The folks at Oak Tree Sheds and Gazebos came through with exactly what we needed. The most impressive part of the transaction was the person who actually delivered the structure. The opening between our driveway gates (once removed) is 10 feet two inches. The structure is 12x10. It took over two hours to move the building from the truck to the location where the structure needed to go. Fantastic attention to detail, patience and tenacity. This gentleman was amazing. The company advertises "built by the Amish", but I'm not sure if that is intended to be a warning or an enticement? The quality of the structure is a bit disappointing. Several roof joists were split/cracked and had to be repaired, and it is obvious from the way the roof is constructed; smaller sheds are adapted to size by adding multiple roof truss on either side of what was a smaller shed without a center ridge support. The truss is attached to the top of the base structure only. Several nails used for that purpose were bent over, or not attached to anything, when pigeon-towing into the structure. The windows were not secured well, you could see light coming through the side of the window and the structure and they had to be caulked as they leaked water when it rained. Overall not what I consider to be quality construction for the nearly six-grand we spent.

STORY BELOW. went to value city furniture of Manahawkin on 5/4/25 with my wife for a new couch, when we got there, we were instantly approached by GENE SERPENTELLI and was instantly asked what we "had to spend" and he would tell us what we could afford. which was red flag number 1, we ignored the question and continued to show him what we wanted, once we found a couch we wanted we explained to him that we were on a time restriction because our old couch had broken and we had to throw it out so we had no couch in our living room and we had guests staying at our house in the coming weeks. and we expressed the need for delivery asap and if it was not possible to get that couch within a month that we would search out another couch that would sooner be available. he then proceeded to tell us "Anything you want i can guarantee you delivery for whenever you need it" (of course this was only after he realized we were looking at higher priced couches which would increase his commission) so he told us the couch we wanted was a guaranteed delivery before 6/6/25 "by a week or two" and i asked him to please make sure or else id have to find another couch with a better delivery date. he then stated, "no worries its guaranteed". to which we continued with the deal and because we bought during the Memorial Day sale we were promised a 28-inch Blackstone griddle with the purchase which was also "guaranteed" delivery with the couches themselves. to which we agreed and once the deal was done and funded, i looked at the invoice for our purchase and it said "estimated delivery 6/6/25" to which i said " hey gene you told me guaranteed delivery 2 weeks before 6/6/25" to which gene replied with " oh no that's wrong" and proceeded to hand write on my carbon copy ONLY "before 6/6/25" with intent to DECIEVE me and TAKE ADVANTAGE of me as the customer. he told me he would keep in touch with me over the phone regarding delivery. we left the store feeling uneasy about our purchase and not feeling very confident in it. 2 weeks have gone by and i have not heard a word from GENE SERPENTELLI so i call the store and get the run around and he is either not there, not available at the moment and will call me back, which never happened he was terrible about following through once the deal got funded. eventually i complained enough and i called and got a hold of him to which he only then started to tell me that they were having a change of warehouse that they have known about for some time and that my delivery along with many others would be delayed a " few weeks" which i was very unhappy with because i was promised a delivery date. i then spoke to "management" MICHAEL TILLET i explained the whole situation and he said " well that sucks" there is a change in warehouse there is nothing we can do except keep calling them and ask them if it showed up in stock yet because they're moving all of their inventory from one place to another. i explained to him my urgency and what i was promised and how disappointed i was, to which he was assuring me that he would talk with GENE as they are "not allowed" to guarantee anything and that he would speak to GENE to see if he did in fact write on my invoice, supposedly gene confirmed he did do this so in turn, he also requested i email him a copy of my invoice with genes handwriting on it, showing that he wrote on my copy only intending to DECIEVE ME .my furniture showed up on 6/17/25 WITHOUT THE BLACKSTONE AS PROMISED ON DELIVERY. at this point i have been majorly inconvenienced. spoke again with MICHAEL TILLET to which he was rude and dismissive saying things like " there's nothing more to discuss the answer is no i cant do anything for you" " ill have someone call about your grill" and rudely hung up the phone... i will be reaching out to corporate!!!!! BUNCH OF LIARS AND THIEVES AND MICHAEL TILLET THE MANAGER ALLOWS THE SALEMEN TO LIE CHEAT AND STEAL FROM CUSTOMERS!!! So I checked the Lowes app and found the only store that had then within 50 miles was lowes Manahawkin. I called the store and punched the prompt for Bath. No one answered. Called the pro desk toget told what I knew that they showed 2. I asked for a visual check and was told they had to call me back as no one was picking up in that department. It was getting close to rush hour , so I decided to take a chance and head that way as it was an hour ride. Lowes did call back and said there were 2 on the shelf. I asked for them to pull one down as I was on my way and I needed to get back to my job as workers were waiting. I arrived to find not only wasn't it pulled, no one has a license to operate the lift and no attempt was being made to find a resolution. 45 minutes past and I made my displeasure more vocal. Finally a gentleman from appliance came over and used a different lift to get the box. I asked for a discount because of bad service and I was told they can't. If it wasn't for the fact that I had two workers on the clock waiting for me I would have waited for the manager. I spent over $234,000 at lowes last year and depot is no better. The installer didn't call me until 10 p.m. the night before the install to tell what the four hour window will be that they would come for the install. Fast forward to after the installation and the washing machine isn't drying the dishes even though I had manufacturer walk me through the settings to ensure that I had the heat function turned on. So last Wednesday morning, I call the Manahawkin store and get put through to the idiotic AI system, which finally says someone would call me that day to schedule the service call. No one called so at 8 p.m. I go to the store. Customer services tells me I have to go to appliances. Appliances says they just sell appliances, they don't provide any customer services. I go back to customer services and the people there insist that it's up to appliances to schedule the service call, but they take my number down and say someone will call the next day. Ok, so no one calls the next day so I call lowes back up at 4 p.m. Customer services explains that they weren't supposed to call me. Rather appliances was. So I get a manager on the phone to complain and he eventually transfers me to appliances which gives me a phone number to call for services. After being on hold with services for half an hour, I finally get through to someone who says they will send me an appointment time on the following day. Oh, and by the way, the people who will come out won't be repair techs. Rather they will be the installation team and if they can't figure out what is wrong they will get a tech to come out, which I'm sure would delay the repair a few more days and involve endless waits on hold with scheduling. So on Friday, I get an email saying the installation team will come between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday. On 4 O'clock on Monday, my renter says she received a message from the install team but it didn't say when they will come. She called back and got their answering machine and left a message. She also texted. So I call the service number and listen to a Lowe's employee blame everything on their installation vendor, Crest Home Solution (not to be confused with Crest Construction, who I used recently and was excellent) who finally transferred me to Crest Home Solutions. The person there said the installers called and my renter didn't answer, so they cancelled the service call, never mind that my renter tried calling them back and also texted them. So, now the best they can do is schedule another appointment for the install team three days from now. When I asked to speak to the Crest Home Solutions manager, I was told the manager only communicates via email! How's that for customer service! So I ask the telephone rep to have the manager email me and said he would let the manager know that he needs to email. Of course, the manager has yet to email me. Lowes and Crest Home Solutions are a total mess. Never buy an appliance from them.
