I reached out to Mike and he immediately helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone. It turned out to be the hot water line leaking, and he calmly walked me through how to shut off the hot water for the night so I wouldn't lose water to the entire house. What really stood out was that Mike even offered to come over that same night when I first told him about the leak. I told him it could wait until the next day, and he showed up as promised and fixed it. After he left, I discovered there was a second leak. I contacted him again and he came back the very next morning and took care of that as well. Mike has always been professional, responsive, and easy to deal with. Every time I've reached out to him with an issue, he answers the phone or calls back within minutes. I've seen some negative reviews online, but that hasn't been my experience at all. As for move-out inspection complaints, I can't speak on that yet since I'm still renting one of their properties. When the time comes, I'll happily leave another review reflecting that experience, whether it's positive or negative. Based on my experience so far, Mike and The Myers Realty Group have been responsive, professional, and very helpful whenever an issue comes up.

Funny thing--Abbitt likely expended sizeable attorney fees to contest our complaint--surely more costly than settling with us for much less--but that is their mentality. Oh, and their typed/promised refund was never received! Now, in all likelihood, Abbitt will reply with some lame talking points--don't believe a word of it. Just look at their current 2.0 Yelp rating, other comments and that will tell you all you need to know. Bottom line: Avoid Abbitt by all means, for their staff will assuredly allow your investment to be destroyed, devalued and demand to be repaired in order for it to be livable once again.

The second took over two weeks to respond, and yes, it was around the holidays but even with that, this delay and outcome is ridiculous only to be told the home was already off the market. Why are you taking application fees for homes that are already rented or clearly unavailable? That feels dishonest. The application transfer is only good for 30 days, and there are no other homes available that allow pets and I'm sure my 30 days is almost up, so the money is basically wasted. On top of that, the pet screening process through petscreening.com is extremely invasive and makes it unnecessarily difficult to get ESA animals approved. Worst property management experience I've had. Poor communication, misleading practices, and a huge waste of time and money. Would not recommend.

My emails go unanswered, my maintenance tickets closed without being addressed, and my calls to D+F's "Customer Cares" line go without any response. We are moving out as soon as we can - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY'S APARTMENTS. They are unsafe, uncared for, and overpriced. My fridge has been held together with TAPE from the day we moved in for crying out loud - 2400 dollar "Luxury" apartment with taped together appliances. EDIT: after months and months of ignored complaints through official channels, I found that I was able to get a response only by posting negative reviews on Yelp. D+F should have given attention to these issues before/when I moved in, not 10 months later when I complained online.
