Being the director of Abel landscaping I'd like to make a comments about some of reviews left on here. There are always two sides to every story. So in our defence to the comment by Jane D , she is being Very un fair and not telling the whole truth . There was unforeseen extras work Jane and her husband instructed us to carry out . One of the items or work was to under pin the boundary wall which had a sink hole under it making it very un safe that had to be filled in with concrete . This was discovered after we lifted her existing paving up . The councle instructed them to immediately make it safe as the wall was about to cal apse on access all-way .There were also lots of other extras items added to the project that were not accounted in the original design . In our term and conditions we specified that the quote was customised to the specifications in the design and if design or quantities change then the cost will change accordingly . So if less work costed is carried out then cost will be less and if more work is carried out than we have accounted for then cost will be more . The customer needed job completing for a party that was schedulled and was basically demanding we get off site before then . The job could not be completed correctly in time so we said we shall come back the following week after the party to rectify and complete some unfinished work . It's really unfair to high light in her pictures this work . I will post some good pictures of the job They would not let us back on site and told us we were not getting paid for any additional work in which they clearly instructed us to carry out . . I told them they have to give us the right to complete the work and fix the snags caused by them rushing us to complete for the party in which they eventually let us back on site to rectify . . They refused to pay us in full and told us that that they would remove any bad reviews . Then they went to live in Canada very unfair Abel landscaping are not like what this customer betrayed us to be . Regards the comments from beth W I or any one from the company have never met her . She phoned us asking us for a rough price over the phone based on our price list our office manage have her a price based on her specification . When I site there was twice as much work to do than she had told us . She did not have the funds and we said she could pay each month . Her demands were not sustainable she was not on site as it was her Doughter's home one was there to attend the survey except myself . Again let the Ruth me know we do not lie and have no reason to lie . Some people can be really nasty if they don't get what they want . . The job had previously been started by another contractor who left the garden in a real mess , again it's unfair to be trying to bad mouth our company for not wanting to meet her demand's . read more
