After not even making it 5 steps out the store & trying to load it to our vehicle I noticed a HOLE at the bottom! It was not broken before but the fact that they even thought putting the furniture in a small plastic unsupported wheeler was fine? They kept dropping/tipping the furniture over resulting in it becoming more damaged. Honestly so frustrated since I really loved this furniture & now I can no longer have it. ZERO STARS!

I think whoever is merchandising this store needs a lesson…read moreOr two. The fact that carts can't even fit through the aisles without merchandise all on the floors and hitting stuff is crazy. Then all the endcaps are overloaded so when you pickup one item you're lucky if items don't fall off And it's hard to see what they even are selling when everything is rat packed. Then I went to checkout and the cashier was nice however: why are the pin pads not showing what the cashier is ringing up ? It's so shady then we were buying one clearance item and the tag was faded. Well the cashier asked the manager first help and I hear / see the manager take the tag off ( I guess the tag was for the wrong item ) so instead of her and the cashier communicating that they scanned it again full price. So when I saw that I said no I don't want it but she had scanned it twice anyway and only voided it once. So when I got the receipt handed to me I said you overcharged so she goes no I didn't you can double check. Sure enough I double check and she charged us for it so I had to go back to the register for a refund. Overall an annoying experience.

The house is tired and looking a bit dated. Built in 1986, we had updated our kitchen, but the…read morerest of the house needed a lift. Our contractor recommended we go to Floor & Decor in Woodbridge. First thing you notice...it is HUGE! Too many choices, too big a space. Bring a compass and a bottle of water, maybe a walking stick and wear comfortable shoes. If they don't have it, it is possible that no one does. How many shades of "gray" are there? Wasn't a book written on this? (Hint: More than 50). On our first visit, the store's operations manager April saw us lost amongst the laminates and vinyls. She gave us a quick tour, offered some advice, and pulled over "G" (he goes by G) and left us to it. G listened to our desire to replace floors in the basement, main and second floors and all our concerns and likes. He focused in what we thought we wanted, and with his patience we eventually found the flooring we needed. Along with quarter-round, transition pieces, underlayment and etc. Our second visit was for the master and 2nd bathrooms. This time we met with a design specialist, Imee. She looked at our pictures and our measurements and drawings, and then walked us through our color choices. On line we had seen "spa glass blue" and a vanity we liked for the second bath. For the master, my wife said "I like green". From these simple starts we bought tile, flooring, a vanity, edging, grout. Imee brought it all together, working with us to visualize our projects. Such projects are stressful enough. But the people at Floor & Decor were great to work with, so that we were confident in our decisions. If I can, I will add photos at a later date so you can see the results. 5 stars, would definitely recommend and will definitely shop there again.

The selections were poor at best, every item except the flooring and shower tiles was either on back order or discontinued. Even the floor tile we did selected was discontinued, but we were able to secure enough for our project. The vanity we selected and ordered was delayed, so we had to look for another vendor. The new vendor vanity was delivered in less than a week. Eventually the vanity we originally ordered did come in, but not until our bathroom was complete. Lastly, the value was very reasonable, and the only complaint I had was availability of product. Next time we would wait until all my items were on site before beginning the renovation. That said, I would certainly use them again.

Always 10/10…read more Always a fun stop! IKEA has stylish, budget-friendly furniture and clever storage solutions. We did our play room upgrade using the Kallax storage system, it's one of the best things. We also love touring the showroom, it gives me so many ideas for house projects.

I like the store and most of the products (Though shame on you IKEA for removing the Ektorp line…read morefrom North America and replacing it with the inferior Uppland line, yet continue carrying it overseas.) however their delivery vendors need better vetting. I have had extremely bad experiences twice - once in 2016 and now in December 2025. In 2016, I was given a delivery window and they did not show. I allowed a two hour grace period because I lived in Fredericksburg and IYKYK. But at hour four, I started looking for ways to contact the vendor. Back then, you could call customer service and get them to call the vendor and have them call you. The vendor called and said delivery was attempted but they could not locate the residence and I did not answer when they called. Not true. If you ever have waited for something like a scheduled delivery or service call, YOU SIT BY YOUR PHONE, RIGHT??? No missed calls. I asked to speak to the driver who then said they would have left it out front, but it did not look like a good area. In front of what? If the could not find it, how would they know what the area looked like. I sent photos of my street to show the management my side of the argument- they should have been able to locate it. Especially since I described the location in detail in delivery instructions along with my phone number if they had questions. My delivery fee was not returned and I declined redelivery. I went to IKEA in three trips and 50 year old, 5ft , girly me with no coordination and even less upper body strength dragged in two dressers, a cabinet, two bookcases, and a desk. Fast forward (or not) to today. My delivery window was 8-12. At 1:30 I tracked the delivery through the app, but all it gave me was the time window. It did give me the option to text the driver. I chose the custom text option (you can choose to have the driver call you or send them a custom text) and texted them to please let me know when they'd be arriving. At 1:45, chose the call me option. At 2:00, I texted, "CONTACT ME BY 2:15 TO TELL ME WHEN YOU WILL BE HERE OR THE TIP THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN CUT IN HALF WILL BE ZERO!" At 2:30, I get a text saying, "Sorry for the delay. On my way." I asked "When?" Thirty minutes later he texts back between 4-5 - when I can't be home. So he will have to leave it outside the garage and I'll get to drag it in then unbox and move pieces in bit by bit. I understand that things run behind (thus the two hour buffer). But if you can't deliver until 4 or 5pm (It's the DC Metro area...Vaya con Dios) then DON'T SAY BETWEEN 8am-12pm. If you can, order online and go pick it up at the order pick up queue. Much less of a headache.

We needed seating for our small apartment that could comfortably fit two people and a dog while also being practical and cozy. As a book girlie, I wanted something perfect for lounging with a good read, and that's when I came across the Ashley Stupendous Oversized Chaise--love at first sight! But the price on the manufacturer's site? Nearly $1,200 (not including delivery) and a 4-6 week wait. Determined to find a better deal, I scoured the internet. Facebook Marketplace? Shady sellers, sketchy vibes. Other discount sites? Either seemed fake, didn't ship to my location, or had questionable addresses (seriously, Google Maps had me side-eyeing some of them). Just as I was about to give up and pay full price, I decided to narrow my search to local stores--and that's when I found Z & R Furniture. At first, I thought it was another "too good to be true" site, but since I grew up in Woodbridge, I recognized the shopping plaza and knew it was legit. Could I have driven over to check in person? Sure. But let's be real--I had books to read. So, after running it by my boyfriend, we decided to go for it. Best decision ever. Our chaise arrived in just 2-3 weeks--way faster than the manufacturer's estimate--and the total price with delivery was under $1,000! The delivery process was seamless. They called my boyfriend 30 minutes out, then called me again when they were closer to confirm details. Once they arrived, they carefully unloaded the chaise and brought it straight into our living room without a hitch. Since we're right by the elevator, no stairs were involved, but the whole process was still super professional and efficient. I highly recommend checking out Z & R Furniture for your next big furniture purchase. Not only do you get great deals, but you're also supporting a local business--a total win-win!
