    Garlic Parm fries

Came in on a Monday around lunch time and were seated at the bar quickly without a reservation. It wasn't very busy during this time and they were playing some fun pop music. The bartender was friendly and attentive, happy to help with our questions and allergy requests. I decided to get the BBQ salmon salad, which was absolutely fantastic. I also shared some garlic parm fries, which were crispy and delicious. I've heard some great things about their lobster fingers, so I'll be back to get my hands on those soon.

Loves the small plates - made for such a nice lunch with friends. Highlights included birria empanadas, big ole mozzarella sticks, French onion rings, and pork belly. Service was wonderful!!

The food was amazing . I went there for brunch and I enjoyed everything . I see the hype about the mozzarella sticks 10/10 . I added Hollandaise sauce to my burrito which was so good . The French toast dippers were the perfect sweet treat . The Tini espresso martini was adorable. Overall great experience . The server was nice . It was a vibe in there and it's always busy .

Always a great time to grab fresh and indulgent meals at The Food Market. Parking can be a little tight some nights but the service is typically very quick and reliable. I like to come during happy hour and times when I'm impressing my friends. I highly recommend you stop in.

Salmon BLT with crinkle fries for weekend brunch!

I don't come to TFM often as I'm always bouncing around, plus dinner time is always busy unless you get here early. However, the Pat LaFrieda burger is still my all time fav bar side dinner. But I digress. This weekend I tried their brunch after too many years! Many choices tending toward heavy, sugary and pancakey. I went "healthy" with the salmon BLT. Thick filet between thick bread. Wish the bread wasn't so thick as I had to bite into it piece by piece, layer by layer. No matter, my dears, it was great! Table service, as always, very good!

The experience lives up to the hype. In fact, it might surpass the hype. The food, drinks, and service were excellent. The happy hour deals are almost literal steals and the vibe is fun and friendly - it's the kind of place where you can still make friends with the people sitting next to you at the bar. The garlicky shrimp appetizer was like if you had fettuccine Alfredo with little cubes of bread instead of pasta, the non-traditional Philly cheesesteak bao was a happy little surprise, the burger is possibly top 3 in the city, and the tiny espresso martini shot was the perfect accompaniment

TLDR: The Food Market always hits. Brunch, dinner, or even their chef's slay the menu table, I leave happy every time. Labor Day's 50% off appreciation brunch was just another reason why this spot is one of my Baltimore go tos. I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. I have done the private Slay the Menu chef's table in the basement, plenty of dinners, and a bunch of brunches, and every visit has been solid. This past weekend was no exception. They announced on social media that they were doing a customer appreciation brunch over Labor Day with half off your bill. Of course I made a reservation right away. My fiancée and I came in at noon on Sunday and the place was packed to the brim, which was no surprise. We ordered some of our favorites, including the giant mozzarella sticks, buffalo fried pickles, and the short rib eggs benedict. Everything was just as good as we remembered. We also tried the street corn wedge salad and the cheesesteak for the first time and both were excellent. Even with how busy it was, our waitress crushed it. Drinks were always full, food came out at the perfect pace, and the service was genuinely great. The Food Market keeps proving why it is one of the best spots in Hampden. Between the food, the service, and the way they give back to their regulars, it is always worth the visit.

Overall a great experience. All the food here was really delicious and service was attentive. The place was super busy so I'd recommend reservations. The mozzarella sticks and Amish pretzels were really good and one of the best catfish I've had in a long time.

I love the Food Market and wish that there was a location in DC. The food is always really great. The staff is always been quick and attentive. And honestly no matter when I've stopped by the restaurant it's always busy in there. I feel like that shows just how great their food and the vibes are in there. I recently went for happy hour and had their big ole mozzarella stick for the first time and I wish I'd had it sooner. It's about 6 inches of crispy cheese with a really good marinara sauce. And what makes it even better is that it was $5 and the happy hour cocktails were like $6-10. Can't beat the prices, especially when there's a lot of other high quality food and snack options on the menu. Can't wait to be back!

I have been here many times, but realized I never wrote a review so there's no better time than now to share my thoughts. We recently visited the food market because of their customer appreciation event where they were offering 50% off the entire menu. This was something new as I don't believe I remember them doing this type of event, but it was so thoughtful of the restaurant to do this. Regardless of the discount this restaurant is a must visit as they are consistently producing top-notch quality dishes. Not to mention, the service was amazing given how crowded the restaurant was this particular day. Our server Nadeen was amazing. She was attentive, prompt, and made sure we were well taken care of. This restaurant is suitable for families or just as perfect for those looking for a more intimate date night. However, because of its location, location they don't have a designated parking area therefore it is a street parking situation. Now moving onto the food ! They have a pretty decent number of items on their menu and I think at this point I have tried just about everything and I can't say that I dislike any items. I've tried so far. However, I will share some of my favorites. I love their giant mozzarella stick. Considering it size it somehow still stays altogether and super crunchy with just the right amount of cheese pull. We also got their street corn wedge salad, and that was amazing. It was super light and paired so nicely with the ranch and the shrimp. And of course, they're famous cheesesteaks also delicious with very tender pieces of meat paired with their really soft chewy bread. And while I'm not one for mocktails I got their Gucci lemonade, and it was so refreshing, not overly sweet and paired perfectly with my meal!

