Admission is FREE. The series features a variety of themes to suit all musical tastes." The bike trail runs through Antelope Park at both ends, so this is a fun summer event to bike to. If you drive, there is some lot parking available, but it fills up fast & you may have to park on the grass. Make sure to bring a blanket (or lawn chairs), sunglasses, a stroller if you have young kids, and lots of bug spray. The band plays a lot of music popular with the older crowd, so you'll see lots of grandparents tapping their feet. If the kids get bored, there's a huge playground at this park and lots of space to run around. There are park restrooms available, but I'd recommend going to the bathroom before you leave the house.

Talking to some of the Haymarket staff during my wanderings, I learned that Hamlet was coming in February. Being a bit of a Shakespeare fan I planned a weekend trip for Bill and I down to Lincoln. Seats were cheap ($15/p) which is a great value for the entertainment we received. They have a small snack bar with adult beverages, which you can take into the theater. Seating is all open, and it wasn't too crowded - even on a Saturday night. This is what I'd call a casual type of theater. Interesting thing, we were some of the older crowd here also. But anyway, a good time was had.

If you are from Nebraska or are a Nebraska fan, this is THE place to be during college football season and the energy in this stadium is unlike anything else you will experience. The true Nebraska experience is here. The Runzas, to the Husker dogs, to the Valentino's pizza. Night games are my favorite because of the incredible light show. Hearing one half of the stadium yell HUSKER and the other half yell POWER is always super cool. The energy is truly electric and Husker fans are the most passionate best fan base there is!!! I am so proud to have gone to Nebraska and will always be a diehard Nebraska fan. To get to walk at graduation after completing my bachelor's degree in this stadium was very special to me. I have always gone to Nebraska games growing up with my Dad and it has always been one of our favorite places. I am grateful to Memorial Stadium for all of the memories of going to games with him as well as with my husband and friends. I truly don't think you can really understand what a Nebraska football game is like until you go for yourself, but I love telling people all about it. They're not even in the Big 12 anymore. Doesn't matter... That hurt runs deep. I was at that last heart breaker of a game at Jack Trice before Nebraska moved to the Big 10... That being said.... The campus and grounds around Memorial Stadium are inspiring. It's hard not to look up at those walls and not feel some respect for their football program with so many years of success behind it. We had met friends from Oklahoma in Lincoln. Terry's a huge football fan in general so I took him over to see the stadium and the Nebraska athletics hall of fame. They have burgers, fries, nachos, popcorn, chicken tenders and fries, Husker dawgs, Valentino's pizza, and more. My kid says they have time to read through script, audition, learn parts, relax, chat or color, make minor displays or props. So far, every experience has been a good one. Costumes are minimal, wear all black from home. Add hats, vests, etc to become your character. They even did mindful meditation together at one camp.
