These folks are WAY too selfish with their boxes! Seriously, I have been getting boxes from liquor stores forever, and have NEVER been told (rudely, I might add) that "boxes are for customers ONLY!" When I replied that I "was a customer (I actually live in Crystal Falls, the community they are supposed to serve, & had purchased from them in the past), they said I had to make a purchase at that time! WTF????? How often does THAT happen? So guess what, ABC Liquor....EFF YOU!! You don't know jack sh*t about customer service or serving your community, therefore I VOW TO NEVER SET FOOT IN YOUR CRAP STORE AGAIN, for ANY REASON! TWIN Liquors will gladly get my $$$ AND they LOVE when ppl take their boxes, because it means that they don't have to break down as many. Win Win! read more

It's what it is. A local liquor spot but +20-25% market price vs what you will pay for anything here vs Specs or Total Wine. Sometimes the drive is worth it. I've got Blanton's, Eagle, Pappy and trust me you will over pay vs driving a little and saving a lot. Customer Service isn't the best either... their releases will be one bottle and over market. First time and LAST time!!, that I will ever step foot in a ABC Liquor Store (posted photo MVC). When I entered the store I was immediately approached by the owner, he ask what I was looking for and I told him, anything in particular? That's when $hit hit the fan... (posted photo of bourbon and receipt MVC) the bourbon I was looking for he kept in the back and would not sell it to me because I was not a regular customer, when I became a regular customer of his "OVER" price liquor then he'd maybe sell me that particular bottle of bourbon I was looking for, the two bottles that I did buy (posted photo MVC) we're not on the shelf either and had to ask for those. Look how OVERPRICED!!, ABC Liquor Store prices are (posted photo MVC). Great to have a store close to home. I've come to rely on Cyril's recommendations. When asking for recommendations it's important to get a frame of reference first. That's why instead of asking what's good, or what do you like, I ask staff of stores do you like "Brand Xyz" (something I like) and do you like "Brand DEF" (something I don't like) ... then ask them what do you like. For instance I like certain Tequilas, Scotch and Whiskies. I've picked up a few new favorites and probably avoided things that would be a waste of money for me. Believe me I have a few just taking up space in my bar, ready for trash heap that I bought elsewhere by asking "what's good". BTW, If you like the taste of Tequila, make your next margarita with Mescal and what's called Jamaica (pronounced Hamayka). Unlike most tequilas who's flavor get lost, Mescal can actually be tasted. And Mescal has more flavor before you've eaten something, in comparison to Tequila. read more

This place is an absolute gem! I'm so glad this opened up in the area. Located two doors down from Randall's, they have a pretty great selection at decent prices. I was able to get Blanton's here (which I haven't been able to get anywhere else), along with some great wines. Wes is a treasure trove of information about wine, while Jodi is a joy to talk to in general. They're incredibly welcoming. I'm definitely guilty of stopping after after a grocery trip just to say hi to my friends there, especially when they have tastings. Would highly recommend to all my Crystal Falls peeps! read more

Super friendly staff helped me choose a moscato for a party since they didn't carry the one my guest requested. However, the lady giving mezcal samples was rude (I thought it was some kind of tequila- excuse me). Anyway, I didn't really want a sample and after she was rude, I tried to smooth it over by asking questions about the liquor, but she was really awkward. She is the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars because everyone else was really nice and I really appreciated their assistance with the wine. Not sure what's up with the bad reviews for this place. I decided to swing by since I was in the area, was looking for a particular bottle of bourbon. I believe it was Sanjay there who greeted me, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very transparent on how they operate, especially with some of their allocated picks. I never felt uncomfortable or pressured talking with him about this. As a first time customer to ABC, and especially after hearing so many negative things about these stores, I was very impressed. I ended up finding what I was looking for and picked up a store pick single barrel. Can't wait to try both! Prices overall were very reasonable, pretty similar to what you'd see at a twin liquors. I went to this place when it first opened and had a terrible experience with the owner. I was looking for Weller 12, which he said he had. However, he wouldn't sell it to me because I wasn't a regular. This is very difficult being a first time customer. Also, the store just opened. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. I will NEVER visit this store again. He could have had a new customer for his business, but lost one forever. I've heard from others having similar severe disappointments with the owner/manager as well. So it's not a one time experience. Oops! I can't post with zero stars. This is the most expensive liquor store around! Unbelievable how much more than any other liquor store. Two of the people that work in the store are not even that nice! Went in to purchase fireball minis and the cashier was so rude. I have purchased it at previous stores in a bundle of 15 for the holidays. He had the bundle, but said they only sold it in singles so it would be double the price. Okay, I understand that. I can purchase it elsewhere. However, this guy was SO RUDE!!!!! When I told him he didn't need to be rude to me about it because I didn't know, I was only going by how I had bought it from other places. He then told me never to come back. I called the manager and he wasn't helpful either. I will not be back. Don't go to this establishment! No one needs to be mistreated because they don't know you sell your liquor differently than absolutely everywhere else!!!!! read more

This place is awful. Despite not having the mini Ciroc bottle's, one of the woman managers or employees (who ever it was) didn't even greet me and the people I was with. The first thing asked was "Is everyone here 21 or older, if not get out!" Like yes this is liquor store? Can you not say hello and greet your customers before abruptly asking this absurd condescending question? You're going to need to see an ID regardless. On top of that, my first trip here was just as bad as the second (and last) . I was questioned by the manager Sanjay about how clean and tidy their Westlake location was? He asked me & seemed to try to "test" me on their store... I've been there once or twice no need to compare and ask questions about every liquor store I've been to not only in the Westlake area but here in Leander/Cedar Park as well. The management seems very stand off-ish & seems to like to get the "insight" on the "competition" in the area such as Don's Liquor ( which who are amazing ). I don't recommend coming here as the manager Sanjay in specific seems to act like a know it all. I also don't ever see myself coming back here! Check out Don's Liquor next to the HEB on 183! They are always amazing and have a versatile staff who are ready to help and make customers feel welcomed! read more

I'm a loyal customer with this family and for the flowing reasons. First the customer service, I requested a beer that is hard to find, and is small batch production and they stock for me. They managed a wedding for our family gave us great pricing, and better yet awesome service. I speak of ABC liquor as a family because it is a family business with great family values. The dad who heads this operations is a true entrepreneur and a very approachable person and knows customers service. Great family and great customer service. read more

So over priced, paid about 70 dollars more then I would at Specs, total wine and well all the other liquor stores in Leaner and Cedar park. I will never shop there again read more