Updating my review here since it's been a while. Still gotta say, this place is so good. Recently came back for brunch with my dining partner. We shared their caramelized grapefruit, Crab Benedict, and the Breakfast Bowl. The tart grapefruit with the caramelized sugar on top was such a nice balance between sweet and tart. The breakfast bowl was a bit oily but had lots of flavor and plenty of short rib. The crab Benedict was nicely fried with its great tasting hollandaise. Still such great food and service just as my previous visits!

Love, love, love this restaurant! It's one of my favorite places to take friends when they come into town. I took my friend last weekend and she absolutely enjoyed it. We started off with the mozzarella sticks and the cheese pull was insane! I ordered the steak frites and my friend had the crab cake. Everything was cooked to perfection. So flavorful! Our waiter was super nice and because it was my friend's birthday, he brought her a cute little dessert with a candle on it. The service on top of the dimly lit and cozy ambiance made for the best time ever.

My good girlfriend took me here for my birthday She got the crispy lobster fingers and I got the cream of crab soups as an appetizer. Both were delicious! For my entree I got the Hummus Chopped salad and she got the BBQ Salmon salad. The ambiance was nice, we enjoyed the food and our time together. Our server was also wonderful. It's street parking so I had to park around the corner but I would definitely recommend:)

Since it was New Year's eve, there were few patrons or maybe this is the usual scene? Don't know. But there are some comfy couches by the front in which a young couple with a baby was nursing. Another couple was just finishing up dinner and started to head out. We were the only two diners for about 20 minutes before another couple came in for dinner. There were also about two or three people at the bar. So basically a very quiet place. No one at the hostess stand, only a woman at the bar. She eventually sat us and took our order. Things were slow but not so slow that I would complain. I would surmise that most of the staff was off that evening. Food was also slow in coming so there might have been a small crew in the kitchen as well. We ordered the mezze appetizer. Nothing to rave about. It was just a plate with vegetables and hummus. We both got the wagyu burger and fries. The whole meal was quite decent. The meat was cooked to the correct temperature and the fries were crispy. It was quite filling for me. Maybe it was NYE but everything was quiet and nice.

It was a gorgeous day, the first Sunday in January, 2026. We arrived at 11:00 am, when they open, because we wanted to make sure to be ahead of the well documented Sunday brunch crowd. Yeiboh Kitchen does not take reservations (although they do reserve for special parties/events). Yeiboh Kitchen has an intimate outside patio dining area in front for that alfresco experience. When we entered, we were greeted warmly, and waited in comfy chairs for about 10 minutes in the cozy foyer complete with fireplace, before being seated. There was a mix of smooth R&B and mellow Hip Hop flowing on the PA system - and then the DJ set it up, and continued the vibe! The bar, open kitchen, and cheerful wait staff enhanced our anticipation of the food that was in store! We were not disappointed! I had the Jerk Honey Glazed Lollipop Lamb Chops AND Grits! It comes with 3 chops, cooked to your specification. (Medium for me) I was trying to scrape my plate for the last morsel of grits, and suck the Lamb bones, it was so good! The hubby ordered the Deep Fried Salmon and Grits, served with a savory Cajun cream sauce, scallion and tomatoes - and 2, fluffy scrambled eggs! He absolutely loved his meal! We also had the Deep Fried Biscuit Flight. Three biscuits - Salted Caramel Apple, Strawberry Cream, and Banana Pudding - perfectly fried in a way you would not even think they were fried, but for that ever-so light, crispy texture on the crust, and every bite - perfection! I cannot say which biscuit I enjoyed the most - I'll need to visit a few more times to make a determination! For beverages, we had coffee, and I ordered my (usual) mimosa. Our server, "Ms. Sunday," was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The Chef, Mr. Chris Davis, greeted us at our table during the meal, which was a wonderful, elegant touch! He explained about the fried biscuits (without giving away too much!)- and we complimented him on his culinary innovations in the kitchen! The Sunday brunch patrons began to arrive around noon, and by the time we left - close to 1:00pm, it was jumping! If you are in or near Baltimore, or plan to travel to the area soon, please put this restaurant on your list. Parking is at a premium, so if you can, arrive by Uber or Lyft. The experience will be well worth the trip!

