She also told me she was doing a deep clean but I only asked for basic services (laundry, dishes, change her linens, clean the bathroom, take out trash and sweep and mop.) I also asked if she could get Bette's mail. At first Anca quoted me $200-$250, but when she got there the quote went up to $300-$340 and that was very upsetting for 2 hours time. its a studio apartment but whatever, they came on short notice but definitely took advantage of the situation.

I'm unable to include as many details as I would like due to the word limit. But, long story short. There is something very off about Anca and this business. Anca became so aggressive that I eventually had to dial 911 - and repeatedly ask her to STOP! During the job, I began to notice areas that had been left unfinished, even though the ladies had turned down the lights to indicate the work was done. Upon reviewing, I was surprised to find residue on the counters, fibers on the glass, debris in the showers and on the floors, garbage bins that weren't emptied, and the use of the same bucket of water to mop every room without refreshing it. I asked them not to do this. We have allergies, and it's important to use fresh, hot, clean water. I also asked them to use our cleaning products, mainly because of our allergies. These cleaners are safe for us, and I have specific shower products that address mildew. Unfortunately, they ignored this request. In the kitchen, the cleaners did not move the countertop appliances or wipe the counters underneath them. Instead, they simply wiped around the appliances and neglected to clean the items on the counters. This is surprising--even for a standard weekly clean--but for a deep clean, it's unacceptable. In the bathrooms, while the showers were superficially cleaned, I could still see water spots and evidence of mildew. It's clear they did not use the cleaning products I specifically requested, which always leave a fresh scent and effectively remove mildew--yet the mildew remained. The floors were mopped, but not thoroughly cleaned; there was visible soap residue along the line of the bath table, and the table itself had not been wiped down at all. Once again, this was supposed to be a deep clean--one for which Anca wanted to charge nearly $1,000. She continued to raise her voice as I tried to explain that I've never had a cleaner who didn't know to make the beds as part of the service, or who cleaned the rooms so poorly. I also reminded her that we had discussed laundry beforehand, as this is an important part of our needs. Additionally, at the start of the cleaning, there were supposed to be four cleaners, but only three actually showed up. She interrupted me and said, "I'm not going to address that, so move on!" I responded, "No, I will not move on. These are standard steps in cleaning." While I was calmly explaining my concerns, she stepped into my personal space and raised her voice at me. I had to repeat myself three times, "STOP, STOP, STOP." Even one of her own employees felt bad and stepped in to apologize to me. I asked her to leave, but she refused, saying, "No, I will not leave." At that point, I began to dial 911. She finally sat down on our hallway bench, and I explained that her behavior and the incomplete job were both completely unacceptable. Not only did she fail to finish the work, but she chose to enter my home and raise her voice aggressively, making me feel threatened enough to call the police. It was also obvious that she had no intention of completing the cleaning, and I did not feel comfortable with her remaining in my home after her aggressive behavior. Given the circumstances and the condition in which she left the house, I told her I would not pay the amount she was loudly demanding. In fact, I was generous in suggesting $600, given the kitchen's poor condition and the photographic evidence of the subpar cleaning. At this point, I honestly believe something is seriously wrong with this so-called business and its reviews.

Scheduling and communication went smoothly, and the team completed the initial visit as planned. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the quality and thoroughness of the cleaning. Several areas appeared to have been missed entirely, including the refrigerator, shower doors, light fixtures, and portions of the flooring. There was still noticeable dust throughout the house, soap residue in the showers, mildew in the shower tracks, and even hair left in the drains. To their credit, the company did send cleaners back out after we raised our concerns, and the staff were polite and acknowledged the missed items. However, even after the second visit, we continued finding areas that had not been properly cleaned the first time -- including underneath toilet seats, shower glass tracks, and bathroom surfaces that still had soap buildup remaining. Overall, the service did not meet our expectations for a deep cleaning, especially given the cost. The technician was only there for about 1.5 to 2 hours, and the results were very disappointing. When the cleaning was finished, the technician mentioned there was one stain he could not remove. I wanted to inspect the work, but he kept ushering me out, saying, "It's wet," and assured me it was only a small stain that was barely noticeable. Unfortunately, I trusted him and made the mistake of not checking everything before he left. After the carpets dried, we discovered it wasn't just one small stain--there were several stains and spots that had not been removed at all. When we contacted the owner about the issue, instead of standing behind the work, he tried to charge us extra to address problems that should have been handled during the original cleaning. Our landlord then referred us to a different carpet cleaning company. They charged $350--half the price we paid--and cleaned the entire house properly. They were able to remove all of the stains that this company claimed could not be removed. To make matters worse, when my husband left an honest review about our experience, the owner responded with misleading statements, including claims about offering a "refund" that never happened. He also tried to argue over the difference between "spots" and "stains." Regardless of what terminology he wants to use, the fact remains that the marks on the carpet were not removed, and we paid a premium price for poor results. We overpaid, received subpar service, and then had to hire another company to finish the job correctly. Save your money and look elsewhere!!!

The carpet cleaner finished very quickly in about 2 hours and mentioned to my wife that there was one spot that he wasn't able to remove a stain. After closer inspection after he left (we were moving), turns out there were 6 stains that were not removed. I inquired about having them come back and completing the job and removing the stains but was told that it would cost more money to attempt to clean the stains. A different company came out and completed the stain removal with little issue. I'd give the cleaning crew a 5 star and the shampooing guy a 1 star. If you want your home cleaned well, I'd recommend. If you want your carpet shampooed, go somewhere else. Especially if they are charging a premium, essentially almost $350-$400 an hour is what it worked as. Also, I don't think the option of charging more money to complete the carpet cleaning was the appropriate remedy.
