Worst trash company. Worst customer service. They last picked up my trash on 7.7.2023. Since then they are yet to pick up the trash. I called to cancel my service with them. The supervisor told me that they will have someone over to pick the trash and barrels today. I called in to know when they are coming, only to be told that they won't be coming until 7.31.23 because they are short of staff. This makes it 4weeks. No one called to inform us about the change. I am so frustrated with the company. I have a 2years old who still uses diaper. There worst customer service reps are Machado, COLLEEN GONSALVES and Nancy. They will lie to you. read more

have been using ABC/Harvey disposal for 5 years. Recently cancelled service due second rate hike without any kind of notification. Cancelled service 01/24/23 was originally told barrels would be picked up 02/02/23...still no pick up. Now being told 03/09/23. What a horrible company, today I went to take trash and the prices went up by 3x last year this time I paid $45 to take less than 2k lbs, the same weight I took today and they charged me $190 wtf!!! This is why people are taking the trash in the streets because people don't poop money. read more

The absolute worst service. They have missed either recyclables or trash with every pickup. Customer service is deplorable they say they are going to call you back they never do. Recently purchased a house in Plymouth and I've been trying to get ABC Disposal to remove their bins used by the previous owners from my property since 8/1, but they keep missing the pickup and rescheduling to the next week. I asked if they could make an exception and pick up their bins today as they missed yesterday and they said "no". This interaction makes sense based on their already poor reviews. read more

Was staying in a rental in Oaks Bluff and stored our FULLY packed suitcases and backpacks (all with luggage tags) against the property owners storage shed, where she had directed us to leave them, until check-in time. When we returned two hours later, all our belongings were gone. We finally determined that ABC had "disposed" of our luggage via a neighbor's observation, though not placed anywhere near the refuge bin. Immediately contacted ABC and the MVPD who spoke with the truck driver, who admitted he had "assumed" all four clearly tagged and fully loaded pieces were trash; and claimed, that all our bags were already on a barge to the mainland. Our renter assured us that ABC is only responsible for the waste in the almost empty barrels and the homeowner had no clue why ABC would pick up other items on their property; nevermind fairly new, tagged, and fully loaded luggage that was obviously not trash. After we filed a police report, ABC management agreed to compensate us for their error and had us create a list with current values of our belongings, which included prescription glasses, an IPad, two weeks worth of clothing, makeup, accessories, contacts, etc. and they would compensate us for their error. Not surprisingly, after three days of living with just the clothes on our back and a few thrift shop and frequent assurances they would compensate us for our losses, "tomorrow," ABC abruptly decided NOT to compensate us for any of our loss. Horrible, deceptive company...that doesn't follow through on promises or give restitution for their admitted errors. I'd also guess the driver "disposed" of our 21" suitcases (which each weighed close to 40lbs), backpacks and all our belongings right into his own home. Would never recommend this company and locals who we shared our story with were also appalled and had their own ABC horror stories. read more

absolutely unreliable company. trash gets picked up about half the time. the other half the time, they will come up with excuses with no solutions while you sit with your trash bins piling up week after week. oh, the kicker is: they do not pick up trash that's not inside the barrels! they filed for bankruptcy just a few years ago and looking at their business quality it makes total sense. ABC Disposal has been our garbage pickup company in Fairhaven for as long as i can remember, always professional, sometimes a new driver might forget our street (it happens ) i call they come out right away. We used their dumpsters for big cleanups too. read more

Very irresponsible trash pickup for two weeks they have not taken trash not reason why and they are open to 5pm but no one answers the phone after 3pm. So it sucks that we are forced to use this company because of our great city. read more

My town switched to abc and is the only company we are allowed to use. They give us a small trash can when we needed a bigger one. It is half the size of our previous one from umm(Dooley). They charge extra 95 for additional trash can . We are a family of 6 and need a larger one. I put out another trash can we had and they emptied it. Hopefully it stays this way read more

Be careful with this firm, I stopped using there service in Jan. Of 19 and they never sent a bill for the two pickups in Jan. 10 months later they call and say I owe them money, I say it would have been nice to receive a bill, so I paid it. Now oct of 20 they call and say I owe them money, I am like how is that even possible if I haven't used your service. read more

