AVOID ABC SMOKE AT ALL COSTS - ZERO STARS
My experience at the ABC Smoke location in Ankeny was an absolute nightmare. The new cashier from California was an unmitigated disaster. Her attitude was atrocious, and her behavior was completely unacceptable.
When I asked about purchasing sale items, she refused, citing no valid reason. Her condescending tone and dismissive body language made it clear she didn't care about customers. Things escalated when I asked to speak to the manager; she made snide comments about me during the phone call.
The manager's approval of the purchase was meaningless, as the cashier continued to refuse service. Her actions were a perfect example of how not to treat customers. As a paying customer, I expect basic respect and courtesy - neither of which I received.
ABC Smoke's lack of accountability and poor training is staggering and their poor customer service is a reflection of their values - or lack thereof. Steer clear of this location and take your business elsewhere.
Unless Ankit takes immediate action to address this employee's behavior, fire her, and provide better training to their staff, I'll make sure to share my horrific experience with friends, family, and online platforms. read more
