We love ABC Preschool! Our daughter attends school here and we feel so lucky for that. She learns so much, has so many best friends and we feel like she is in the best hands when she's there. The staff and teachers go above and beyond to make all of the kids feel special. The school is in a great neighborhood, it's very clean with new toys and supplies, they send so many pictures, tuition includes fun extra-curricular activities like music and dance classes, and we appreciate that they share the curriculum plan weekly. I can go on and on about how positive our experience has been. Before ABC Preschool, our daughter went to another "school" close by and we wish we found ABC Preschool sooner because it's the best preschool in the area. We highly recommend it. We have nothing but amazing things to say about ABC School House. Our son spent a little over a year at the school and had the best time. He was fully prepared to start Kindergarten and this was because of the excellent teachings and care he received from ABC. The teachers were amazing and I knew he was in great hands every day. Our son has been coming here for six months, and we've seen immense academic improvement. When he started, he was barely writing his numbers and letters, but now he writes all the letters and numbers, does basic math, and reads sight words. This school is a joke. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. My wife and I had done our homework and checked this place out. We looked at their licensing and also looked to see if they had any citations. The last day of her first week would immediately be her last day. On March 26, 2021 I was en route to pick my daughter up at an early time. I had 2 reasons to Pick her up early. Reason one, it was the end of her first week and we wanted to celebrate what we thought was a successful first week for My daughter. Reason 2, I wanted to speak to the so called director sue about concerns that I had. At approximately 3:30pm, I'm executing a right hand turn when I find my 2 year old daughter outside on the street crying, begging, pleading, reaching out trying to get in or trying to get someone's attention to get into the school. I immediately stopped my vehicle blocking traffic to aid my daughter who is scared and all Kinds of emotions. My daughter could of been struck by a car or worse off, been kidnapped and never heard from again. NO ONE IN THE SCHOOL KNEW SHE WAS GONE TILL I ARRIVED AND BASICALLY SAVED HER FROM EMINENT DANGER. The owner is some sort of child psychologist, which is a big joke to me considering when she called me, she started to itemize the things we were going to be refunded. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! This lady doesn't give two shits about these kids. Such a high level of negligence. Faulty door that doesn't even close properly on its own. Did I mention I have video. I want all the parents to Put yourself in my position. Had this happen to Your child how would you feel? Sue is a piece of crap. She is in the wrong line of work. She should have nothing to do with any line of work that involves children. I implore you to please stay away from this school. They will not care for your kids like they expressed they would. This is a lovely little school! Teachers are kind and thoughtful, my son loved coming every day. They do lots of fun art projects, sing songs (that freaking robot song will be a part of our family repertoire forever) and really care about the kids. But my 3 year old son's review sums it up best "I feel happy when I'm at ABC preschool house". And as a parent, what more could I want? read more

My son started going to school here a few months ago. He has really excelled at this school. He started a week after his third birthday. Now, he knows his abc's, days of the week, colors, shapes, numbers. He has become so bright since starting school here. I feel like the teachers really care about the kids and are always watching the kids. I have never seen any of the teachers/staff on their phones at any of the times that i've been at the school, and that's a huge plus in our book. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and i highly recommend for others. My son has gone here since he was 2 years old and will be starting kindergarten this year. The entire experience has been absolutely wonderful. Each teacher has been so caring and so attentive of each child's individual needs. My son was excelling in certain area, and they would constantly work to find more challenging work just for him. We now have an overprepared 5 year old who is beyond ready for elementary school. I have heard the same thing from many of the other parents who are shocked at the advanced learning materials. Aside from the excellent academics, the school always has fun events during the holidays and during summer school. There is always something engaging happening for the kids. I have been sending both of my children to ABC Schoolhouse for over a year now and we absolutely love it. My daughter, 2 years old, is on the little kid side and my son, 4 years old, is on the big kid side and both have been fantastic - they come home every day having learned new things, they have made great friends with not just the other kids but also with the teachers and caregivers - they love it so much there are many days I can't get them to leave at the end of the day because they are having so much fun! I'm so happy to leave my kids in their care knowing they are happy and safe. We started our kids at this school in the thick of the pandemic and there have been absolutely no health scares in over a year. The staff takes every precaution to keep the school clean and they have even been successful in helping the kids learn to wear masks - and all the adults wear masks too. I am constantly impressed with how organized, efficient and creative these teachers are, while always maintaining such positive attitudes every day. I know they work so hard but they make it look so easy - my kids love them and talk about them all the time. They are always getting to do all kinds of fun activities from learning, coloring, crafts, outdoor play, water play, and even dance class and music time. There was one minor safety incident a while back but that was a total anomaly and nothing like that has ever happened before nor since - and after it did happen, the school took every precaution to notify parents and make sure the safety procedures were all being followed as well as making improvements needed to make sure the front door shuts and locks safely and that all parents are using their individual gate codes and watching out for each other and the kids. I have made friends with parents of other kids at this school because it is such a warm and caring environment and the communication is completely open and transparent, from parents to teachers to staff. read more

