ABC Liquors is a good liquor store that is clean, friendly and has plenty of parking. Maybe one of the reasons so few have Yelped it is that it is located within a mobile device dead zone as is most of Inverness. Then, for me, their vodka displays are confusing. You best read the labels carefully as the apple, blueberry etc. are all mingled together in a rather difficult to discern pattern. Also for me too, somewhat lacking as my favorite "Russian" (brand name) was unavailable. read more

Inventory is declining and twice now I placed a mobile order only to go pick it up and find out they didn't have some of the items listed online as in stock. Most recent two visits have been disappointed by the new shift lead. People skills are marginal at best especially in resolving order errors. Today in picking up my vault order he never once stopped texting on his cell phone while handing me my order. Sad in that everyone else there is genuinely pleasant and helpful. Not sure how he made shift lead but as long as he is there I will be dealing with the Crystal River ABC store. read more

ABC Liquors has been doing it right for many years at this location. Over the years, they have changed though. Once they were located on the corner lot in a small store attached to a lounge that had a huge circular rotating bar in the center and a dance floor (now I'm talking 1980ish). My point is, they knew when to move on and keep things fresh. They rebuilt this wonderful store and it already has been renovated since to keep things new again over the years. I can't wait to see what they come up with for the next 20 years! Putting innovation aside and looking at their offerings, I found a few hard to find spirits, beer, and wine here over the years. The staff is very willing to order you a special bottle if you can't find it in their store's inventory and will research it for you (as long as it's a product any ABC has access to). There is also a cigar humidor room and they carry mixers, cocktail garnishes, glassware, gift sets and snacks. They do price match if you're into that. They also have a shoppers rewards club that will get you cash off, but it's hard to use even though they ask you if your a member every time you purchase something. If you are into microbrews and import beer they used to stock a lot more than they do now, but you can find just about all the common stuff you can think of. If you are just looking to try something different, there's plenty to try out stocked on the shelf. Huge place, but still easy to navigate because it's not a warehouse store. Nice selections. Good prices (really good if you find sale items you drink or want to try.) Great customer service. Lastly, if you use the online ordering (can't wait for an App to be developed) you can browse, order, and pay online then drive up, stay in your car, call the number to let them know you're in the designated parking spot and they will bring it out to you. This is a nice, large, clean location. Lots of parking available and the interior of the store isn't overcrowded. The staff member that we met was nice and offered to help if there was anything we needed. So with all that good stuff, why do I only give it 3 stars. The beer selection is disappointingly small, it was one short row (both sides). It is comparable in variety to the local Publix grocery store. We truly did leave ABC and go to Publix to see what they had. Yes, ABC had some things that Publix didn't, but Publix also had some craft beers that ABC did not have. A big draw to shopping at ABC for me is being able to buy single bottles/cans of craft beer before having to purchase an entire 6- or 12-pack. Here, they do have this available as well, but the number of beers that are in open packs that you can select from is so minimal it was very disappointing. This town now has a brewery and has several pubs/bars that offer a wide selection of craft beers, and are always busy when I go or drive by. I can only hope that this ABC location follows suit in seeing what residents are interested in and increase their selection of craft brews. Until then, I will make the drive 20-30 minutes to the stores that have a larger selection available when I am in the mood for something different. The liquor selection is great though and I will continue visiting for my cocktail needs. I don't know anything about wine - but there seemed to be a lot of it as well. read more

Not much I can say here. The staff is always pleasant and they have a pretty good selection of beer, wine, liquor, and cigars. A private parking lot that has limited access from SR-44, but plenty of parking spots. read more

Well, the selection of wines are good, the prices are reasonable, but the "manager" as he calls himself is completely useless and unprofessional. They send out coupons to your email, and if you happen to get it after you make your purchase and return to get your bill corrected and try to get your free bottle of wine as advertised, he tells you , sorry "hon", nothing we can do about it. Not a very helpful store, Crystal River ABC is way way more helpful and accommodating. read more

No problems with the staff, but I am disappointed that they took away case pricing and now my $2 rewards. I spent over $300 the past month and could not even get my $2 reward because it was one day after cutoff! They say MORE COUPONS AND DEALS!!!! Well we will see. read more

Bright clean store with huge selection of beer, liquor and wine. Terrific selection of wines - beat in this area - and low prices. The employees recommended two red blends, both of which were among the best wines I've bought this year! read more

I gave a bad review back in 2012 to ABC in Inverness. We have been shopping there the past few months and they have turned it around. They are awesome now and have been outstanding since we have tried them again. Great people with good prices, keep up the good work!!! read more
