I then needed a window replacment. The OEM said I needed to work through Allied. Reluctantly I gave the size of the window to the associate. with what I belived was the order/warranty number. I never received confirmation what was being ordered. When the window came in I could tell it was too large. The associate said I could bring it back if it was not the right size. After confirming it was too large I attempted to bring it back. The same associate said I could not return it! This was there error not mine. They should have confirmed the size before ordering. Just wanted to share my experience. Would rather shop at someplace with a return policy. Not impressed.

Sure, there are fewer than them compared to other stores, but it's also cleaner and more organized. When I look up products online, I can set my store and the website will tell me which aisle and row the item is in (with a map schematic!), and the inventory is scary accurate. I once cried at the orange hardware store because strangely enough it carried a product Menards did not offer, but I couldn't find it and none of the store employees could either. That was a long day. That would never happen at Menards. Aside from that one incident, I have found that Menards carries a wider selection in general compared to other hardware stores, and often sells the same product for much cheaper. The only thing I don't like is that you have to mail in the rebates for store credit. Like, why is this? Modernize already! Additionally, I love the plant selection that Menards offers. Even on clearance, the plants look gorgeous and hold up well. They also have a policy that if a checkout line is more than two customers deep, they open another line.

I said so you're not going to honor the sign and she's like "nope" and just walked away! Horrible customer service and just disrespectful! I will be returning all 3! Save your self and just go across the street to HD I emailed corporate and spoke with the general managers assistant who after initial contact ignored my response email, only to have the actual general manager reach out to me and do nothing. He basically said even though the placement of the totes and signage are deceptive to customers the sign states no totes (in the smallest print)! Told me he had totes all over the store as "filler" and for end caps and that don't mean they are on sale just because a sign is there, not sure why they have signs then. He also didn't address the rude customer service until I brought it up and couldnt explain to me why Molly would leave the sign above the totes if it caused confusion about the sale. While the customer service email was helpful, it unfortunately was just poor customer service all around and a waste of time to reach out to anyone at the Taylor store.

We looked at several available products available at the shop and decided on a clip together tile that the shop would install. The owner stopped in to measure an also offered to cover a limestone step into the addition with the tile. The finished job was not the cheapest product we had seen but the professionalism in the total purchase and installation of the flooring is one of the best values we have acquired in many years. We are extremely pleased with the look and the obvious quality of the tile. Thanks David. Good to know we still have quality products and installation still available when you look for it.

So the Tile Stop is an incredible selection of just about any kind of Tile you can think of, but…read moreman -- customer service is quite low on their priority list. I came in with an obscure color and size of tile from a broken bathroom and they matched it up rather quickly. We ordered what we thought was the right color in the right finish, and it was ordered within minutes, shipped in two days. The only problem was that it differed with the sample that we agreed on. Now I only have a bachelor's degree, and Lord knows I've never worked at a tile shop before, but the man patronized me for having the audacity to try to order the correct tile. On the receipt, Tile Stop had the right number, but had the wrong name, and we probably argued about the stupid $7 worth of tile for about twenty minutes until his coworker came in and said, "Let's try to make the customer happy. He's probably wrong and I'd put money on that, but worse comes to worse he'll have twice as much of the wrong tile." And I reluctantly agreed, but it was too late to call their distributor for the random tile. So they said they'd call the next day. About two weeks later I had assumed they either forgot or didn't want to order it again. So I called The Tile Stop and they, indeed, had no recollection of the reorder... So, I paid twice as much for the right tile and shipping with their distributor (Beaver Glass and Tile) 40+ miles away and guess what? I was correct. Who knew the customer could be even occasionally right? Wouldn't go with them again outside of convenience to match the tile. Incompetence aside, no customer should feel attacked for wanting to get a product. In fact, I would put money on the fact that they still have the wrong style of tile somewhere waiting for someone to pick it up. Maybe I'm an isolated case, but maybe not. Happy hunting!
