We did a small renovation and decided to do one stop shopping here and I have lived to regret it. My sense is that this company is growing too quickly and lowering quality at the same time. We have three fixtures that have broken in one year - one faucet has been fixed three times. Fortunately, the contractor is still on board for a year, but the plumber said that it is widely known that cheap plastic parts are now being used in many of the WW faucets, including mine. He actually showed me and said he has three different clients with the same problem. As well, a toilet paper holder have broken - again, poorly made. Finally, our faucet handles are discolored and our gray towels have turned brown. Beyond this, we have WW tiles in a bathroom that are probably inappropriate for extensive wet condition use. They refuse to acknowledge any possible problems, even though I am not looking for anything but information about possible sealant corrections, etc. The whole experience has been disappointing once I left the showroom and entered the actual ownership phase. I would do more research before ever trusting the quality here again.

I walked by the story one night after hours and saw all the beautiful items in the store window. I was disappointed that I had never stopped in during business hours. Instead, I searched the internet and was so pleased to find that Fine Linens had a website. I was trying to buy some bridal shower gifts that were monogrammed and some linens for my country house. I was so impressed after speaking with the owners who were so helpful in picking out the gifts and my linen set. They seemed really knowledgeable and went out of their way to look at picture of something I had seen in a magazine and helped me recreate the look. I was given an accurate estimate on time of delivery I am so thankful that I used Fine Linens. The ladies from the shower were so thankful for their monogrammed towels and I LOVE my bedroom now. i just moved to New York and wanted to decorate my apartment and finally own "grown-up" sheets. One of my co-workers recommended Fine Linens and said that both Steve and Dave were extremely helpful and that she ended up with a great sheets set, duvet, and towels. After researching some companies I decided to order a whole bedding set and towels for my apartment from Fine Linens. I had spoken to both of the owners two times (because I was hesitant to make a big purchase and regret it) and they were so helpful!! I love that they treated me like family. Now I have my sheets and they are the perfect color and the towels are amazing!!! I would definitely recommend this store/website to any of my friends and I look forward to buying more things as I continue to redecorate. read more

Otis mattress, HALEY 110 is what I dreamed about for years. The depth (8-10 inches), is for real whereas I sit or lie down while I am way above as if I had a box spring underneath the futon frame. I don't need to struggle anymore off the futon. I can't even describe what it is like to sleep on it...!!! You can't any better than the best mattress for a bed itself. The firmness and depth is so powerful, while trying to fold the mattress onto frame, I thought the mattress was another model because I couldn't get it to fold. But I folded the side which was already folded in the box which made it easier, tried the other side again and both sides folded onto futon frame. I hope my description is understood. Kept mattress on floor for 48 hours, flipped on 24 hour time period, to let the mattress expand. On the folded side in the box, I had to place weighted laundry baskets and other items on two other sides for the mattress to completely touch the floor evenly. Mission accomplished. I purchased the mattress through email communication, instead of the in-store although I live in NY. The service online was excellent service, professional and last time I bought mattress in store, I noticed phone conversation & online service was a way for their business. So near or far - you can business with them and Futonland seems to be the only real store still in business for futon mattresses or frames, etc.

Why did it take so long for the company to reach out to customers about this huge problem? If they didn't know about the bacteria problem, that's bad enough. If they knew about it and delayed reporting it to customers while they got their ducks in a row would simply be too evil to contemplate. I'm not sure what the "company" line is on the issue. Money in hand, I am done with the Laundress forever even though they say they are retooling their product line. I have already found another laundry brand with clean and non-toxic ingredients.
