I would never recommend this company to anyone and urge you to think twice before using them for your event. I had placed a large order for my wedding, including tables, chairs, a large tent, and more. The delivery was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon for my Friday afternoon wedding. Wednesday afternoon came and passed with no follow up from the company. Thursday came and quickly passed with no communication from the company. Myself and my wedding coordinator continually reached out and could not get an answer as to when they would arrive and there were fears they were not going to come and the wedding would have to be canceled, as due to the lack of communication, we had no idea what was going on or if they still were planning to come. They finally arrived around midnight on Thursday evening/Friday morning, roughly a mere twelve hours before the wedding was supposed to start. This led to a domino effect for other areas of our wedding, due to our coordinator and other helpers having to be at our location all night to assist with ensuring the set up went well once they arrived. I understand delays may happen, but the lack of communication was disgusting. Even after the wedding when I reached out to the company to explain my disgust, was basically told too bad and the company did not seem to care at all. There are many other rental companies you could utilize, I suggest giving your hard earned money to any of those over this company. read more

ABC Party Rentals was outstanding in their service of providing 50 chairs a large fan and 4 tables for Gospel Music in the Park in August. They were professional, the pieces were clean and it was a pleasure doing business with them. I highly recommend them for any party needs you may have. They are also nice - which goes a long way. Norman, the owner is the nicest man I've ever done business with. However, his crew were the most surly and unprofessional I ever met. They left bottles full of urine on my property during set up. During breakdown, they left their lunch trash all over my property. I have a picture of the trash they left and pictures of them sleeping in my backyard. During set up, Norman suggested that if I were so inclined I could buy them some pizza. I agreed - I'm a nice person and I knew the job they were doing was very involved. So, I did buy them 2 large pizza pies. So, I do feel a sense of betrayal that they would treat me and my property so disrespectfully. I understand their language, and they keep complaining about their boss the entire time! The tent, floor, and some of the furniture were not clean either. The reason for 3 stars is because my event was fantastic and the tent held out the downpour we experienced. And because Norman was so nice. He deserves to have a better crew. If you're looking for a vendor who will pass you along from one of their sales reps to another, losing information, failing to keep you informed and ultimately backing out of your event ... then look no further. I e-mailed ABC Fabulous Events over two weeks ago, speaking to Naomi. After minimal correspondence, Hannah came into the picture; slightly more on top of my needs, but soon thereafter forwarded my inquiry to Marge who in turn said that Isaac would be the one to handle my event. Being bumped back over to Hannah the week of my event (still without an updated proposal), she assured me that we would be good to go, that Isaac is on top of my event and insisted that I cancel my order with a local competitor. 24 hours later, I left two messages and one e-mail for Isaac asking for a proposal only to receive a cold, short, email this afternoon saying "The equipment is no longer available." Do not rent from this company! Customer service does not exist and they could care less about your satisfaction! This weekend I rented tables and chairs for my mother's 85th birthday. Due to Covid and the elderly nature of our guests, we asked for tables large enough to socially distance all involved. Upon delivery, we realized the tables delivered were not large enough or suitable to accommodate this. Approximately 20 minutes after delivery, we tried to reach the office to evidence our dissatisfaction and to see what might be done to accomplish this. We wanted to switch out the tables delivered for larger ones to insure the health and safety of our older guests. There was no one in the office and our call was answered by the office answering machine. How can this be? The table and chairs were just delivered! Could no one be there to support this service call?? An hour later, we phoned back again desperately trying to make our event work out right and still no one answered the call. It is now Sunday evening and no one has called to express care or consideration. Our feeling is, if you rent to the general public, you need to provide customer service and accountability to the general public. Emailed my list for a quote, called THREE times with a promise of a return email and call. NOTHING I have used them for every graduation party and large Thanksgiving I have had. I guess they no longer need my orders. Is service for 25, chairs, tables, linens, heaters, glassware, coolers, etc too small an order these days?? read more

When I returned the off-the-shelf tablecloths, untouched, the day after I rented them because we didn't need them, Norman said we weren't eligible for a refund but that he would 'speak to the boss'. I'm pretty sure Norman is the boss. I even explained that it was for a charitable fundraiser, and I did warn him that I was a Yelp user, but it obviously fell on deaf ears. After not hearing back, I called and Hannah told me we would be issued only a 50% refund (the order was $240). I would have understood a small re-stocking fee, but $120 was unacceptable. She said someone would call me back but again no one did. So, now I must advise anyone seeking party supplies DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are unresponsive and dishonest, and sleezy! read more

Used them a couple of weeks ago for an event in my house. Was really impressed where how nice and friendly the workers were. Everything was delivered nice and efficiently. Some chairs were a bit nicked here and there but overall everything was beautiful. Used them a bit after for a tent and enjoyed there service once more. I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad, but they are quite old so maybe things have changed now. My experience with Norman and his company was fantastic! Due to a mix-up with my party planner, I had actually found out 2 weeks before my event that nothing had been booked! Norman, with his extremely calm demeanor, made what would've been a very stressful situation very easy. He is very efficient and knows what he's doing - he always made sure to answer my emails within a few hours, and even if he didn't pick up his phone when I called, he would always call back in a day or two (it was the high season so I wouldn't expect a call back instantly as I understand he was very busy). His workers were all courteous as well, and they were very efficient when it came to installing the tent and collecting all the equipment after my event. Norman himself came to my house a few days before my event with a variety of bowls for me to choose from (I didn't like any of the ones he had shown me previously). I really appreciated that effort he made for me and it shows how dedicated he is to doing a good job for his customers. I would definitely work with Norman and ABC Fabulous Events again! read more
