I paid thousands of dollars for a custom couch that was supposed to be delivered to me in the next couple of weeks. I reached out THREE times and Lorraine Davis ignored me until yesterday, with a very rude "4/10" response as if it doesn't freakin matter AT ALL that this is WEEKS late??? What a jerk. Seriously she should not be in this role. Secondly, I demand compensation for the delay. I have no sofa for 5 months because of your delays, and I deserve money back on this order. 1) I was NEVER notified of these excessive delays on my order. 2) There has been a HUGE lack of service since the minute you first reached out to me to approve the swatch. 3) Lorraine has not once apologized for the delay nor offered ANY explanation of why something I paid THOUSANDS of dollars for WEEKS AGO is going to be delayed by 5 months. 4) I reached out to Lorraine THREE times asking for an ETA over the last 3 weeks and I only yesterday heard back. 5) Instead of offering a solution & compensation for the delay & the lack of service, Lorraine has been being extremely rude to me AGAIN and careless about keeping me as a customer. I bought an Aspen loft bed for my daughter's studio apartment. I requested delivery on a specific date. The bed arrived as promised, and I paid on $150 for shipping - the website said $175 for shipping. Assembled the bed is beautiful and sturdy. I am happy with both the quality of the furniture and the service I received from ABC Home Store. I was travelling when the bed shipped and I discovered I did not have the order number on me. I called and the customer service people were really helpful - even though it was after hours! I will definitely shop ABC Home Store in the future and recommend it. read more

Do not order from their online store! They charged me for an item 2 weeks ago and never shipped it. When I called their "customer service" line the woman said she would check with the shipping department and call me back. I never received a call and now have had to file a claim through pay pal. This has been a complete pain in my ass. I believe this company is a scam and a rip off. Do not do any business with them unless you want to lose money! read more

One of my most favorite things to do in NYC - I was there for four days and this experience was fun and imaginative and creative. I live in LA so I took pics of things I will consider getting next time I'm in town - it is pricey for sure, but it's like strolling through Wonderland. You have to go. read more

This store is run by crooks! I returned an item titled "Solid Wood Wardrobe" because about 90% of it was made of particle board, not solid wood. I was promised a refund in 5-7 days and instead it took 6 weeks and many hours of phone calls and emails. When the refund arrived it did not include any of the $188 shipping charge. I was told that I had to pay this because they sent a truck to my home twice, and I ought to be happy they waived the 25% restocking fee. They maintain that the item was as described on the website, depite my sending (at their request) multiple photos of the particle board pieces. STAY AWAY from this business! They are unethical and are making me pay for their mistake. read more

I ordered a cabinet that came in a million pieces and directions in another language. I had a awful time arranging for someone from the store to come put it together for an additional charge. While they did come to put it together I got A LOT of attitude from the company - and I had to accomodate huge blocks of time i.e. 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and they didn;t arrive until 4 p.m. Finally it was assembled, but it looked absolutely terrible. The quality was extremely poor. About 2 months later I went to open the cabinet and it totally collapsed. I just threw it out. It was a $400 mistake, but I couldn't deal with contacting the company again. read more

Just wanted to say I got my desk as schdeuled on Monday July 18th. It is now put together. I am impressed at how well it was packed. Was in a wood frame and in a box. With each part carefully wrapped. The instructions were easy to follow. No words just pictures. Only thing I did wrong was put the far right panel on wrong side and one of the locking wheels in wrong place. But was able to correct those with no problem. All the screws went in nicely. My desk meets my needs. I have a 20 inch monitor, a printer, a shelf for my scanner and a spot for my harddrive.