My daughter started preschool here in April 2023. Let me start off with how beautiful this school is. The cleanliness, how spacious and organized it is- it caught my attention. This place was recently (not sure how recent) renovated and is nothing like the pictures that are posted. It's so much better. That one bad Yelp review from years ago did concern me however when I did ask management about it they were being honest with me. The incident happened with previous management and it just seems like how they got the school running now puts my mind at ease. My daughter's teachers were Ms Ana & Ms Christina. They are amazing & wonderful & I am so grateful for them. My daughter started school not being able to talk. She started at 2.5 years old. She does have speech delay however as of now, she is speaking in sentences and there's just so much improvement and I do have to thank this school, most importantly Ms Ana & Ms Christina for all that they did for my daughter. Everyday when she would come home, she surprised me with new things that she learned. One thing that did surprise me was one day she started counting in Spanish I was so shook and confused lol but that just showed that my daughter took everything they taught in. Unfortunately we did move out of the city and had to move our daughter to a different school- but let me tell you, I cannot find a school that can replace ABC school house. I am hoping that one day I will be moving back to Burbank and no doubt will consider putting my kids back to this school. The owners are amazing as well ! Our 6 year old daughter graduated from ABC's first ever Kindergarten class in June 2021. We absolutely loved Ms. Meri's Kinder class. She is an excellent teacher. Our daughter learned so much this past year, she was one of the top students in the class. Our 4 year old son graduated from the Preschool side with Ms. Wendy and Ms. Mehtab who have been fantastic teachers. Both our kids loved the arts and crafts activities and really enjoyed music and dance classes offered at the school. We are going to miss ABC and all the teachers, especially Ms. Taylor, Ms. Meri, Ms. Wendy and Ms. Mehtab. The school is well organized and it's easy to communicate with any teacher. We would recommend ABC to any parent looking for Kinder and Preschool classes. read more

My 3 year old daughter started ABC School House last year. This was her first time in a school environment. I was worried that she would be scared being at a new place without myself or her dad. I had no reason to worry my daughter so happy to go school and the teacher and Office Manager Ms. Wendy and Ms. Suzanne was so comforting and welcoming. I cried when I left but she was so happy when I picked her up later that day. I know her dad and I made the right choice. She has learned so much not just academically but social skills as well. My son and I had a good experience with this school when he attended last school year. I must mention that my son entered this school already a well behaved boy, but I attribute Ms. Wendy and Ms. Mehtab for a lot of the academic success my son has had. He was taught how to write and identify all the letters and sounds and he began reading during this time too. I realize this might not happen for everyone, but I feel ABC School House is greatly responsible for how my son does his homework with such ease and how he is flourishing in his current classroom! I've had positive experiences with Ms. Mehtab, Ms. Wendy and Bernadette. They are welcoming and have events for the parents and children which helps families get to know each other. Their prices are pretty awesome when you do comparisons around Burbank and I love that their staff members have been there for many years unlike other places that have a quick turnaround. Another thing I appreciated from this school is that there is little tolerance for unacceptable behavior. My son complained very little (if at all) about other children bothering him which is something I miss as now that my son is in public school with a larger classroom, there is more room for bad behavior slipping through the cracks. My son is on the introverted side, but he developed many friendships and he often tells me how much he misses ABC School House. We have gone back to visit the teachers at his request. Knowing how much this place meant to my son shows me I made the right decision in choosing this school. read more

