It is extremely disjointed and disorganized. Nothing is planned ahead so if you aren't checking your 6 different inboxes for info from the school you are bound to miss something. But they do make sure to text multiple times to remind you if you leave your kid there after closing on Tuesdays is $5 per minute. So if they want you to receive a message they know how to send it but if it doesn't benefit them you can expect to go hunting for any info you need. The director is cold and short. I couldn't wait to get my kid out of the school. Nothing like what it says on paper. Mrs. Helen is also a horrible teacher she has no patience or care for children. She shushes our child many times when he needed assistance resulting in traumatic experiences that could have easily been avoided if she had any capacity to work with small children.

They are amazing at making sure he gets fed on a schedule and everytime I come to pick him up he's listening to classical music or a fun kids channel. The babies will all be sitting in a circle playing with toys or looking in a mirror. He gets his own crib for naps. The class is also small which is nice. It is hard to leave your baby with somebody else, but I don't worry about him because I know he's in great care! Prices are affordable and comparable to nearby places. I pay $155 a week for full time care. They were also able to get me in without a lot of notice too!

A review is a bit overdue, now that we've been with Kid's First for 2+ years. Kid's First has been…read moremy #1 choice for daycare for my three children (ages 3y, 18m, and expected newborn). I consider them part of our family and value their role in my children's lives. Every single teacher in the center knows and interacts with my children lovingly and as if they were their own. Management and teachers have always been professional, responsive, and considerate. Procare is used to provide updates and photos on their daily activities, and funny stories/info on their days are also shared during pick-up/drop-off, always keeping me - and even Grammy - involved. Communication lines are always open and parent-teacher conferences are offered regularly. Activities indoors and outdoors are plentiful, allowing my kids to burn their massive amounts of energy. Meals are kid-friendly while meeting and exceeding State standards for healthy meal plans. Any concerns are resolved promptly. I've never had to question the safety - physical, emotional, or otherwise - of my children while in their care, and any incidents between children are well-documented and handled appropriately. The facility is clean and maintained, providing a sanitary environment. Teachers are trained regularly, and turnover is infrequent (all but maybe two have been with the center for 1y+). In the time my kids have attended, we've seen many wonderful updates, from the installation of security cameras and complete remodels of rooms to new playground equipment and strollers for walks. In short, my kids are happy, well-taken care of, and the dedication and commitment of management and teachers to each other, to the children, and to the facility is clear to see. They once tried to convince me she had chicken pox (site definitely didn't) just so they could have one less kid to supervise. She was only 1! In one month, they called me 8 times to come get her. And I finally asked the owner how they got paid and whether the child is there for 1 hour or 8 hours, they charge for the full day, so the staff was getting their full pay and then just sending kids home! It was AWFUL.

Both of my children have grown tremendously since attending KinderCare, and the difference has been very noticeable. They're learning so much while building confidence, friendships, and important social skills. One thing I especially appreciate is how intentional they are with their programming. During the school year, they do an amazing job teaching concepts like patterns, early math, and problem-solving. Then when summer arrives, they shift the atmosphere to feel much more like summer camp. The kids are still learning every day, but it's through games, experiments, special activities, and hands-on experiences that make learning exciting. They also bring in special guests throughout the summer, like puppet shows, magicians, and Scales and Tails. There have been mornings when my kids weren't excited to leave the house, but once they remembered what was happening at school that day, they couldn't wait to get there. As a parent, that's one of the best compliments a daycare can receive. I also really appreciate the app they use to communicate with parents. I love getting photos throughout the day, and they strike the perfect balance with updates--enough to keep me connected without overwhelming my phone. When picking a daycare multiple friends tried…read morescaring us out of this one simply because they had bad experiences with other Kindercare locations. However this place was incredible to us. The staff and our kids teachers became family. We only switched because our oldest went into elementary school and we had to find one closer to their school. You can't ask for a better place. They have online frequent updates, divided secure classrooms with lots of open windows and visibility, and set curriculum at every single age to advance your kids learning. Currently our oldest child is already at math and reading above her grade level and I credit the continued support this Kindercare provided us.