I generally try to give businesses the opportunity to redeem themselves after hiccups in service, quality, etc. Nobody's perfect, right? I have given this company multiple opportunities to redeem themselves, and unfortunately, they have not been able to rise to the challenge. The number of missed or delayed trash pickups with this company is alarming. Imagine if you were engaged- people literally pay you- to do something and you simply do not do it? Or better yet, imagine being engaged to do something, being told multiple times via call and email that you aren't doing what you were engaged to do, promising to fix it, not fix it and still charge your customer? I gave this company multiple opportunities to turn it around- they never did, so I cancelled my contract. Whoever runs this company should reassess staffing, infrastructure, etc. Otherwise, close your doors- you have no business being in business. read more

I used their dumpster in 2017, with no issues, this year 2018 was the complete opposite. They came a day before we scheduled the pickup, I was not done with filling it up. Then the driver stated is I do not take it today we will pick it up next week sometime. I stated I scheduled a pickup for tomorrow, he did not care at all. We had a party on weekend and need it removed. The next day I called them repeatedly and no one would confirm that the dumpster would be picked up. We had to wait until after 6pm for someone to pick it up. After over dozen calls. They were so rude on the phone. To add a month after this happened I received additional weight chargers. The dumpster was not full in fact the year before I paid less and it was filled. They did not provide any details as to the weight just I had to pay because they said so. I will NEVER use them again. Very Irresponsible and careless emptying their dumpster. While emptying the dumpster trash flew out landing on my truck causing $1500 of damage. Upon filing a claim with ABC disposal they were very unresponsive and denied causing damage and refuse to pay. Would you use them beware!!! read more

I using ABC for residential waste pick-up and have always been delighted with their customer service. The folks I deal with in their corporate office are great and our route driver made a special return trip to our home the day after Thanksgiving to pick up our trash because I put the container out a little later than I should have. I appreciate the extra effort demonstrated by the company and the driver to make this customer a happy one! read more

I have been a customer for 10 years and am extremely satisfied with everything about their service. Full size recycle and trash rolling barrels. They have never missed a pick up. They send a calendar at the beginning of the year so you know when they will cover holidays. Their prices are the best of the companies I called. When we had less trash they even offered biweekly pickup at a reduced cost. Office workers all seem to know what they are doing. Straight forward website. Reliable pickup of bulky items. read more

I met with a salesman was told me a certain price for the size dumpster I order. I was then charged a larger amount I called salesman again said it was a mistake and would take care of the added charge. I had the dumpster picked up and order the same size delivered again at what I thought was the agreed price. But again they charged me more then the agreed price that I was told. Called salesman again now he tells me after I have had two dumpsters delivered that he had made a mistake about the price, I told him that he should honor the price that he had given me at first and that I thought it was a rather deceptive sales practice. He told me he would talk to the girls in the office about this. So thinking I would be credited for the over payment I ordered a third dumpster same size as the first two that were delivered. Another mistake on my part I got a call from a girl in the office who told me that the original price only allowed for a two ton max . So I either had to pay the higher price or they were going to charge me more for the weight. I now paid $1600.00 on what should have been a total of $1200.00. Don't make the same mistakes I did there are better deal out there. read more

NOT happy with ABC disposal. They think they are the cable company. Charging 50% higher fees than their competition, punishing loyal responsible customers with higher and higher prices and fees! Unless, you call and complain then they'll match the completion. I had been a loyal customer for about 15 years. The fees kept rising. then, they added a fuel surcharge because of the high prices back in 2008. well the price of fuel came way down and guess what, the fee never got reduced, let alone removed! In fact it went up and up and up! nearly $10/month. Then they added a $4/month admin fee! they want to charge me $4 to send me a bill!! I was paying automatically with them! they finally reached the last straw when the cost went up $20/month. So I was at $94/month for 2 collections. I called around and found every company i called, for the same service, same bin, same collection, was between $60 and $67 per month. I called to complain and they offer to match the competition but, my trust was lost. I'll never recommend and actually plead with people I know to find another provider! There is nothing to keep you with these guys! It so easy to change, call tell them to come get their bin and call another reliable trustworthy service provider. easy peasy! Oh, i cancelled the service on January 3rd, the first business day of the year and they charged me $54!!!! They are trying to dig their way out of chapter 11 I guess. all the other companies said "your monthly fee is your price, no added service charges, ever!." Good bye!
