Afton took our family pictures last week and we could not be more happy! She captured the very best of our two year old playing with the fall leaves. Afton photographed the most beautiful, life changing, empowering experience of my life - the home birth of my second son. She came to my house when I called her to let her know I had gone into labor. It was a 17 hour labor, so there was a lot of down time for my birth team. She stayed with me and worked from my home while capturing the integral moments during my labor. She was very careful to stick in the background and out of the way when things got intense, and caught the most incredible memories of my birth. We also did a maternity photo shoot for me which also included photos of me nursing my 3 year old who was at the tail end of our nursing relationship. I'm so glad to have these photos. A few days after my baby was born, Afton came back to do a newborn shoot which turned out to be really adorable. She has an incredible eye and is a fantastic artist both with her photography and other visual art. Not only is she talented, but she really cares and is extremely professional.
