definitely recommend! It had a great drink menu and cool vibe. For actual dinner, the restaurant itself had an eclectic menu and swanky decor. The service was spotty. I had to ask for water refills 2x. Also for a group of 12, it took about 7 mins for everyone to be served food. Yes, this is a large party, so you must have several servers come bring the food when you're charging these prices. It should've been a seamless experience but we had several friends waiting on their food while others were halfway through. The food quality itself was hit or miss. The pork belly app was delicious! Crispy and tender. But the octopus was overly chewy and weird. We had 2 dishes with it and both were cooked like that, it wasn't good. The lobster poutine was delicious and went quick. Paella was okay - the shellfish was overcooked and seemingly dried up. Drinks were good and staff was friendly. Overall, there are a lot of kinks to work out. I'd like to come back but at the price point, I wish our experience was better and wish the food was more consistently good.

The vibes are homey, almost feels like a library but not quite, very cozy very comfy. Food: Tomato Mozarella, this was my two fav things in one. Tomato and burrata/mozarella, and prosciutto and melon. Delicious. 10/10. Prawns: so good, so flavorful, and I typically am not a shrimp/prawn girl. Skirt Steak: this was such a juicy and moist (sorry) steak. I don't like chimmichurri (cannot spell that omg) but it was good! The fries were also a winner. Moroccan Hen: this felt like a cookout bbq to be honest but in the best way. It's super flavorful, very smoky, and SO juicy. Drinks: watermelon marg, orange espresso cocktail, and I cannot remember the blue drinks name but all delicious. I fear this is my fav espresso martini to date. Dessserts: the Poe's nest and the Ruby & Emerald. Delicious. No notes.

My friend said I had to come here. We did. As soon as we stepped out of the Uber the adventure began. The building is so out dated but the entrance door held its charm. Neon lit Edgar portrait reading from a book his Annabel Lee. Complete with a bouquet of flowers. To the right more words of the writer surrounded with a few tables and chairs for those willing to chill in the cold. Inside was no different. Several crows, skulls everything you'd expect. And a well stocked bar. Many writings on the wall, articles, awards, etc all added to the vibe and theme. And of course dimly lit but you could still read the menu. We were guided to the back for our party of 5, in a corner away from everyone else. That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. Unfortunately, I had eaten quite a bit on this trip and forced myself to order the Chef Salad. Nothing more to say there. My wife, though, ordered the seafood lasagna. Never had that and it didn't sound like something I could get into. I was wrong. This is Baltimore. The seafood here is astounding. It was delicious and had to take a couple spoon fulls. My friend ordered the double beef patty burger. I was jealous until he offered me a bite. That was really good too, and juicy. If you're looking for an experience and are not too afraid you may want to visit Annabel's. I do recommend it and do insist coming after the sun has been well down.
