Cute little wine shop literally across from the JW Marriott Miami, better liquor selection than wine. Although I saw the 1973 Chateau Palmer and first growth 1995 Chateau Haut-Brion, impressive! We picked up a bottle of 2010 Grand Riserva Rioja bottle for a reasonable priced. Will be back when we in need of wine while in town. They offer cigars and coffee, as well as a restaurant next door too!

UH OH!! this is a dangerous business to have soooo close by! this liquor (& cigar) store, a little hidden gem just off Brickell, has changed names and management several times but something tells me that this time things are different! the ownership/management are all so friendly, well-informed on their stock (and their craft) and so accommodating & helpful - they'll take the time to talk to you, make recommendations, even stock certain items if the demand is there and you request it. I'm thrilled that they are actually putting effort into making the business a success with their EXTREMELY knowledgeable staff, their tastings every other week (varying from wine to tequila to vodka), and promoting themselves with an email mailing list. not only do they have an surprisingly decent and varied selection of liquor, beer, and wine available in the store - surprisingly good considering the smaller size of the store - but they also have very reasonable prices as well as a good sized cigar selection (& cigarettes too). there is also outdoor seating, so should you wanna stay and hang out a while, you could....and I'll tell you (between the beverages, the cigars, and the staff), you just might want to!!

At this place, the evening always starts off like this and it couldn't be anymore simple. I walk by it with my boyfriend and say, "Hey, let's go in for one drink." He nods his head yes and we walk in. You know what we just did there? We fucking lied to ourselves. A straight up lie in every word. Why? Because you can't just have one drink here. It's damn near impossible and I'll explain to you why. First off, cocktails. They've got cocktails and they are good. Are they extremely fancy? Nope. But they'll get the job done nicely and you'll enjoy every sip. What's even better is that you won't be paying Brickell prices. Who can complain when you're getting quality ingredients and alcohol at a reasonable price? Serve me another, bartender. Secondly, the people who work here are just friendly and easy to get along with, from the owners to the staff. They want you to enjoy your drinks and your time at their bar. If you want to chat with them, they're all for it. If you want to watch a game or a show on the flatscreen TVs they have on the wall against the bar or by the couches, they'll accommodate you. And if you just want to chill outside/inside and talk with your friends, they'll make sure you're comfortable. It honestly feels like home. Alternatively, if you just want to buy your own liquor or beer and take it up to your place to enjoy, they'll be happy to recommend a bottle from their selection that's fairly priced. Don't drink alcohol you say? Well, they serve up a mean cup of coffee or espresso. Bottom line, if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere to get your drink on, be sure to stop by Aficionados. Who knows, maybe you'll lie to yourself, too, like I do every time. But oh does this lie taste so gooooooodddd.

Cigar lounge, coffee shop + liquor store!

Such a cool spot. A bar, a liquor store, a coffee shop and a cigar lounge. we didn't stay long, fiancé just wanted to grab a cigar. He found one that was $10 and is normally $20 in NY. He was excited about that. I was excited that they had a coffee selections. We were disappointed that he couldn't smoke his cigar in the lounge, that would've made it four stars for sure. I love the concept. Super cool. Although the fiancé did mention that the cigar was stale/old?

This is not a cigar store or lounge. You cannot smoke inside, and they only have four options of cigars to purchase.

Best liquor store in Brickell! It's only 3 blocks from my place and they are the best! They deliver, rewards program is offered.

Bad neighborhood. Went to look for alcohol but was hit by someone peeing off their balcony.

So it's a Cigar Bar but you can't smoke the Cigar on the premises?

Unfortunately no but we have tables outside where you can have a smoke and cocktail. Cheers

The chicken parm is quite good and a large portion. Can be shareable between 2-3 people. The service was pretty quick on a quietish weeknight.

It was a frozen concoction of fresh pineapple and strawberry juice with wine based liquor and it was divine. I usually stay away from frozen drinks out of fear of sugar concentrated juices, but the fresh juices made the drink such a delight. I was a happy camper knowing I had another one coming after my first one. They make wine based cocktails that aren't very far from the real deal, so it's a great way to find some favorite drinks without going down the liquor rabbit hole. I had the meatballs which came swimming in a tasty marinara with a side of crusty bread. The meatballs were seasoned just right and perfect to munch on with my drink and the red wine that came afterwards. I mopped up the sauce with the bread and have no regrets. The staff and management knew I was holding a book club meeting and gave us a beautiful partially enclosed space with a table to seat 10 people surrounded by shelves of wine that they sell. If you order a bottle and it's a red, they'll take it right off the shelf and open it for you. Sometimes they have a half off wine bottle promotion, so it's good to go and check out what they have going on! The manager Rebecca and her staff took great care of a rambunctious group of hungry and thirsty bookworms and made us feel very welcome. I can't wait to hold another meeting there as an excuse to return!

Lost Boys is one of my favorite local bars. I have been coming here for years so long overdue…read morereview. I have been watching the World Cup games here and it has been very fun. I want to say the staff waiting the tables, bar, and kitchen have done an amazing job always friendly even when at times the bar was fully packed they were all troopers and gave amazing service. The biggest thing for me was the overall energy and engagement from the staff. I'm naturally a pretty social and engaged person, especially when I'm sitting at a bar, and I made an effort to interact with the bartenders. I just didn't really feel that same engagement coming back. Nobody was necessarily rude or disrespectful--it just felt disconnected, and the energy was a little strange to me. I also didn't realize until I tried to pay that the bar doesn't accept cash. Maybe that was posted somewhere and I missed it, and once they told me, it wasn't a big deal. But little things like that, combined with the overall interaction, affected the experience. Another thing I didn't realize until receiving my check was that gratuity was already included. I wasn't verbally told about it, and I personally didn't see it disclosed anywhere beforehand. From my understanding, an automatic gratuity or service charge is required to be disclosed to the guest before the purchase, not something they should only discover when they receive the check. Maybe there was a notice somewhere that I missed, so I'm not saying there wasn't one, but I definitely wasn't aware of it. I think that's an important thing for guests to know upfront, especially because someone could easily add another tip without realizing gratuity was already included. Ironically, the one person I genuinely connected with and had a good conversation with was another guest at the bar, not a member of the staff. That interaction actually helped make my time there more enjoyable. For me, hospitality is about more than serving a drink. Especially when someone is clearly open, friendly, and trying to engage, that's an easy opportunity to create a connection and turn a first-time guest into someone who wants to come back. I felt like I gave plenty of opportunities for that interaction, but it just never really happened. I still had a good time because I can have a good time pretty much anywhere, and nothing happened that would make me say Lost Boys is a bad bar. It just didn't feel like the staff cared much about enhancing the experience beyond serving the drinks. So four stars because I respect what the place is and can see why it works as a neighborhood bar. It just didn't give me a reason to come back, and personally, I don't think I would.