My daughter has been attending this school for over 2 years. She began at three years old and my only regret is not enrolling her sooner. The entire staff is so friendly, I've never had any problems. The teachers are truly wonderful and I feel she is getting a top notch education. More importantly my daughter loves going to school and doing her homework! It really shows how much the teachers and staff care about the children. I have seen major academic growth within my daughter. They also offer soccer, gymnastics and a music teacher. Just to name a few. I have full confidence that she is and will be fully prepared for kindergarten. They also do a lot of cool things for the parents such as plays, performances and parties. Especially for the holidays. As a busy working mom this school has exceeded my expectations. When I drop my daughter off I have no worries. The children are in good hands and well taken care of. My son has attended ABC for a year now and we could not be more pleased. Unfortunately we must leave because of my new job opportunity and we are so sad to be leaving. My son attended an in home daycare from 5 months until 2, then the pandemic hit. He started ABC in August 2020 and we have had a wonderful experience there. We started with Ms. Suzanne as the director but she soon moved and was replaced with Ms. Suzi. She came in and very quickly became a part of the family. Her warm and loving nature made tough drop offs easier for my son as well as for me. She always greeted my son with hugs and acknowledged him with encouraging words for the day. She was easy to communicate with and truly cares for all of the kiddos there like they are her own. My son started without any potty training and was fully potty trained within two months. All of the staff is gentle and caring with all of the students. My son often comes home from school and says he wants to go back to school and he tells me how much he loves his teachers all the time. That is a sure sign he is happy there. They serve hot meals cooked on sight along with snacks, which is a relief for a busy working parent. He comes home weekly with fun art projects and creative activities. He genuinely loves going to school. Any time someone I know asks for a recommendation I always refer them to ABC. I truly wish that we could stay. We will be coming back next year for their summer camp program. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a nice, small, loving place for their kiddos. read more

My niece went here many, many years ago...she's now a Senior at BHS graduating with a 3.4 GPA! Because of how well this school was for my niece, I decided to bring my oldest daughter here, and im so glad!! ABC School House has been extremely good for us as a family. It all starts at the top with Director, Bernadette Perera and it reverberates throughout the School House with great intentions and unmatched enthusiasm. Keep in mind that the school has a great support system in the teaching of Ms. Wendy, Angela, Mehtab and Caroline. As we all know, school could be of great anxiety when one is at a grade school level but every child receives individual attention from their respective teachers at times during the day. Greatest decision I ever made was taking my daughter to this school. She technically started preschool at another school in Burbank but issues with how they manage the kids, their policies and lack of morals made me find another school for my daughter. After checking a few schools I came across ABC School House. The staff here make you feel like family. It's a very clean, nice, welcoming environment. The school is houses put together including a back house turned into a computer lab. Its amazing. The different age/grade children are separated into different classes instead of one big group. There is even two different play areas for them with size/age appropriate toys. Since my daughter came to this school, she has been thriving. She reads and does math at levels above her age. They do a lot of arts and fun activities with the kids to help them learn and understand. Not to mention, they teach/enforce proper manners and friendship. They do not allow bullying and any little injury or incident is properly documented and parents are notified. I have never had a problem at this school. I highly recommend parents to bring their kids to this school. I'm sad my daughter will be graduating from here this year because it's such an amazing school. My 3yr old daughter has been attending ABC Schoolhouse since February of this year. When she first started I had some concerns about her speech development as she could understand but wouldn't speak and I even to her to a speech therapist. My daughter now talks non-stop. She speaks full sentences, knows her ABCs, she can count, knows her colors, shapes, animals, etc. Im so proud of her and the school. There child to teacher ratio is awesome and I know that she as well as the other children get the attention they need and deserve from a personal and learning aspect. My daughter cant stop mentioning the names of her friends and the teachers. As parents we pick and drop our children off at different times of the day and when I do have opportunity to run into a parent we engage in conversation about the school and our children. I love it!!!The teachers are great as they know each child individually and I can ask any of the preschool teachers something about my daughter and they can provide me with an update on the spot. I'm very happy with my choice in this school and I plan on keeping her their until she starts Kindergarten. My cousin was sent here because it was one of the closest to moms work.. well the little one started at 2.5 years of age fully potty trained no accidents. after starting here she started having many many many accidents, yes it was a new enviornment and it is expected but wow not nearly as much as it was happening. Well, a few days after her mom showed up unexpectedly to pick her up and noticed that the little girl froze as she saw one of the women... after few minutes of being there she witnessed the same woman wiping a child down very violoently while the child cried. Needless to say, they pulled her out immediately! AVOID IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN! read more
