I had already located the underground valves except the one that needed to be replaced. It took quite a bit of time to locate the bad valve even with their locator system. The service man was not sure why they had put the valve so far from the other valves. The original installers had placed the valve next to another pvc pipe which made it more difficult to replace. I had them replace 2 sprinkler heads and the rain sensor while they were here. The parts replaced, I looked up pricing on and around $160. The shock was the ridiculous $565 invoice. I paid them, but never again. Express is on my DO NOT CALL list.

After reviewing their work I found a few spots that were missed. I had paid for the job & was worried I would get the run around. Absolutely not the case, Mr. Harris took care of the empty spaces himself. He returned with a large supply of spray foam cans & corrected the job. I believe the crew had worked all day in the heat of the day in over 100 degree environment & rushed to their finish. May this be a remedial training exercise. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I hired this company to…read moreinstall irrigation and grass in my backyard and part of my side yard. They gave us nothing but problems. I gave them thousands of dollars, and ended up having to hire someone to fix their mess or fix it myself. To start, the worker who was to install the irrigation was supposed to take 2 days, but it took over a week. The reason being: he kept napping on my front porch or in my side yard. My neighbors kept texting and calling to see if I knew about a strange guy sleeping in my front yard. Then, the new irrigation zones in the backyard were supposed to be connected to the existing system in the front yard. They did not connect it to anything, so the new zones had no water going to them. Once they did finally come out to fix it, half the new sod they laid died. They were supposed to come out and redo it, but never did despite dozens of calls and texts from me. Also, when the new zones were finally connected, I had to figure out how to adjust every head myself because some were spraying directly into a fence, pointed the opposite way, over-spraying over the fence, etc. It was a nightmare! Finally, they were only supposed to lay sod in the half of the side yard that was torn up from where all the tractors were coming in and out during our pool construction. I guess the guy (the same one who barely worked 2 hours per day because he was too busy napping in random places) didn't listen to instructions because he tore up all the existing grass that was in good shape. But because they were only supposed to lay sod in half of the side yard, they did not fix the good grass he tore up! I tried so many times for many weeks to get them to follow up on their work, and it was always one excuse after another; and that's if I could even get a call back! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!
