This is a perfect season so the seats we're filled to the brim. We sat in the last row before the standing room only section and still had a great vantage point. The crowds can get so loud and the tv's and music is really well done. I liked the little merch store on the main level, and there are ample concessions! there are many parking lots and parking passes also available for purchase. The team directing everyone from outside to inside is so nice and friendly. It's definitely a huge arena that isn't intimidating.

I love the energy, the lights, the Husker Power chant, the trolling of Creighton and Iowa fans. I really love it all. To get to witness Nebraska basketball's best season (26-5 tied for best regular season and highest they have ever been ranked in the AP poll) has been memories I'll never forget. They have burgers, fries, nachos, popcorn, chicken tenders and fries, Husker dawgs, Valentino's pizza, and more. They're not even in the Big 12 anymore. Doesn't matter... That hurt runs deep. I was at that last heart breaker of a game at Jack Trice before Nebraska moved to the Big 10... That being said.... The campus and grounds around Memorial Stadium are inspiring. It's hard not to look up at those walls and not feel some respect for their football program with so many years of success behind it. We had met friends from Oklahoma in Lincoln. Terry's a huge football fan in general so I took him over to see the stadium and the Nebraska athletics hall of fame. No one can argue it's not impressive. But I'm still not going to give it 5 stars... Lol

Bring a blanket for berm seating. They also have a few nice common areas with picnic tables. In the outfield on the 3rd base line, they have a children's area with games and inflatables (for an extra fee). In the outfield on the 1st base line, there is a big jungle gym that has a nice shade covering. Attached general concessions menu. There are also pop up stands with Colby ridge ice cream, funnel cakes, dip n dots and more. There's also a larger concession hut with BBQ. Other specialty (canned) beers at pop up stands as well.

I'm old enough to remember watching Husker soccer matches at the Abbott Sports Complex way out…read morearound 70th & Cornhusker Highway. Those were the days. Later, the team played for a while on a field just west of the old NU Coliseum at 14th and Vine. Now they play at the state-of-the-art Barbara Hibner Soccer Stadium, just north of the downtown campus. I absolutely love that the stands were built on the west side of the complex. You'll catch some sun during the day, but you won't have to worry much when first kick is around twilight time. I also like the walkway from the locker rooms to the field. It isn't long, but it's cool to see girls line up to high five the players as they walk down to the pitch. Standard concession items are available - hot dogs, pizza slices, nachos, popcorn, soda and water. I didn't see any alcoholic beverages on the menu. Bathrooms are on site, however I didn't use them. A team store is, too. Parking wraps around the complex, which includes tennis courts. There isn't a charge, however it's a bit of a walk, so you might want to wear comfortable shoes.