It was a short and lovely walk from my hotel, and I was dining alone and initially I wasn't sure how I felt about having a solo dining experience at an upscale restaurant. My concerns were immediately dispelled as soon as I opened the restaurant door. Two men greeted me and were incredibly gracious and welcoming. They quickly found my reservation and asked me if it was my first time at the restaurant and what brought me to town. Since it was pretty early for dinner (6pm on a Monday) they gave me options for where I wanted to sit, confirming that the lounge seating I reserved was best for me because it placed me near the large bay windows that faced the harbor and the setting sun. My waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. He not only knew the menu, but he had tasted several items and gave me direct feedback on items. I decided on the three-course menu with wine pairing. For starters, I had the fried oysters. The fry was light and crisp, and oysters were flavorful, still holding the freshness of the ocean. The olive bread serving was a nice touch. The second course was white truffle fettuccine with mushrooms. The mushrooms were tender, absorbing the flavor of the seasoning. The fettuccine was fresh, light and richness of the white truffle was a perfect compliment, but not overpowering. The third course was crispy wild halibut with a zucchini beignet. Again, they do a beautiful job with frying fish. The fish with lightly fried enough to get a nice crispy, but with no oily after taste. The zucchini beignet was crisp and fresh. The tartar sauce for the halibut gave the elevated dish a hearty, fun, comfort food finish. The wine pairings were perfection. From the Cremant d'Alsace Brut bubbly, which offered a refreshing and bright flavor to go with the light oysters, and even the Chardonnay, Dehlinger, which offered a citrus accent that was a nice balance with the warm, rich embrace of the fettuccine dish, Charleston sommelier experts make every effort to ensure that pairing enrich the dining experience. For those looking for an elevated dining experience in Baltimore by the Harbor, where you really feel taken cared of, I'll suggest visiting Charleston. Every staff member I engaged with, even as a solo diner, made me feel like I was a treasured guest.

The major hiccup we experienced was my gluten free lamb shank pasta being sent to the vegetarian sitting at the table next to us. Watching this unfold and the server's exasperated reaction was very awkward. That being said, the manager (or maitre d?)'s graceful handling of the situation thereafter was great. He told us what happened, played it off well, explained that it would be a bit of a wait for our next course as a result, and ended up comping all our wine. Really classy touch. However, even after the long wait for the pasta, it was ultimately under-salted under-seasoned and not impressive at all. As much as I appreciate the gluten free option, I wish I had just gotten something else especially after all that trouble! The rest of the service throughout the night was also oddly paced. We ordered less courses than last year (only three) but we were there for almost four hours. Tables around us who arrived after us were served their first courses before we even had a chance to order. We were asked to pick out a wine first before choosing our food and since we weren't sure what we were eating, we weren't ready to select a wine. Even just getting the food menu took a bit of waiting around. Our server didn't inquire about any food allergies either so it was tough making decisions when I wasn't sure what was gluten free - and this was an allergy that was noted in our reservation, too. At another point, I asked for a glass of red wine three different times until finally the maitre d grabbed it for me after the pasta debacle happened. As for the rest of my meal, the scallops and lobster soup were both yummy but not anything life changing. However, my boyfriend's lamb chop dish was very very delicious. The one bite I had, paired with the pomegranates, was heaven. By the way, they offer gluten free bread service too. Has the Charleston lost their touch after the recent James Beard press? I'm not sure but I do hope they step things back up again. You come to expect a little more from an institution like this, especially after being totally blown away last year.

Neon lit Edgar portrait reading from a book his Annabel Lee. Complete with a bouquet of flowers. To the right more words of the writer surrounded with a few tables and chairs for those willing to chill in the cold. Inside was no different. Several crows, skulls everything you'd expect. And a well stocked bar. Many writings on the wall, articles, awards, etc all added to the vibe and theme. And of course dimly lit but you could still read the menu. We were guided to the back for our party of 5, in a corner away from everyone else. That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. Unfortunately, I had eaten quite a bit on this trip and forced myself to order the Chef Salad. Nothing more to say there. My wife, though, ordered the seafood lasagna. We didn't even get our scone before the 45 minutes. About 35 minutes in, we looked around us and noticed that not a single table that came before us had their food either. The servers said something about how everyone came in at the same time for the reservation which doesn't even make sense because the restaurant should be staggering food. Service was poor and servers were rude overall. We tried to ask if they were serving anything other than the brunch menu (like if there was a lunch menu too) and the girl looked at us like we were dumb. We later saw the table next to us with a burger, which was NOT on the brunch menu so obviously he was able to order out of the brunch menu. I got the Avocado Toast w Poached Egg. The flavor combo was unique, but was overall mid and the bread they used was not a good pick for an avocado toast. It was thick and soggy. Overall, food was mid. Service was terrible and the wait was ridiculous.

For the appetizer, we got the mushroom toast and miso soup. The mushroom toast was umami and creamy. And the miso soup had an interesting crunch on top, while the base was hearty. I really enjoyed both! For the main course we got the catfish. It was nicely fried and not at all greasy. I regret not getting the lamb instead, since I'm not the biggest fan of white fish. For dessert, we tried the shortbread and a blueberry cake. I forget exactly why it was, but the shortbread was so delectable. There was a nice caramel layer. Our server was very kind! Very attentive and friendly. I was celebrating a birthday, and when she heard that, she asked if we wanted a Polaroid photo to document the moment. It was so cute! Overall ambiance is nice too. It's cozy without feeling small. Although, it was very cold that day and every time someone opened the door, I would feel the wind draft. Maybe a slightly higher indoor temperature would be better. Anyways, I'd definitely come back! Solid food and lovely service. I like that they serve seasonal specials.

We each got the cranberry Negroni which tasted not much like cranberry or a Negroni, and one person got a celery margarita which just tasted like a regular marg. Ambiance: quaint, they have a lot of fun decor throughout. Service: no complaints
