I've shopped here often, (the cashier even said she remembered us from last weekend. )but my recent visit was upsetting. My boyfriend (35) showed his valid ID, but the cashier demanded mine (34) too even though I wasn't buying. When I didn't have it, they refused the sale. The problem is not the policy, the problem is that from the beginning the manage Jose seemed to have a problem, When my boyfriend approached him at the cash register he was giving him an attitude and seemed like he did not want to help. He then pointed at another lady to come and help us without even saying anything and walking away. What makes it even worse is that a couple with two small children bought a FULL cart of alcohol (in the photos) without being asked for IDs for everyone in their group. So clearly, the policy was not applied equally -- it was applied selectively, and it felt discriminatory. When I asked for the manager, which turned out to be Jose, He was smirking the entire time and made an unnecessary and inappropriate comment saying that while he "wasn't making assumptions," it was "clear that those are those peoples kids and that I wasn't my boyfriend's daughter." That comment was offensive and unprofessional. Their posted rule (photo included) says anyone who looks under 30 may be asked for ID. We are both well over that age and he obviously could tell we are the similar in age with his assumption. This situation had nothing to do with policy and everything to do with poor treatment and bias. read more

Great store selection of wines and adult beverages. Was looking for a gift for a client and was looking for help from one of the employees who were working at the time. She did not acknowledge the fact that we came in or that we were asking questions, she just flat out ignored us. Another employee saw what was going on and stopped stocking a shelf and helped us out. Having bought a $130 bottle for someone you would think that most people woulve just gone to another store but time was of the essence so we purchased it anyway. Next time I will allow myself some extra time and go to the Total store at Town and Country. read more

Not my favorite liquor store but not horrible either. Every time I come if I ask for help the staff is more than willing to help out. This time around I came in to buy some wine. Found it rather quickly. It was a common wine so those are located in the front. Everything in the store is well labeled and easy to find. They do have a nice assortment of craft beer. Not the biggest I have seen but they do have enough. You are able to create your own six pack as well. Don't remember if they offer a discount on the six pack. This store is near my families house so I don't mind dropping in from time to time. Also when I order from DRIZLY (liquor/beer delivery service) they do get their liquor from ABC so I do have to be thankful for that! read more

Unfortunately I have to switch my review, as I was repeatedly approached by one of the people working here for shopping with a reusable bag. I shop everywhere with reusable bags to minimize my use of plastic ones, but this person had a problem with it, apparently. When I asked where does it it say I can't have the reusable bag, she just said "they prefer customers to not have it." When I inquired further, I found out they were doing so to avoid theft. Way to assume someone would steal just for having a reusable bag. read more

I had this store in my yo go list for a while and on Saturday I passed to finally check it out. I liked it so much because it's ample space, very organized, extremely helpful and happy staff, vast variety of liquors, wine and everything with great prices. As I was walking through this store I was mesmerized by the impecable "Wine Vault". Of course, I have not seen something like that and I loved it. Also, they have a station to try their wines before you buy them. I went too early but I want to go again To try that too. Check out my pictures. It's like Total Wine's little effervescent brother. Craft beers galore. I like to build my own six pack because I prefer to fine-tune my hobbies these days in age. Nice cold prosecco worth a shot just waiting for you with a sale sticker occasionally placed on it. If you're anything like me then you'll get your rewards card to the earn points on more fun stuff like beer. There's always someone willing to help out and the selection is mighty fine. Sure they're not as vast as T Dub's (Total Wine) but its got gusto and carries a ton of yummy stuff to inspire you to grab a cart & just go for it. Parking is super easy and they have carts and boxes for your precious booze. The best precursor to a Netflix&Binge phase is a trio here. They have everything & then some. read more

I had gone to this store a while back to get some holiday bottles for my accounts at work (I'm a sales rep) and everyone was nice. I went back with my brother to get things for his groomsmen and everyone in the store was absolutely amazing especially Gabriel and Lanette. So nice and helpful. Everyone was excited to help us and we left so happy. I will be going there from now on for all my party drinks. Friendly staff, nice selection. They even have a lot of snacks like chocolate, nuts, etc. to guarantee a fun party. Juices for cocktail (or if you should somehow just want some Tropicana...) Cheese too though the selection is rather limited there. Went there yesterday and was amazed at their selection of pumpkin beers, available in single bottles, large bottles and six pack. Yay! As for wine, naturally the selection is not as large as Total but still pretty good, and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I generally like to leave positive reviews, but when I'm treated poorly, I just have to speak up. My wife and I went to this ABC store to buy some cigars and wine We were looking for full boxes of our favorite cigars, but only they only had partial boxes. We chose two partial boxes (and kept the cigars in the partially full cigar boxes, buying all they had in stock) and ww found a nice bottle of Spanish wine. Unfortunately. as we were standing in a long line at the cash register, the manager, I think, came by and started barking at us for taking the cigar boxes. She barked that one of the cigar boxes was part of their inventory and must be left on the humidor shelf. The other cigar box she did not care about and we could keep. This person had ZERO customer service skills. She treated my wife and I as if she was doing us a favor by her allowing us to shop at her store. Of course, we stepped out of the long line, placed our items on a nearby shelf, and left the store. We went to a nearby Total wines and found the same cigars, in full boxes, and at at a better price, plus a better selection of Spanish wine. Thank you, that rude ABC employee, for encouraging us to go a bit further to Total Wines, where we were treated like valuable customers, and saved money too! read more

Superbowl Sunday, 5 o'clock and no beer!!! In the middle of this code orange crisis I found ABC, thank the beer Gods! I walk into this huge supermarket of booze and I'm in awe! I walked over to the fridge with the beer and I breathe a sigh of relief! After browsing for a bit I decide on Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Blue Moon and a nice bottle of Delirium Tremens. Super close to where I live so that's why I went here. 4stars because of their selection and cleanliness. They are super organized and well stocked. They have all types of liquor including sake. I didn't see any soju tho (Korean vodka). I prefer soju than sake because it is not as bitter. Le beau and I came here to pick up some beers and they have quite the selection of beers and craft beers. You can also mix and match and get 15% off with their reward card. Their selection is not as big as total wine but definitely a good selection and I don't have to drive as far. As for prices I believe total wine still wins. read more

After experiencing Total Wine, it's a bit hard to see other liquor stores as good. ABC is quite good though. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. They have a rewards card as well. We just found that there is another ABC near our new apartment in Doral. It actually seems larger than the one in Kendall. We shall explore that soon. read more

ABC is only place i'll go when it comes to alcohol! Its big and bright and the people there are really helpful. It has clearly marked areas for all types of drinks. They have something to suite everyone's tastes(wine, beer, pre-mixed, things to mix with, cigars, cheese, snacks, garnishes... and the list goes on and on). On my lunch break I drive past this place every day - and seeing as how I'm on a pumpkin beer kick, I stopped in. This store is huge; which is why it being spotless is so impressive. I find a large selection of pumpkin beer, and realized I don't know but 3 of the brands (sold at publix - I'm horrible, I know). SO I am a big fan of Bethenny Frankel from the RHONY, and her own show Bethenny Getting Married, so obviously when she created a drink I wanted to jump all over it, yet the only place that supplies her drink is ABC. Fortunately there is one 5 minutes from my house, and when I walked in, it was alcohol heaven. Man oh man this place is huge! The beer selection is above average, although I think it could be expanded a bit. My favorite part about ABC is that it's a one-stop-shop. Total Wine has a better selection & customer service. Went on Friday (09/30) morning during my work break & find out they were only accepting cash. OK No problem. Went to the ATM & got cash. They tried to scan my Rewards cards & no go. OK No problem. Went there because I had a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase. Asked the manager/owner (he's always there) if they would honor the coupon if I came back the next day when the computers were working (coupon expired on Sunday 10/2) and the dude told me "sorry" he cant.
